Even though we live directly across from the Log Cabin Inn (a sister restaurant) and have to pass Rachels Roadhouse(also a sister restaurant), we much prefer the food, service, staff members, menu and atmosphere of the Iron Bridge. I was absolutely DEVASTATED on our visit with our close friends on 7/10/26 and was informed that their Shrimp and Grits have been removed from the menu. Our server Lesley was absolutely fantastic. She immediately went back to the kitchen and asked if they could still make this for me and the Kitchen staff had some remaining grits to make an order for me. I relocated 8 years ago from South Carolina and I seek out the best Shrimp and Grits whenever I can. I have to say that in my opinion the Iron Bridge Shrimp and Grits are one of the top 2 or 3 I have ever eaten! I want to also commend both our server Lesley as well as the kitchen staff for going above and beyond in making a customer visit special but also for all their work to prepare and serve our whole party with their meals as well. Everyone in our party was extremely satisfied with their meals and their service which are the reasons that we drive a half hour up to eat here. Thank you!

The renovations to the inside and outside pay homage to the restaurant's origins, and the charm of the place was perfectly preserved. The mix of colors, patterns, and pieces inside is clearly intentional, and it was gorgeous. Everything we had for lunch was excellent - from the craft cocktails to the soup and salad to the amazing Parmesan garlic fries. I still think about the fries often - they were some of the best I've ever had. The locally sourced ingredients shine on the menu, and service was thoughtful and not rushed.
