a variety of bagels in a display case
    He Said She Said ..

He Said: Quick stop here while leaving town after a nights stay and making our way to Atlanta to see Greensky Bouegrass. The staff was friendly though not-exactly efficient - pretty slow for hardly anyone there. The bagel was a bit bready for sure and the cream cheese was oddly flat in flavor. The toppings on the ET were quite good, but that's about it. I'd come back if I was in town again to give them a another shot, but not necessarily go out of my way. She Said: It's hard for me to resist a pumpernickel bagel when there's one available, though that means I'm often disappointed. The Broadway pumpernickel had good rye flavor, but the bagel didn't have the right chew, it came out cold even though I had ordered it toasted (so I assume it sat for a bit before being delivered), and the cream cheese lacked flavor. Potty Points: No trip to the potty for me this time!

It's not a bad place to get something quick to eat a little over pricey. Tables a little dirty for 12 noon Especially when you have two cashier working and no one is in there. I also gave her my money in her hand and she put my change on the counter and I had my hand out for my change how rude is that.

Love the big variety of bagels and coffee! Menu also has other options like omelets and refreshers. They're bagels are made from scratch and are delicious! So many options of cream cheese and coffee syrups too!

I recently moved to Spartanburg, SC from New York and was so excited to find this "new york style" bagel shop. Well it was pretty disappointing. Ordered a bacon egg and cheese. Was asked if I wanted my bagel toasted, said yes and then received a not at all toasted bagel. There was barely anything on it and it cost $7. Way too overpriced for the fact that it had like one egg and 2 pieces of bacon. Doesnt come close to compare to New York

Great bagel shop. Quiet to do work but also great for a friend hangout. Definitely recommend and the prices are perfect too.

    A clean and cozy place.

I came here with friends during my Spartanburg visit, and boy am I glad I came here! The bagels at this place simply blew me away! They are the most fresh and soft bagels I ever had. I'm from NY and I know what a good bagel tastes like, but now I know what a fantastic bagel tastes like! I wish I lived in Spartanburg so I could eat here everyday! Amazing place you won't regret coming here!

    Crazy for you

Our drink orders were taken promptly, and when the drinks arrived, they also took our food order -- smooth and attentive service from start to finish. We started with the buffalo chicken dip with pimento cheese and pita bread, which was outstanding. The pita was perfectly toasted on the outside while staying warm and soft on the inside -- absolutely delicious. For our meals, I ordered the Down South Chicken Sandwich, and my girlfriend chose the Korean BBQ Chicken Sandwich. Both were excellent. We cut them in half so we could try each other's, and honestly, I loved both. The flavors, freshness, and quality really stood out. I live in Greenville, and I would gladly make the 50-minute drive just to eat here again. Amazing food, friendly service, and a great overall experience. Highly recommend -- I'll definitely be back soon!

You'd be better off grabbing a box of Spinx chicken and a tall boy. As for the atmosphere--just a few neon lights trying (and failing) to distract from the fact that what they call "hot" is barely lukewarm. Update for the owners response: We ordered the Flocking Hot sauce on our sandwich. What we received was essentially the no-heat sauce with a few pepper flakes sprinkled in. We even asked for extra sauce, assuming there had been a mistake in reading the ticket--but the ramekin was the same: no heat, just pepper flakes. It was mild enough that my children dipped their nuggets in it. Rather than becoming defensive, it may be more productive to address and rectify the consistency and accuracy issues being pointed out.

Sort of reminded me of an old diner that had be renovated to a clean upscale vibe. We ordered the steak kabobs and they were mouthwatering with flavor. My fiancee got an old fashioned and I got a rabbits foot, one of their craft gin cocktails. It was AMAZING, the gentleman's ice cube I believe was made with lavender so as it melted, your drink was even more flavorful and not watered down. He ordered the shiny duck and I the beef fillet and mashed potato. Both were also delicious, this is a farm to table spot so you know it's fresh. One thing which I didn't minus a star for was considering the price point I would think they would offer a vegetable with your meal. Few spears of broccolini or asparagus or carrots, just to make it feel a little more well-rounded of a plate. The were out of a few items being a busy day/night but we didn't mind. We will try them next go around. Our server Erin was just epic, great sense of humor and very attentive! We will be back again and make sure to sit in her section. Cheers to supporting local non chain restaurants!

I wandered into Main Street Bar & Eatery for what was supposed to be a "quick bite between quotes." Instead, I became spiritually welded to a barstool while the TV blasted a man in flannel yeeting a chainsaw like it owed him money. And the fried pickles. Good grief. Those things ambushed me. One minute I'm thinking "I'll just have a snack," and the next I'm waist-deep in a basket of fried circles of temptation, crunching my way into oblivion while pretending to "work." My laptop was open, sure, but let's not lie to ourselves -- I got absolutely nothing done. I was too busy yelling advice at professional lumberjacks like I'd trained for this moment my whole life.
