There is not an Eggs Up Grill in Atlanta, so this place is a treat for me. My family knows to plan at least meal at Eggs Up Grill when Q is in town. I'm big on service. Feeling welcome, feeling seen, and feeling appreciated for my patronage matters as much as the food. FOH at Eggs Up Grill is friendly and attentive. The atmosphere is comfortable. The place is clean and bright. Now, I'm a chicken and waffles connoisseur. Their Belgium waffles are soft and malty inside while crispy on the edges. Stopped in Sunday before getting on the road home after visiting a friend for weekend, they were packed but I sat at the bar and it seemed like the waiting time for tables was pretty quick though. Server was nice and friendly, place was clean as well! I ordered the Caramel Apple Pancakes and they were good and fresh. The caramel sauce and the crumble was very good. I loved this place. Got the pumpkin pancakes and they were amazing. The breakfast potatoes were awesome and we added onions & green peppers. The service was a little slow, but there was great team work from other staff members. The menu at this location is better than the other one we tried because it had a lot more items on the menu. The food here is always quality. The bathrooms are clean. I think this is true because it always seems full and there is never any food just laying around ready to be served. The servers always seem friendly and quick on their feet. If you go on a Friday or Saturday, then prepare for a wait. I have tried most everything on the menu and I love when they add new menu items. It seems like they are keeping up with the latest trends for breakfast and brunch. The only reason I would give them a four star would be because of cost of the food. First off, what an awesome find! Came here for lunch with family and were warmly greeted. Our server was awesome! The cappuccino was DELICIOUS! I ordered the hash and eggs which were phenomenal. My mom ordered the pancakes and eggs with a side of hash which she really enjoyed. My brother ordered the chocolate strawberry French toast and he thought they were the best ever! Searched for brunch places and decided to give this place a try after reading reviews. The inside is decorated super sure and modern. The wait was only 15 minutes which was great. I tried the apple cider mimosa they currently have for the holidays. It was super good and festive. The wait for food to come out took around 30 minutes. I ordered chocolate chip pancakes, when they came out guess what? No chocolate chips. I didn't complain because we had already waited 30 minutes. Our server never came by before our food came out to check on us to see if we needed more drinks. Now to the food. It was decent. The pancakes are huge, but super dry. They definitely need butter. We used so much syrup and it comes out super slowly lol. The breakfast home fries were amazing. Would recommend ordering them. I was informed that this place is the spot to have breakfast. I went once after work, since I was working overnight, and got tired of the hotel continental breakfast. The first time I ordered the home fries loaded bowl. Delish!!! I came back four more times within my stay in Spartanburg. The waitresses were outstanding, gave me good advice as to what to go see in neighboring cities. I had the chicken fried steak and eggs, and the regular eggs sausage bacon. Delightful server and great service. We were socially distanced at comfortable seating. Music wasn't excessively loud so conversation was possible. My husband order steak and eggs with garlic toast and I ordered the veggie omelet with raisin toast. Coffee was piping hot and fresh. The steak was perfectly cooked and flavorful; my omelet was loaded with veggies, and my husband said his scrambled eggs were done very well. The servings were large enough that I took leftovers home! We all have days but situational awareness is helpful. I needed an off menu tweak to work within my allergies. The hostess was polite and my food came out quickly. My avocado looked pretty anemic and concerningly looked like it may have been cut or spooned out with something cross contaminated in sour cream. My allergies thankfully aren't quite that sensitive but the lack of precaution didn't sit well with me. The home fry bowl was a weak average at best. The place was clean(ish) with a fair amount of visible dirt on the floor and an averagely clean bathroom. Not up to the standards of the one in greenville or the other locations. read more
