    Half of the ULTIMATE.

The food was good! We were seated, and ordered our food right away. When asked, our friendly server recommended the Broadway Melt and the Ultimate. Per reviews I upscaled to the Brew fries. The food came out piping hot. Both sandwiches were stacked with meat and had a lot of flavor. The Brew fries almost had a malt vinegar (?) taste that I savored. I'm questioning my 4/5 rating but I feel that the food is pricey, especially when you look at the dinner options.

We ordered take-out, which consisted of; The veggie grinder with added pepperoni (side of fries) & the Philly grinder (side of fries), as well as two pepsis. Our total was $27, which seemed a little pricey. (We recently went to another sandwich place & were able to get two 6 inch hot subs, 2 bags of chips & 2 pepsis for $11!) The veggie grinder was good, messy. No real complaints. My husband thought the Philly was also good but that the meat lacked flavor. The big issue? Fries. The fries were awful. No seasoning whatsoever & limp. Thank goodness they threw in ketchup packets because I don't think either of us could have eaten the fries otherwise. To pay that much for the meal and have something as basic as fries lack seasoning & substance was disappointing. Neither of us feel the need to travel the 30 miles back for a meal here, sadly.

Broadway Grille is one of the select few places I actually care to order from in Coldwater. I give the atmosphere 5 stars. It's got a very cozy and unique setting to it. Service. Between 4-5 stars. My service hasn't really been too bad. Sometimes just slow because of the staffing shortages everyone is experiencing right now. Cleanliness. 4 stars. It's clean. I've never had an issue. Food Prices. 2-3ish stars. The cost of some of their menu items is outrageous. Cocktail Prices. 1. The drinks are NOT worth what they cost. Don't waste your money. Food. This is always a tricky rating because we all have different taste buds, expectations, and the one who prepares the food varies. One day John Doe could prepare you the best steak you've ever had, the next time you get Cindy Lou and your steak comes out lookin like a hockey puck. Consistency is hard to come by, especially now days. With that bein said..... Sometimes their food is a 4-5 star rating, and other times it's a 1. I had food from Broadway twice this week so I am gonna tell you my experience for both times. Tuesday, my boss ordered us food. I can't speak for my coworkers on any of their food choices. My order was the taco pizza. (The menu photo and photos online of it had me craving it like crazy!) I went and picked it up along with 7 other orders. It was noon so they had their lunch rush happening and other takeout orders so I understood they were busy. The staff I talked to were all great to me. Even though they were runnin around like crazy, they all stopped to see if I had been helped and if I needed anything. They apologized over and over for my wait and they were all genuinely great to me. We were told noon to come pick it up and I didn't leave until 12:20ish. So they were definitely behind in the kitchen. However, the girl that I first spoke too at noon when I got there said my pizza was up there with a few other orders and they were hurryin to finish the rest. So part of our order sat for 20+ minutes. Let's just say that my taco pizza wasn't about that waiting life. I will be adding photos to this so you will see what I thought I ordered vs what I got lol. The flavor was decent tho. Everyone's food was in the bags with plastic utensils and sauces. They had the order completely right and I'm sure they would've helped me out to my truck if they hadn't been so busy. My personal rating: Service: 10/5. Taco Pizza: 1. Last night I decided to go grab a late dinner since I was stuck in town for the night. My waitress was great. She was super sweet, genuine, friendly, and assertive. I never felt like I had to wait for her, but also never felt like she was too much. Everyone I came into contact with last night were awesome just like on Tuesday, except all of them were different I believe. That's an awesome thing for a restaurant to have. Now my food. I ordered mozzarella sticks. 3 stars ish. They were the average frozen mozzarella sticks like you get at Applebee's. The marinara sauce was freezing cold, definitely not a fan of it like that, but the flavor was great and I imagine if it had been at least room temperature, I would be obsessed with it lol. I ordered the Scott's Burger. 10/5 stars for sure. It was cooked to order. (Medium). It was spot on. Tasted just like I had imagined or better even. I highly recommend you gettin this burger if you love bacon burgers. I'm wishin I had one right now lol. It comes with fries or soup. I asked for a tossed salad. The only thing I didn't care for with my salad was the plate it came out on. I had a lot of my salad landing on the table tryin to stab some lettuce. Good other than that. Side tip. Upgrade fries to the brew fries. They're so good!

    French onion soup yummy!

The food here was delicious. The service was ok, our server was friendly but it was very slow without much of a reason I could tell. It is a spacious place with exposed brick and cute decor. I would probably give 3.5 stars if I could.

My side salad thrown on the counter, after I said I didn't want as was brought to me after main dish was served

We called 1.5 hr ahead for party of 14. 1 waitresses to take care if us. She didn't know the system Yet, she claimed to be the manager. Food was not served cold, we didn't get condiments, drink refills and or even drinks. Side salad brought after main meal, when I said I didn't want it, she threw it on the counter and loudly expressed OMG. when I asked to speak to the manager, the bartender Lane, was a complete ass, rude, would not let me speak, basically in a nut shell said, shut up and sit down. The staff were HORRIBLE, rude! Tell everyone never ever got there!

When someone tells me that their (anything) in the State of Michigan is the best, there really should be a way for the diner to compare said "best" to other places. I do like the rolls. Very much so. But is the sandwich the "best"? I know of at least one place in Detroit that might at least share that claim. I still like the cold sandwiches and deli salads. The desserts are very good. And the burgers are good with a nice selection of toppings. Fries, tots, and chips are all available to order. The staff is very friendly, either in person or on the phone. The restaurant has a LOT of room in the dining area. Although I don't recall ever asking, it may have been two businesses at the same location, and at some point, the floor space was combined. They may not accept very large parties, like a business lunch, but they have the room for this type of gathering. I still recommend this place, and pickup/Door Dash is always available if you do not wish to dine in.

I was in the area for lunch and Lefty's sounded good. The Korean BBQ Hoagie and the Cheesesteak with spicy cherry peppers were my favorites. I ordered the cheesesteak, with fries, and some cheese sticks. It was delicious as always. Fries were crispy, cheese sticks were piping hot, and the steak was juicy. It was better than the locations by me because the place was cleaner and the staff was nicer. I was pretty shocked how good everything was, especially for a chain. Plus, it was busier than the old locations by me, leading me to think it wasn't a fluke and just good staff. I don't review places all that often, but it was just genuinely tasty and the other ones just didn't get enough business (probably because they were in weird tucked away spots). So that's why I felt the need to give it 5 stars.

The store is not as sparkling as in past visits. The staff not as receptive. The food definitely not up to par. What a terrible disappointment. Yes, this chain is currently in the middle of legal woes and massive store closings. Again, the food is decent, but not as great as 10 years ago. Even 5 years ago.
