My wife and I were shopping for a used vehicle for her use as our family's second car. From the moment we entered the lot we were happy we decided to make the visit, we were greeted by Jamie the lot's salesman who listened to what were shopping for and graciously showed us several vehicles. He patiently answered all of our questions, moved several vehicles so that we could view them better and take them for test drives and treated us with kindness and professionalism! While we spent a little over an hour and half test driving various vehicles we were introduced to the lot's manager Charlie who was equally gracious and patient with us, he told us a little about himself and the business and offered suggestions based upon our needs and truly made my wife feel at ease and confident that we came to the right place to shop for her next vehicle. We test drove several vehicles but finally chose a 2006 Jeep Liberty that my wife fell in love with! She loved the way the Jeep handled and she felt safe driving it and was very impressed with way Jamie & Charlie treated her by making her feel comfortable and not pressuring her to make any snap decisions. After a brief meeting in their office we discussed the cost of the Jeep and the fact that they offered an extended 12,000/12 month warranty on the vehicle but we had to decide if we could afford it. We left the dealership with the agreement that we would discuss it and get back to them with a decision soon. When I called back and told them we really liked the Jeep but needed help with the cost, Jamie & Charlie were able to get us into the Jeep at a price we could afford along with still providing us with the extended warranty!! These guys are GREAT and truly want to help their customers get a great vehicle for a great price with an extended warranty!! We are excited to pick up our Jeep and will definitely recommend North Shore Auto Gallery to all of our friends & family! The next day, when I was going to pick it up, it turns out he didn't fix most of it. He said to bring it back to him next week and he'd fix it. Ok... so next week, I bring it back, he keeps it for two days, and fixes only part of one problem... and did a bad job of it. This went on FOR WEEKS, taking it back to him, picking it up with the problems not fixed. The bottom line is, he never fixed the problems, and in the end refused to fix them, despite me having it IN WRITING that he would. He kept saying to me "But if I fix that, I won't make a profit on this car!" Why do you think I care about your profit? You shouldn't have agreed to fix the problems when you sold me the car if you weren't going to do it! But I just don't have then energy to take him to court, so whatever. I had my mechanic do the repairs right. This place is bad news. Avoid Manny's, they'll screw you over.

The price at which the car was being marked at was ridiculous, almost 20% below retail value. On top of that, he even gave me a fair discount. On viewing the car, the owner gave me a CarFax for verification. Some of the issues I had with the car were with the tires, and the owner replaced them with new ones soon after I picked up the car from the lot. And that too without getting it in writing (I'm new at this whole buying a car thing, its my first one) My only issue is that the car was not washed /cleaned when they said they would take care of it, but I am just nitpicking. Saving close to 3000$ on retail doesnt compare to spending 20$ at a carwash. In addition, they managed to find me really cheap insurance which is remarkable since I have 3 points on my record. Also, they found me a really good credit rate at 6.99% which is great considering I recently joined the workforce & am still building my credit. All the fees including inspection, registration, etc were below 399$. All in all, it was a seamless experience assisted with an owner with quite the personality.

Because the car market is now a national market, we really should nationalize what are now 50 different car registration requirement platforms, but I digress. At EVERY turn, Jeffrey and Audi Westwood stepped up big time and navigated those challenges in more than satisfactory ways. Jeffrey and Audi Westwood were very responsive, and nimbly and effectively navigated ALL of those challenges! Multiple times when I needed documentation that I did not have to address issues with the State of Illinois and the City of Chicago, Jeffrey got those to me immediately. They begrudgingly gave me a service techs car as the loaner, but had to put up a fight to get it. (They kept my vehicle for nearly a month.). Fast forward to yesterday, got a flat tire and called Audi Roadside Service at 8:50 am. By noon the tie company still wasn't there and continued pushing back the time of arrival. I tried Audi Roadside repeatedly for help and also tried Audi Westwood who were if no help. I was told by a Service Mgr that I should have picked the tow company to change the tire they would have been quicker. Requested another tow same issue. They took my tow but when another call came in they took that first and left me on the list even though I was assigned first. 8:50 am -4:30 pm waited for assistance to no avail. Finally had to call private tow who were great. Even plugged the tire for me. Today I tried to call to get an appointment have left messages. Crickets. No response. Which was similar to yesterday. They keep saying they will call back but never do. Awful service and Audi Westwood employees are not pleasant to deal with. Since when do companies think it's ok to not get back to people?! Major regrets!

Check-in, getting the car checked out and then learning that part is not in stock took 2.5 hours. Probably the last hour was wasted on a free car wash. Then the second trip was a record breaker. In and out in just over 1.5 hours. That was the fastest ever. They must have skipped the car wash, which I appreciate. Saving an hour is more important. Hey, you can get a free doughnut and coffee (if you come early enough) while you waste your time waiting for this slow operation. Thank you Meagan though - you were the only bright spot of the visits. It is still a disorganized operation, so I never would come here without a warranty issue.
