When one gets a tatoo one should take the time to research the artist, the place, etc. After its permament and its a lot of money lost if you are not happy with the end result. I called arounf several places. Asked for recommendations but after about 5 places this joint I found on Yelp. It was like a secret joint, no address, just call. I did and phone got answered right away by Felix. Said I wanted to come by for consult. He said to just come on by and he'd text the address. Sure enough after I hung up, the text came through. The shop had only been open 3 weeks by tattoo artists who were tired of being bossed by other shops. I showed Felix what I wanted and price range I was looking for. We agreed on a price and he had an opening a couple days later. People, please dont low ball your tattoo artists. There is a reason you go to them and not your friend who thinks they can draw. My whole process took 1.5 hrs. Felix kept checkin in to see if the pain was ok. He even add some cool shading I hadnt thought of. Out of the 3 other tats I have, this one did not turn red at all and not much pain. Only suggestion I have is have artist email the final creation for review that way change can be made without wasting the tatto transfer paper.. I got one more Im thinking of gettin and will be getting it here. read more

This was my first visit to this shop, but my fourth tattoo with Courtney Moore. I followed her from an old shop because she's just amazing to work with, and this tattoo was no different. I was there for 5 hours and every artist made me feel welcome - I even got a donut and a soda from the front desk . And all the other clients that came in for tattoos while I was there were equally cool - must be the vibe they're cultivating in there. Shoutout to Chesto LBC! Such a great artist and just super cool. It had been 20+ years since my last tattoo and I was so nervous. But Chesto was super chill and professional. He really goes the extra to make his clients feel comfortable. His line work is tight and his artwork is excellent! Go here for some good work, reasonable prices, and chill Updated review, I've been back again and I'm so excited! @ChestoLbc touched up a faded blown out 20+year old tat on my ankle. I can't believe I waited so long but I'm so glad I did. He did an amazing job. And it was worth the wait. He's my favorite! Both Felix and Chesto were absolutely helpful and accommodating. 1. Their response rate to my yelp message was on point! 2. One of the only places that didn't give me a hard time about a walkin appt. on a Sunday. (Some of us just wake up with the urge to get a tattoo on some days... ) 3. So lucky to have this place just down the street from me. I was searching for a place that showed sample work of really crisp wording, and this seemed to fit the bill. Was able to walk in and presented Courtney with a ton of information and my idea, she took it and made my idea come to life. It probably looks incredibly simple, but holds so much meaning to me and she 100% delivered. This meant her having to put up with my overly-meticulous requests, but also giving me honest feedback when I asked if I was seeing something that wasn't there (a line too thin, etc.) which is crucial. It emphasized exactly what I wanted and came out perfect. Will be back for my next ideas! read more

Dont go to this shop and if u do ,get what ur paying and what ur getting done in writing because Felix Perez is a liar and doesn't finish the work he's been paid for , its been 8 months and he refuses to finish what he promised. He a soft spoken liar and no a honest person. He just cares about money and not doing the right thing. It's sad this is what us as society call a Bussiness in Long Beach, Ca. Go to a reputable shop that deliver what you paid for up front and they never give u a recepit , I don't think they pay taxes on these tattoos that they charge hundreds of dollars. May also look into complaining to IRS and better Bussiness buro. read more

Felix at East Broadway Tattoo, was the only artist out of 4 different shops who didn't turn me away, or tell me that was I wanted was impossible. He took a picture of the tattoo that needed work and told me to come back the next day. He turned a terrible, super dark tattoo into a piece of art that I can proudly look at. He also gave me a great deal! I'll be back for sure! read more

This was one of the best tattoo experiences I've ever had! I requested a consultation with Casey. He texted me back within a few hours. We discussed what and where...I sent some inspiration pics. On Yelp, there are over 40 different "5 star rated" tattoo shops in the LA to Long Beach area that i chose from including Skanvas, Generation8, Rabble Rouser, Studio City, Inkfiend and more. I looked through each and every shop and what their artists had to offer and ended up with East Broadway Tattoo. Im so glad i did. Heres why. Shop is clean, their tools are clean and i loved the calming incense they lit at the shop. I strongly recommend getting tatted with Victor. He naturally put me into a comfortable mood and the trust was there. The whole process from getting the design right, all the way up to the execution was phenomenal. Customer service was top notch, a very talented artist and communication was clear and punctual. If you are into Anime and cartoons, he's done some awesome dragon ball tattoos before. This is primarily the reason why i went with Victor. I needed my artist to have some background with drawing up Anime. Check our his instagram @victor3two7 For everyone asking around prices for tattoos, let me save you the time and tell you. As far as I know from calling all the 5 star rated shops in the LA to Long Beach area, the prices range from $100-$150 per hour. Most shops have a minimum so even if you get a small 1 inch tattoo it will still cost $100. Victor's prices are extremely affordable for what he's capable of doing for you. I got my ears pierced, but noticed that the earrings looked very droopy. The technician said he put…read morelong posts on, in case they would swell. He said that he would change to a shorter post if I came back in a month. This was $150, plus tip. After a couple of weeks, the earrings continued to look ridiculous, as they appeared to be falling out of my ears. I called and explained the problem. They said I could walk in any time during open hours. When I did, they said I could get a "discount" and pay $63 to replace the posts that were too long from day one. This did not include the decorative part of the earrings, only the 1/8" posts. At no time, on the day of piercing, or on the phone call, was there mention of additional fees for earrings that were too long when they were 1st placed. If you want to pay a hefty amount and your piercings to look idiotic, here's your place.

Even just a simple suggestion or showing some willingness to help would've gone a long way. The attitude came off dismissive and unhelpful, which completely ruined the experience for me. Definitely expected more professionalism.

What I was recommended with my first daughter is to call before so I can ensure there were two staff members to do a double piercing. This time I made sure there was two staff members working at the same time before heading to the mall. Boy was it baby piercing day on Sunday. There were five babies before us but the wait wasn't bad at all. Kim was very patient and helpful with my daughter. She confirmed that my baby was calm enough for a double piercing. Most babies move their head back and forth so a double isn't possible. Kim also had to dot her left ear multiple times just because it was a little differently shaped than her right. We were able to successfully do a double. My daughter cried her brains out after for a little bit (as expected) but the simultaneous piercing experience was definitely better than the single ear. At least the pain was done in one punch. Loved how it turned out.

Your nail salon service comes with mimosa for those who drink (refill included!) She does accept Groupon if you want to save a few bucks. I did my gel nails $30 regular ($25 Groupon) It's by appointment only. You can text her. Appointments can be early as 7am on weekends or as late past 7pm on weekdays. Everything is extremely clean!! I cannot emphasize how clean and sterile it is! Bring your momma, your grandma, your sister, your cousin, shoot your brother too! You will love !! You will not disappoint!
