This has become one my favorite Italian restaurants! Everytime I get my nails done I pass by this restaurant and make a mental note that I want to try it. Well, I finally did! The restaurant opens at 4:30 and it's located in the embassy lakes plaza shopping center. It's not very big inside and reservations are highly recommended. I didn't have any reservations so I got lucky when I arrived at 6:00 and was able to get a table for two. Soon after the restaurant started to get very busy. I noticed the huge wine collection they have and how every table had either a a glass of wine or a bottle of wine. Immediately I knew then I had to try a glass. We started with the burrata Siciliana. This was not what we imagined but it was huge and yummy. I was craving soup so we shared the pasta fagioli soup. This tasted exactly how my MIL makes it! And then I got the Pappardelle with salmon and shrimp. I can still taste how delicious this was. Every ingredient was perfectly blended together with a flavorful sauce. It was cooked to perfection. All the meals were incredibly delicious and huge! At first we felt rushed to order, but that changed after we got our appetizer. Our waitress was attentive and checked in on us from time to time. Delicious food, great atmosphere at an awesome price. I had chicken parmigiana with Penne pasta. The chicken was tender and delicious. The portion was so large I had some to take home. My wife and I always share a pistachio Tartuffo for desert. Diabolically delicious desert!!! I always try to get an extra bite from her side. It is pistachio ice cream coated with hard chocolate and whipped cream and shaped in a ball. They require reservations, but if you get there early they will usually find you a seat. We have been going there for years and it is our spot for special occasions and any other time. read more

Although it can easily be passed by in the shopping center, you should make it a point to give this place a visit. If you want some of the best authentic Italian food around then look no further. The food is amazing, portion sizes are great & service is on point. I could recommend so many things that this review would be never ending. Their pasta dishes are phenomenal, especially the linguine vongole & frutti de mare. The seafood they use is super fresh every time & they load it up. You also can't beat a good ol fettuccine Alfredo, theirs is delicious. The chicken & veal Parmesan are also incredible. The marinara they smother it in is perfectly seasoned & the protein is never overcooked or dry. Whether you dine in or place a to-go order you're guaranteed to have an amazing meal. When I think of "supporting small business" this place instantly comes to mind. They've been here for so many years & that's not a surprise to me. My cousin-in-law Angela raved about this restaurant, so I had to try it. It's in a strip mall with lots of parking. The eatery seats about 36 or so inside a space that showcases all sorts of wine. The prix fixe menu offers a special price that is cheapest on Tuesdays and slowly increases through the week. It includes an appetizer and an entree. Dessert is extra. You also can get your special price to include wine. There also is a early-bird menu that is similar with each item priced individually (soups and salads at about $2-$3, desserts cost $3, entrees about $20). Orders must be placed by 5:15 p.m. and diners must vacate those tables by 7 pm. The prices add up to almost the same as the prix fixe menu, especially if you don't drink. We opted for that menu, especially because it offered veal marsala, one of my favorite dishes. Our server, Melissa, was polite, quiet, and sported a smile. On clearing the dishes after each course, she asked if it was to our liking. A small loaf of bread is served at the beginning of the meal, and we hungrily ate it all (after dipping it in some seasoned olive oil) as we waited for the first course. Hubby got bruschetta for an appetizer, and I opted for the pasta e fagioli soup. The bruschetta was tasty, even if a tad salty. The soup was good but I am spoiled by a version that has bits of meat. This one was traditional with pasta and beans and had a very savory broth. We skipped salads and ordered chicken piccata and veal marsala for our entrees. The plates were chock full. The piccata was perfection with lots of capers and a lemony sauce. The veal marsala was divine. This was one of the best marsala sauces I have had since I left NY in 1996. No gravy-tasting sauce here. It had a perfect wine flavor (not too little and not too much) and the veal was tender and luscious and topped with tons of mushrooms. I ate every bit of the veal but there was so much pasta that I took some home for a late snack. We tried the tiramisu and cannoli desserts. The tiramisu needed to be soaked in the coffee/liqueur more. It was a tad dry. The cannoli cream was delicious but the shell was very crispy and a bit hard to bite. Our early-bird meal with one appetizer, one soup, 2 entrees, 2 desserts, tax, and tip was $64. Well worth it. Next time, I plan to try additional appetizers and skip the dessert. But I will be going back to try anything cooked in that marsala sauce. read more

Five stars every time I come to Broccolini. They use fresh pasta and it really makes a difference! My favorite dish is the squirting pasta with seafood. I like it with the red sauce and the white sauce. They're both fabulous some of my friends rave about their chicken Parmesan and their eggplant Parmesan. I hope to try it someday when I stop being addicted to the squirting pasta I tell all my friends about broccolini because the food is so very good and the price is a reasonable service at times can be a little slow, but I don't mind because quality food does not have to be rushed. It's quaint inside. It's a little tight, but I enjoy being there. It's a great place for a date night. read more

Broccolini has specials, so if you get there early, you'll be able to eat a full course meal for a good price. The food is very good. I have never been disappointed. My friends and I ordered the Linguine Fruita de Mar. The seafood is fresh and the portions are huge. Be prepared to take some food home. They have a wide variety of foods to choose from. Pretty good food at this small family style Italian restaurant. Reservations are suggested due to its apparent popularity and limited tables. Once you enter you're already hit with the teaser garlic scent coming from the kitchen. Tonight there seemed to be only one maybe two servers who also doubled as host. Service was a little slow but helpful otherwise. The food really stood out. From the house salad (very fresh and palatable) to my grilled shrimp with white beans and potatoes. Very fresh, tasty with good flavor, and deeply warm. My sister got a mushroom ravioli which was also a hit. She was able to sub the creamy truffle sauce for something simpler (olive oil). Portion sizes are good for the price point in my opinion. You could dress up here, but I also saw older gentlemen in shorts. It's in a strip mall with good parking. Recently visited Broccolini in Cooper City with friends. Had a 6:30 reservation and was seated immediately. A small but well decorated Italian restaurant which felt very cozy and inviting. The waitress served water and bread with an olive oil dip which was very tasteful. We did have some questions about the menu as it is very confusing. It took over 15 minutes to get her attention then said will be with you shortly. We all ordered from the price fixe menu which included an appetizer and main dish. Two of us ordered meatballs AB's the other two ordered the Cesar salad. The meatballs were delicious and fluffy. The salad came in a huge bowl and was served cold. The salad was the best Cesar I have ever had. For the main course Terri had chicken parm large portion served with angel hair pasta cooked to perfection. My husband ordered tilapia piccata with angel hair which was delicious. Lastly my friend ordered chicken Marsala which was loaded with mushrooms and very flavorful. Over all the food was outstanding but the service was lacking. Two waitresses for the restaurant was obviously not enough. I would definitely recommend and return for dinner. read more

Friends told us about this and it has to be one of the best hidden gems out there. Tucked away in a small shopping center once you walk in you know you'll be in for a treat. Prix Fix dinner is amazing a bottle of wine, 2 apps, 2 mains, and a shared dessert. Started with the soup - A nice Pasta Fagioli Chicken Parm was excellent. Crispy chicken cutlet topped with a delicious sauce that's so full of flavor, just the right amount of mozzarella cheese ,and served with a side of angel hair pasta. Linguini Frutta di Mare - Linguini cooked with garlic and olive oil and served with clams, mussels, and calamari in a nice white wine sauce. Fore dessert we shared a cannoli. Broccolini has been on our list to try for quite a while. We made a reservation for 6PM for a Saturday night. Party of 3. The restaurant was half full. We were seated quickly and fresh baked bread was brought immediately. We shared a large Caesar salad which we all enjoyed. My only complaint is that they were very few croutons. The croutons appeared to be homemade and we really liked them. For entrées we had the chicken parmigiana, wild mushroom ravioli and rollata. The portions were generous and could easily be shared. Everything was absolutely delicious. We saw some spectacular desserts float by...specifically a lemon looking cake. I asked the waitress what it was ( it was the limoncello cake) and five minutes later she brought us a piece on the house. The restaurant itself is very pretty and on the quiet side. Broccolini is located in the corner of a quiet shopping center in Cooper City. The restaurant is on the smaller side with tables that are very close to each other. Their menu is quite large and a little scattered. There are specials throughout the menu alongside their other dishes, so going through it was a little confusing. There seems to be an additional charge for quite a few things, for example: they have a $4 sharing charge. Service was a little slow. I understand it was a busy Saturday night, but the servers didn't come to our table while a few of them passed it a few times. They brought us bread and sort of just left us there. Ultimately, we our order and it took about 30 minutes for it to come it. It was not fun. On the other hand, the food was good! The chicken parm tasted like I was eating it in someone's Nonna's kitchen. It was fried just to perfection and still crispy when it came out. The angel hair pasta was okay. My friends liked what the ordered. All of the food portions were huge, which is why they have the $4 sharing charge because one dish (depending on what you order), can be split between two. All in all, I may give Broccolini another try in the future, and maybe go on a weekday. read more

Our daughter and son in law chose Broccolini for our Mother's Day take out family dinner. We had 7 different adult meals. The food was ready on time. Our meals included three different chicken and angel hair dishes, linguine and clams, veal parm and a snapper with angel hair dish. Additionally eggplant rollatino and meatballs with ricotta appetizers were ordered. All meals were enough for a second meal the next day. The pasta was cooked perfectly, dishes were flavorful and well seasoned. The linguini and clams dish included clams in their shells as well as a sizeable amount of chopped clams. A package of Italian rolls was included as well as two containers of grated cheese. Everyone enjoyed their meal. Portions were large and prices very reasonable. I have only been there twice, but definitely will return again. A smaller sized very homey place it is.... the staff is great, we all agreed the food was delicious ( I got the veal parm.) And if there are larger portions anywhere else in town, I really need someone to tell me where that is. Recently we celebrated my friend's 103rd ( yes, 103) birthday there. The staff made it a very special occasion. It's sort of a tribute to the business, the clientele/guests there were exceptional, just about every one of them personally conversed with him and wished him a happy birthday. Went here for the second time. Best time I brought my two teenage boys. It was as amazing as the first time we all loved our food. My son ordered the pesto pasta with chicken and it was amazing. My other son ordered the vodka pasta also with chicken and that was very good. My friend and I came here around dinner time. We started off with the Eggplant Rollatino. For the main course, I got the Linguine Frutti Di Mare. My friend got Eggplant Parmesan. At first it was not packed, but within 30mins a lot of people started coming in. The tardiness of food delivery was the only factor leading to a star drop. If you need to return to work after lunch, this is not the place to do it. Although it takes TIME, the food is prepared as you want it, making it extremely fresh. The atmosphere is fantastic. It can be quite noisy. Parking is no problem. The eatery is located directly behind Pizza Hut. Overall, the atmosphere and food are excellent. The price is not bad. So I have had this place bookmarked for over a year now but never made it a point to dine here. Hubs and I have been staying safe and staying home throughout this COVID quarantine, which means we order take out probably once or twice a week. I have had Broccolini bookmarked for so long and we decided to take a chance on delivery. We ordered way too much food the first time but we also wanted to try different dishes. Hubs ordered the lasagna and I ordered the Gnocchi Piemontese. We also ordered the Rollata, which looked really enticing from the photos posted. Our entrees came with salad as well. Since we thought we would still be hungry (no, not at all), we ordered a tiramisu. Everything was so friggin amazing! Since we ordered via DoprDash, the app does not allow for requests so I was stuck with all those mushrooms in my gnocchi. The next time we ordered though, I called into the restaurant to request they 86 the shrooms and they did! We still have not made it to the restaurant to dine in but we plan on doing so. I am sure the in house experience is way better, even though the food was one of the best I experienced via delivery. The house bread was stale every time we ordered delivery but we didn't even bother past one piece lol. I mean even the salad dressings were amazing! The house vinegarette was so delicious! I have eaten here a few times and gotten takeout a couple times. The food is consistently good. And they give very large portions. I have had a side salad which is which is pretty basic. I have had the meat broth soup and that Is pretty tasty. The Emaliana lasagna Is good. That is saying a lot because I am picky with lasagna. It has a nice, even flavor and the meat does not overpower the dish. The chicken parmesan is delicious. The sauce tastes really fresh and vibrant. The spaghetti is OK. I love the penne a la vodka as a main dish! They give lots of sauce which is important to me. Sauce is flavorful, maybe a bit salty though. Just recently, I had mussels as an appetizer with a white sauce. The mussels were Luke warm which was a bummer. The sauce was kind of spicy and salty. All in all I still liked it. For my entree, J had Fruiti de Mar with Linguini. This was great. The red sauce was pretty good and the seafood was fresh. I had vanilla bean Gelato which was the perfect way to end the meal. Behind the old (now gone) Pizza Hut on Sheridan and Hiatus- there's this small Italian place that has a solid good and bountiful serving style ! It doesn't have a big sign out- you have to know it's there ... and a lot of people do! We got there and looked at the drink menu, sadly only wine and beer. They have a good wine selection, don't get me wrong, I was in a cocktail mood, so do your cocktails at home and get your wine here! We had a bruschetta appetizer that was tasty (but simple). Then the trays of food that were our entrees appeared. Oh dear. There was enough food here for 3 ! Per order! The food was bountiful, warm, good, it just lacked (imho) that quality that makes it remarkable. All in all a nice evening out at an Italian place. From here we went around the plaza to Bogarts for cocktails, fun live music and a warmer atmosphere to finish our Friday evening. read more
