This place has one of the best fried chicken's I've ever had! This was our second time going there and we made it a point to go back on our next trip to Savannah since we loved it so much the first time around! All of the sides were delicious and I really enjoyed the spicy Italian roasted oysters as well. I didn't love the potatoes and thought they were slightly over roasted and not seasoned as well as I would have liked them to be but I truly enjoyed all the other food. The service was great both times we went. The place itself is very cute and intimate! Perfect for a date night or casual dinner with friends!

The wine & oysters were fantastic here, the wasabi pea tobiko oysters were very light/refreshing (our server mentioned they were kind of a palette cleanser), and the caper brown butter oysters were packed with flavor. Didn't get to snag a pic but I also ordered the peel n eat shrimp and they were so good with a nice portion! Need to come back and try the fried chicken dinner forsure! Really chill atmosphere which was a plus. Would love to come back again whenever I'm in Savannah.

Brochu's was definitely a treat! I have heard such good things about this place and finally had a reason to stop in for a celebration. Even on a Wednesday night they were packed, so reservations are definitely needed. The staff were all super friendly and helpful. Everything was so good, those oysters and the chicken plate were amazing. My wife could not stop raving about the beans with the pork shoulder, it reminded her of being home in the country and like someone's grandma had made them. There's a parking lot directly across the street for easy parking. We will definitely be back for the 4 course meal.

Loud, vibrant place to check out. It's known for their fried chicken which was juicy and tender. It comes with 2 dipping sauces: gravy (which was bland) and a type of hot sauce. I wish their menu included mashed potatoes and Mac n cheese. The peeled shrimp was a bit too salty but still tasted good. Solid place for fried chicken but wouldn't say it's the best one ever.

Had a great meal at Brochu's. Loved the space which was open and loud. My salad is difficult to describe - full of seeds based protein and fresh greens. It was rich and filling! Our server was among the best I have ever had and everyone who worked at Brochu's seemed to be having a great time! I would eagerly return again!

Wow, great experience here highly recommend! Local bustling feel, comfortable and informal with more locals than tourists. Drinks are great with fun frozen options. But come here for fried chicken and oysters, both are delicious. The whole/half chicken come with grilled chicken breast - it's good in its own right but can't hold a candle to the fried chicken thighs which are juicy, extremely crispy and served boneless. It's up there with the best fried chicken I've had. Oysters are local, fresh and also delicious with novel preparations. Note only two oyster varieties so don't expect a raw bar tour there.

The whole chicken platter. Fun to eat and for the most part delicious.

Boisterous atmosphere with a bohemian vibe. Their version of a frozen strawberry Daiquiri came in a mug w/ a straw and was topped with freeze dried berries. Confusing presentation - but it was really tasty and refreshing. We started with some roasted oysters with brown butter caper sauce. The oysters were small but tender and delicious- the sauce was a nice accompaniment but we were expecting some whole capers which would have brought a nice briny and vinegary burst to complement the butter. We opted for the chicken platter as that what they were famous for. We prefer our chicken on the bone when fried, but their boneless thigh meat that they served us had an incredibly shatter like crust that was truly finger licking good. The charred breast meat was incredibly juicy and tender. My only disappointment was the side of gravy. With all those chicken pieces and bones, the kitchen could do a much better job at creating a deeply rich and decadent sauce. And a naked chicken needs some serious adornment to elevate it. My husband loved the sunchoke hot sauce and dipped just about anything he could in it. Chicken salad was well executed. The biscuits were nice but the honey butter just didn't work for me and without it this quick bread ate dry. Pickles were truly fresh, crunchy and delicious. But wow the sodium levels. In the end though, we had a good experience. Service was great, noise level high but the place was packed with good vibes and happy people.

The food was unbelievable!! The garlic habanero oysters were very refreshing with a little heat to it. The half chicken dinner was amazing. The fried chicken was very crispy on the outside and moist inside along with the charred chicken. The biscuits were very fluffy and soft and tasted like heaven!! The dirty rice is to die for and I could eat that everyday in my life. The ambiance was very chill and nice along with the service. The banana pudding was the best I ever had!! Will definitely come back here again

Brochus is hands down my favorite place in Savannah. Everything about this restaurant was outstanding, from the food to the drinks to the service. The chicken platter was absolutely incredible--the chicken breast literally melted in my mouth. The biscuits were pure perfection, and the sauce selection took everything to the next level. Between the rich gravy, the spicy sauce, and the honey butter for the biscuits, every bite was better than the last. Dessert was just as memorable. The eggnog crème brûlée was so unique and delicious, and learning that it comes from the owner's grandma's recipe made it even more special. On top of all that, the drinks were phenomenal and the service was warm, attentive, and welcoming. This place is a must-visit in Savannah, and I can't wait to come back.

Creativity is on point. Everything was quite heavy and salty on the seasoning though. It could go much shier on it and it would be perfect. Fav is the Jerk Oyster without eating the whole sauce lol.

Brochu's Family Tradition was recommended to me for fried chicken, and boy am I glad I went! They're located a bit south of downtown (20 min walk from Forsyth Park), so it's not walking distance to a lot of sightseeing, but it's worth the trip! The entrance is off of 40th street through a large fence. There isn't much signage, it looks like Google Maps is taking you to a nondescript building. They take reservations for tables inside, and the place fills up! Walk ins are welcome at the bar and outside on the patio, but again, it gets full quick! If I went with a group, I would definitely order a fried chicken platter -- the platters looked absolutely stunning! I got a fried chicken sandwich, and the chicken was amazing. Moist on the inside and crispy on the outside! The biscuits with honey butter were also a tasty snack. Despite being so full after my meal, I was convinced to try the banana pudding, and it was divine! Service was great. Vibes were fun. Definitely worth a trip while in Savannah.

What a fun spot with delicious fried chicken. We got the chicken platter so we could try a little of everything. We also started with some wings, dips, chimichurri shrimp, and potatoes. Everything was delicious. They have a great outdoor area as well. You go up to the window to order your food and drinks.

Fried chicken sandwich. Probably one of the best sandwiches I've ever had!!!

They are always impressive. These guys rock the food scene and the fried chicken. Got their maple bacon mustard wings and very delicious. Their sour hour still holds my wing heart!!! The service is always great and the staff care about their customers and how they enjoy their meal. The place is fun and their decor is great. Their wallpaper in the bathroom area is the IG picture for the place. They recently upgraded their outdoor seating area it looks amazing!! Definitely on the best in town you gotta try!!!

Been here for both dinner and lunch. All this said, I think my approach to this review is comprehensive. With regard to food, I think they have a decent (not expansive) selection of food, which I think lends itself to quality. They do most things really well. This said, I do think there is inconsistency based on staff at the restaurant. On one occasion they have accommodated a request, and on another I was denied the exact same request. I found this frustrating. On one occasion I've also seen management talk down to staff here, which is a big no no for me. All people (especially staff) are due respect and this rubbed me the wrong way. This was an isolated incident but it definitely made my dining experience uncomfortable. Especially because I was getting excellent service from the server!!! I've always had quality service from servers here. In the future, I would come to Rhett for convenience as a hotel guest (the hotel is lovely), but would likely not spend my money if I wasn't staying at the hotel. Overall- it's good food, decent ambiance... but there are soooo many good options in Savannah. You have to be exceptional to stand out in that city.

First, the setting is absolutely beautiful. You're dining inside this gorgeous historic pink mansion, and you can feel the history and richness of the energy throughout the space. There is something so special about being there. It feels like an experience before you even get to the food. And speaking of those biscuits, they were genuinely some of the best biscuits I have ever put in my mouth. I could have eaten an entire basket by myself. We started with the goat cheese artichoke fritters, which were delicious. I also had the Low Country she-crab soup, and heavenly is really the only word for it. Rich, creamy, flavorful, just incredible. For dinner, I had the pecan-crusted chicken breast with blackberry bourbon glaze, sweet potato with pecan vanilla butter, and string beans. It was so, so good. Every part of the plate worked beautifully together, and it was exactly the kind of Southern meal I was hoping to have while in Savannah. The service was fantastic, and throughout the evening we heard beautiful live music from some amazing singers. Between the historic setting, the incredible food, the hospitality, and the music, the entire evening felt truly special. Bravo to everyone who works there and makes this place what it is. What an exceptional experience. I genuinely cannot wait to go back.

The service by our waitress Kristen, who was also the sommelier, was top notch. She gave us great wine recommendations for the choices we made. She also gave us a picture of what was on the menu. We ordered the She Crab soup and BLT. The fried green tomatoes sold me on the Pink House's version of a deconstructed BLT. The biscuits are great for dipping not just a snack so be sure you help clean the plate with them. Yum. I ordered the Vidalia onion and Sweet potato ravioli with oyster mushrooms with pecans. It was the best thing between my wife and I. She had the fried flounder with a side of asparagus. Whole fish without the head. I thought the fish was delicious. Paired with the Reisling Kabinett, while the Pinot Noir Argyle went well with the Ravioli. For dessert I had the Pecan Basket. The vanilla with fruit in a pecan weave held the whole dessert together. The raspberry peach sorbet was delicate and sweet. Both desserts hit the spot along with the coffee to finish up the night. The light, tables, paintings and decorations were perfect for a romantic evening with your special someone or dinner with the family to celebrate a special occasion. Whatever the case, this visit capped a great weekend in Savannah and Tybee.

It's right in the heart of downtown off Congress Street and across from the Rail Pub. There is street parking, but being downtown, it can definitely be limited. I finally stopped in after dinner hours around 7pm on Friday. Since it was date night we ordered the raw tower, which comes stacked with everything under the sun: oysters, shrimp, snow crab, lobster and mussels. I also ordered scallops and asked if it could be prepared without butter because of my dairy allergy. The kitchen has no problem making them with olive oil instead. Super delicious! I enjoyed it so much that I came back the following weekend with friends. I made reservations online during happy hour (4-6pm) and we were lucky enough to be seated in the small back dining room tucked away behind the bar. Our server was wonderful and very attentive, and I especially appreciated that she actually paid attention to the allergy notes I included with my reservations. Of course we all ordered a dozen oysters each because they're $1 during happy hour and who can beat that? I ordered the scallops again because I liked them so much the first time, and around the table we had a mixture of lobster, mussels, dressed oysters, turtle cheesecake, finishing everything off with espresso martinis. Hands down delicious. The service was top-tier too. Our server never hovered, but somehow always checked on us at just the right time and made sure we had everything we needed. Two great visits so far and I'll absolutely be back to try more of the menu.
