Ordered a short stack of gluten free pancakes. Bill was just under $17 for 2 pancakes. The waiter wouldn't take my cash and said I had to pay at the front... wth?! Anyway, pancakes had to have been cross contaminated, I was sick almost immediately.

We are from out of town, so our daughter's in-laws suggested here for brunch. Located in a mall-type parking lot it was easy to find with proper signage out front. Located near Daiso. Plenty of free outdoor parking. Walked around to the front and as expected it was busy on a Saturday around 11:00 am. But with no reservation we got a table for four by the window. Busboy came by right away bringing us water, utensils, and our server was so cool when hubby ordered a Bloody Mary explaining that they don't have a liquor license so it's not made with vodka - they use rice wine instead. He still decided to try it and it was a perfect blend not too spicy but we could understand why she explained to us because certain Bloody Mary connoisseurs might have balked. We appreciated that. I ordered the "Mama" omelette with the fruit salad and biscuit on the side (it all came with). This is a Vegetarian omelette with lots of fresh ingredients. Delicious and perfectly prepared no need salt or pepper. Fresh fruit cup included blackberries, watermelon, cantaloupe and pineapple. Biscuit was excellent too. Coffee was good and water kept refilled by attentive bus staff. It's a fun atmosphere with not too loud ambiance and workers were friendly and happy! A good vibe all around and reasonably priced walking out with a full tummy!

We had brunch a couple weeks ago here, and despite waking up at a godless hour on a Saturday to sling Girl Scout cookies, our server, Jaehn, set a beautiful tone for the rest of the day. He made thoughtful recommendations, was great with the kids, and kept up a fantastic humor with a tired mom's banter. Thanks for making a rare meal out so enjoyable, Jaehn! (Took me forever to do, but I didn't forget you )

First time to eat here with my family. The host is very polite. Will definitely try other branches to try other food in the menu.

We like coming to Broken Yolk. We frequent either this location or the Carmel Mountain one. We never had a problem with parking. Going on the waitlist is very helpful for us we arrive right in time to get seated and not have to wait. The most waiting we've done is for the waitress/waiters - whom are super busy during the weekends. We usually go for the Meat Lover Skillet or the Meat Lovers Omelet. Their portion sizes have always been so hearty and filling for my husband. And quite filling for me while I'm pregnant. The omelettes are huge and filling. Staff has always been nice when checking us in, seating us, and taking our order.

Terrific food! Outstanding service! The Steel Cut Oatmeal had good texture, with plenty of blueberries, strawberries, and slivered almonds. I don't know why, but it was lukewarm, not hot -- and it came out first. Odd. The Avocado Toast was simple, but very well done with lots and lots of avocado. The poached eggs on top were perfect -- not an easy feat! The Mom Omelette was hearty, to be sure and very nicely done. It's a big portion -- almost shareable. Ample shopping center parking out front. We'll be back!

Because Draft Republic is a rough place to quantify. The food is pretty good; if going off that alone, this place would easily be four stars in my eyes. But, it's not ... Draft Republic is trying to be a bit closer to like a mini Dave & Buster's (a place I have come pretty close to loathing). With an arcade, a bowling alley, a golfing simulator, a full bar, pretty extensive menu, good music, and a fantastic staff, they really have a lot going for them with a little something to make anyone happy. My own issue deals solely with the cost. Came here with my son, all we did was eat two entrees and an appetizer between us, and did nothing else. With drink and after tax and tip, the cost was well over $90. No games, no play, just burgers (plus fries and poke tacos) for two, costs as much as many Californian's net after a full day of work. When you're used to feeding the whole family for about half as much when going out (or a little more when eating sushi), that price was a bit rough. Still, the food is very good. My son and I each ate The Draft Republic Burger. It was perfectly cooked, juicy, very flavorful, and the toppings were high quality. The fries were crisp and salted well. And the side salad wasn't too bad. Both of us ate our entrees and gave it high marks. We had started with the Tres Poke Tacos, where the Tuna was very tasty, steeped in a flavorful marinade, and felt nice and fresh. Definitely a good starter. And the restaurant itself is gorgeous. A lot of space, beautifully furnished, kind of industrial meets art deco with some new age greenery architecture thrown in. I like it a lot. But, as an aging Gen-X'er, who used to go to arcades back in the day, and hates what new arcades have become, the amenities are under appreciated by me. All of that pads the price tag a bit out of what I am willing to pay just for dinner. Which may not be fair to Draft Republic, but that's where it left me.

It was a bit spicy but not overwhelming and full of flavor. Wish I ordered a bowl instead of a cup. And last but not least, the BBQ pork was very good. Served on lettuce as well, so if you are doing keto you can omit eating the tortillas that came with the dish. It also had pickled red onions and a salsa. The salsa was mild and with everything in the taco, flavors were balanced. We also ordered 6 Cajun wings. But today, they didn't seem as flavorful, a pity really. A grilled cheese was ordered but with hamburger meat inside. That seemed good and it came with fries. Washed all of this down with a sour that was called Boozy Berry & my fiancé had a West Coast beer. Food was enjoyable, atmosphere was fun. We will be back again.

It's really nice to have a local brew pub in Escondido! I've been multiple times and really like…read moreit. Very open concept that has a modern feel to it. There is a nice indoor/outdoor vibe as there are some really big glass garage type windows that open (or close). The service has always been very prompt and friendly. I keep going back to their pizza's as they are quite good. I also suggest checking the special of the day as they usually have some pretty cool ones. They also have beer! Quite a few to be honest and if you aren't sure they are great at helping you figure out what works for you. For good food served by nice people in a clean and modern environment, this is the place!

Something feels off here. The vibes in this place are weird and looking into the yelp page…read moreconfirmed my suspicion. First off, Im 100% sure the owner here uses ChatGPT to answer all negative yelp reviews. Any business owner worth their weight is able to think for themselves and use their brain to answer unless they're completely illiterate or too incompetent to think of a good response. Second off, are they even a brewery? I see cans and taps of their own beer, but looking into the business, I dont think they own a brewery at all. This is more along the lines of a taphouse/pub. THAT BEING SAID, the food is quite nice. I think the pizza is great and it feels like they make and roll their own dough which is respectable and ambitious for a random little spot like this. But It is quiet...too quiet. The beer tender would constantly hangout at the handicap table talking to any co-worker with free time on their hands for a long time. Seems like a cushy job honestly. I'm assuming they would hold conversation with customers, but unfortunately There were no customers... its a ghost town, and i left thinking, "This place is creepy." I'll just pick up and eat the pizza at home next time. I'm waiting to see what generic CHATGPT response the owner gives me.

We tried Upper East for the first time on Mothers Day for brunch, as they had a special that…read moresounded delish and it's my fave, Crab Cake Benedict. The good: Great service from our server, lovely atmosphere, seated quickly on even on Mothers day. Salad and basil dressing were great. The crab cake was good. The unacceptable: The most important part of eggs benedict is the poached eggs, that means cooked whites, runny yolk. 2 of us ordered the dish, and of the 4 poached eggs, three were so overcooked, the yolks were hard boiled, crumbly and dry. I let the server know and asked that they just bring out new eggs, no need to remake the plate. over 15 minutes later, (so ow we had cold crab cakes) they dropped off a small plate with 4 genuinely undercooked poached eggs, they looked like soup. they were a literal puddle. The manager came by to ask if we had out eggs yet a couple moments before they were dropped off, we said no and he and said I'll take care of one of these for you. I don't expect free meals, and I rarely send food back, but this seemed pretty petty. Soupy eggs that took an extraordinarily long time (the restaurant was not at capacity at all). When I received the bill, there was a 15% discount on the eggs benedict. I get tight margins, but at least make the dish correctly please. The hollandaise sauce was good, the server very sweet and friendly (and of course we tipped him 20%, food is not his fault) but I doubt I would try this place again if that is how the rectify substandard meals. They did give me a lovely flower!

I can proudly say I have tried quite a few things on the menu already and have not been disappointed. I'd say at this point my brother and I have been here over 5 times. We even brought our parents here twice already. Once for dinner and once for breakfast. My brother and I have done breakfast, lunch and dinner at this point. The first item I tried was the Sun-Dried Tomato Rigatoni. This was so creamy and delicious (later found out you cam add another meat). Which my mom tried her first time around with Salmon. She said it was crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. From that first pasta, I tried the March Month Special, I got the chopped cheese with no cheese (lactose intolerant) but man did I devour it so fast!! There tater tots never miss btw ALWAYS crispy. The Grilled Chicken Sando, mannn was thay superr good too. Chicken was juicy and always love me some avocado. I told my brother I am going to make it a priority to try everything I cam here. Also, the presentation on the plates ESPECIALLY the Fresno 1/2 Chicken *chefs kiss* The service is NEVER misses. Soo attentive no matter the time of day. Tony's drinks are UH-MAY-ZING. We had Mckellen as our server and he was great. The biggest shoutout to James (the owner) seems like he knows how to create a phenomenal work environment and keeps his people happy. We've seen him walk around often and checking in. You can definitely see thay he cares. I HIGHLY recommend coming here if you have the chance. Also, try the Espresso Martini my brother who is far from a coffee drinker even loves it!!
