Tyler was most excellent, great service. The mom's omelet was huge, it was steaming hot and filled to the rim with onions, peppers and mushrooms. I got a side of fruit to take for lunch later. And a biscuit with honey. It tasted like it was made from scratch I love the taller tables as a shorter person. Makes it easier to sit up and laugh with friends. Maybe that's just how I see it, but I love the airy big restaurant and love that they have covered outside of you need it too. I love bringing friends here when we're in town. I'll be back for sure.

Located across the street from the Yuma Palms mall. I had never heard of them (guess they only have locations in AZ, CA, TX, NV, and ID. Wish they would open a location here in WA). They have plenty of parking in their lot, and lots of seating inside, great for large parties or, in our case, just my boyfriend and me. We were seated right away for being a busy place. It is casual dining, with plenty of TV's to keep you entertained. The staff was very friendly, attentive, and helpful as I had to ask if the water they serve is filtered, as I had water at the Denny's in the Foothills, and unfortunately threw up my breakfast because I am not used to the water down there, so I HAD to make sure. I did order some orange juice as well, which was very delicious and tasted fresh, just in case. My boyfriend ALWAYS gets a Chicken Fried Steak, and I got the Monte Cristo (anytime I see that on a menu, you bet I'm getting it). My boyfriend cleaned his plate, so I assume it was delicious. My Monte Cristo was soooo good! It had grilled ham, Swiss cheese, between two very thick slices of French toast, and was lightly dusted with powdered sugar and a side of raspberry sauce with a side of hashbrowns. Everything was so good, but I could only eat half sadly. The French toast was nice, fluffy, and custardy. The ham and swiss complimented the sweetness of the French Toast, and when you add a little bit of that raspberry sauce, chef's kiss! The hashbrowns were cooked perfectly. If we ever come back to Yuma, I'd come back here for sure.

It's been a while since we've been to a Broken Yolk and this one did not disappoint. The service was efficient and very friendly. The food was oh so good and the ambiance... let's just say I could have a conversation and hear the other person. It was a very nice breakfast. Thank you Julissa and team.

We went here on weekend afternoon for brunch. It was a full house, but we only waited about 5 minutes before next seat opened up. Service was amazing and quick. Inside was spacious and clean. We ordered the club sandwich and it was amazing. It comes with your choice of bread, turkey, lettuce, tomato, bacon with sides of pickle and choice of sides, which I oped in for onion rings. Overall the sandwich was flavorful and well balanced. The onion rings were fresh out the fryer, hot, and crispy. We also ordered waffles topped with bananas and whipped cream. This was my favorite item here. The waffles were so crispy and fluffy. Lastly we got the meat lovers omelet with hash browns and blueberry muffin. The omelet was a bit on the saltier side but still manageable. Blueberry muffin was not too sweet which I love and was moist. Hash browns were cooked to perfection. Overall great experience and hopefully to come back soon!

We came in due to passing through on the way to San Diego. Even though we were a party of 8, they were able to seat us. The service was good but I did have to ask for refills on water and soda... the only reason I put it down to 4 stars. The food was very delicious and came out quickly. The ambiance is good and the seating comfortable. We got the Monte Cristo, chicken and waffles, kids chicken, kids hamburger, kids pancake, and an eggs Benedict (forgot the actual name). Everything was very delicious

My mom and I were able to get seated right away on Thursday around 10. Our server covered a lot of tables but regularly checked in on our table. The food came out very quickly too. The smoked salmon avocado toast is a typical toast, but it had so much salmon on it. Definitely worth getting if you like salmon avocado toast. Chilaquiles is usually my go-to brunch order when I can't decide what to order. My sunny side egg was done perfectly and the carne asada was yummy. It's a large menu so you should be able to find something that interests you. At the end, you take your receipt to the front to pay.

Got stuck in Yuma due to car troubles and this spot was recommended. It was very clean, servers were kind and patient while we decided on our food. The coffee was good, the burger and the Caesar wrap were good. I got the steak and eggs with beans. The beans, eggs and toast were all great but my steak had so much fat and was burnt (I ordered it medium). I only ate about half. I didn't complain to the servers but I probably could have. Regardless we would come back to try something else another time.

Food was undercooked. Pancakes were still gooey on the inside, English muffins were not toasted, country potatoes and hash browns were not cooked thoroughly. Service was all over the place, waiter forgot utensils, cooks only brought out half my breakfast, then told me they forgot about it upon asking where it's at. I understand being busy but this wasn't it for me. Review is getting two stars for the coffee because the coffee. They make a good cup of coffee. read more

There are excellent brunch vibes here. My husband and I are new to Yuma and happy to have found this spot. The plates are enormous, and the drinks are great. The bubbly pour for $9 is crazy good. We will be back. The lemon ricotta pancake was lacking, but the cinnamon pancake was perfect. My eggs benedict could've been served hotter so that it didn't cool between bites of my pancake. This was our First time ever it was really good and our server was amazing. I had the new york steak and eggs with home fries. The steak was seasoned and cooked to perfection. The home fries were meh. Next time I will try the hash browns. My wife said the same thing about her home fries. She had the classic eggs benedict. She loved it. Over priced Denny's. I ordered the corned beef hash and eggs. What I got was greasy Hormel Corned Beef Hash out of a can. Not fresh made. The potatoes were under cooked and the peppers were frozen. Any stars awarded are for the wait staff and the coffee, who were both great. Front desk gets the razzie! We arrived with a pup, so we were told our table on the empty patio would be ready in 15 minutes (weird). We were called in and seated on the still empty patio 40 minutes later. I was ready to blow a fuse but kept a grip and remained polite. The meal was in equal parts okay and terrible. The steak was good. The fruit accompanying it was disgraceful. The grapes in the fruit bowl consisted of a single stalk, mostly picked clean, leaving a few small, old, shriveled, gross grapes that were immediately discarded. The rest of the fruit was meh at best. The biscuits in gravy were repulsive. The biscuits were a relic, dry to the point of dusty and tasting like the desert. The gravy was tasteless except for the overwhelming flavor of Italian herbs. Inedible doesn't begin to describe. I wouldn't herb a pasta with this much gusto. The corned beef hash bowl was okay, but undermined by a bed of potato discs that were either burned or uncooked. We were either crunching on raw potato or cremated potato remains. Someone please explain the science behind this. Coffee was very good. Pancake was okay. At well over $70 for breakfast, I will not be returning to the Broken Yolk. Expensive breakfast places are a dime a dozen and we are spoiled for choice, so, no thank you. read more

Put your name on waitlist to shorten the wait. We still waited 25 minutes. Looks like it might always be crowded which is a good sign. Food was great. On Sunday there was a cart with mimosas and beer which helps the wait. $5 mimosa, not great but made the wait nicer. Omelet with potatoes was delicious. Chicken and waffle hollandaise very tasty! Cozy and clean atmosphere great staff; that's about it. The food is so under seasoned everything we ordered was bland. Oddly enough the ordered was surrounded by warm eggs and almost cold vegetables. None of the flavors meshed well together. This wasn't limited to one dish every week ordered needed copious amount of salt just to get some flavor from The food. Unfortunately the food is just is just too bland to recommend this restaurant. I had high expectations as they have a banner that reads best breakfast in town. Even the waffles were underwhelming and they were covered in powdered sugar how can you go wrong? read more

My breakfast tasted like it was left over from two or three days ago, the meat tasted like it was old and just shy of being burnt and spoiled. . My wife's House Special was just shy of being burnt and almost not eatable. I remember going to Brownies Restaurant with my father in law in the 1990's and we always received a great meal. Our meals seemed not to be the same quality as before. The waitress was extremely nice and very friendly and attentive to us, kept the coffee cups full .

Chicken fried chicken dinner evaporated from his plate. The burger and onion petals seemed to have delighted the nephew. One of the ladies in our party seemed happy with her chicken strips, which were more than abundant! Another ordered a diet plate of some sort with cottage cheese and sliced tomatoes and was especially happy. A new item on the menu appealed to another. Louisiana shrimp skillet. Was flavorful, and those who tasted the nice portion of shrimp agreed that it was surprisingly delicious. The side, dishes of okra, and greens are always favorites. All of us commented on the new menu. Although we missed the old format, this one is easier to hold, and the print is bold enough that you're not needing to use your flashlight if you're older like we are. We are thankful that the menu has the old favorites, something new and that Cracker Barrel values its customers. It's such a nice thing to be able to travel and dine at any location and feel like your unfamiliar surroundings. But I wonder why is that there are so many locals who freely admit that they have never yet dined here? One maintenance issue... the latch on the ladies handicap stall door is STILL needing to be fixed! One issue with our visit. Not once were we offered refills on beverages.

I went expecting just an average breakfast, but the Menu was amazing! So many different styles of breakfast, there were your staples, and some really imaginative choices too. My girlfriend had one of the eggs Benedict's, but I,like spicier fare, so I had the Ranchero Skillet, which was Perfect. My girl never eats much, so I hopped over to her plate, and that Eggs Benedict was everything you want it to be, and then some! We started with a "Flight" of Mimosas (a rack of several different flavors of Mimosas) and That was a treat as well. The folks working there were very fun & easy to talk to. My girlfriends Benedict was "special order" and not only was it "no problem" with a smile, but they actually said they might talk to the boss about adding it to the menu! (Normal Benedict with eggs & Hollandaise, but substitute the ham, with a sausage patty). Fun, friendly, casual place. I've eaten at all the others before, but now, I'll head over to this place every time I'm in Yuma. read more

Hello Everyone! My name is Donnetta C, today was my first time visiting the "Broken Yolk Cafe " in Yuma Az. I was greeted by the Friendly Hostess and was put on short wait list. I only had to wait about 10 minutes before I was able to get seated at my booth. I had small mishap with my visit and once it's was brought to the Manager attention I was promptly taken care of. The food was good and the cocktails are great. The friendly customers service's and Awesome owner " Mr. Roy, and the Manager " Ms. Kay" and staff made my mishap into a wonderful experience and visited for me. I'm very glad I went . I'm so happy now my family and I don't have too drive too El Centro to eat at the " Broken Yolk Cafe " since we have one here. I am adding an additional review of this fine dining establishment, the Broken Yolk in Yuma Arizona is a must visit restaurant, the food is outstanding, delicious, and of high quality that you can taste. The service is phenomenal and you're guaranteed to get service with a smile and by knowledgeable staff. Our server Tyler was outstanding yesterday on Monday the 20th of April and provided not only quality service but, that of utmost professionalism and with great care and respect. Thank you Tyler for providing another visit to Broken Yolk that added to another reason why we dine there when we pass through Yuma on interstate 8. The atmosphere of the restaurant is always warm and welcoming to dine at and again great food and service and providing a calm place to eat and indeed warm ambiance. Five Stars - The Perfect Birthday Brunch! I couldn't have asked for a better birthday brunch than the one I had at The Broken Yolk, and it was all thanks to Casey and Chelsea! They went above and beyond to make the day feel extra special from the moment we walked in. Casey was so kind and attentive, making sure everything was perfect and offering great recommendations (seriously, try the chilaquiles!). Chelsea brought such an awesome energy--fun, and friendly . First time at Broken Yolk today and I was so pleased! They made our Valentines Day very special! The staff was incredible and the owner Billy was friendly, kind, and just so awesome! Out of all the restaurants we have ever been in our lifetime, this was the best experience! My husband and I enjoyed our food and drinks! My kids loved their food! My son was dancing in his highchair. Everyone was so sweet and friendly to them! Our waitress/server Britney was so sweet and amazingly on top of serving us! It is so family friendly, overall best service hands down. We will be going often! And to top is off it was so clean, you walk in and it's so clean and bright, also the bathrooms were clean. Because of heavy mid morning crowds, there was a wait time of 25 min. We were offered 2 places at the bar which was a great experience. Kelly, our waitress, chatted with us the whole time while serving 6 to 8 other customers, attentive to us all. She's so excellent at her job that several couples who finished and paid said so as they left the bar. We lingered and felt no pressure to hurry so others could get seated. Broken Yolk's variety of Eggs Benedict was terrific and portions were hearty with our choices of classic Benedict and the carne asada Benedict. I'm staying at the LaFuente Inn next door to the Broken Yolk.The hotel has a complimentary breakfast, which after 1 day I was looking for an alternative.I was able to walk, but there is plenty of parking and it is real close to I-8.The wait staff was very courteous and service was excellent...so was the food! I ordered the Monte Cristo club and it was cooked perfectly.I ordered a side of fresh fruit which was grapes,orange slices,watermelon and honeydew melon....nice variety!! I plan on having breakfast and lunch at the Broken Yoke over the next few days and wish there was one close to where I live(Redding, N.California, 100 south of the Oregon border) Thanks for the great food and great service!! read more

I love this place!! It is so hard deciding what to get everytime I go because everything I ordered before has been amazing (strictly speaking on the breakfast menu, I have not gotten anything on the lunch menu). They do their savory and sweet dishes very well. The servers here can get pretty busy but I have never felt neglected to the point where I'm upset. They are very good at refilling coffees which is always a plus in my book. The price is definitely on the higher end but as a once in a while treat this place is worth it for my family. read more

Went for brunch to celebrate our 10 year anniversary. We sat on the patio outside, which was beautiful. Our service was attentive and friendly, and the food was amazing! Unlike so many breakfast restaurants, the food tasted fresh and wasn't swimming in oil and grease. Great flavor, quality, and huge portions. On top of it, the owner was going table to table checking on every customer. He was friendly and welcoming, and when he found out we were celebrating, we got a mimosa flight on him. Today we had a Huevps Rancheros Skillet, Pumpkin Spice Pancakes with Scrambled Eggs with Cheddar along g with Hot Coco and a huge glass of OJ.
