They offer the little yellow chilis that make everything taste better. Im so glad I decided to try this place out. Been coming here since I was a kid in the 90's. They use to have arcade games and toy/sticker vending machines. Even though those are now gone the food and even some of the staff remains the same. Brolly Hut is a much loved institution in Inglewood. It has a cool Umbrella shaped building and umbrella shaped lights inside. My boyfriend and I like to take our classic car to classic burger stands all around LA and Brolly Hut does not disappoint for a Classic LA burger experience. The burger itself is the standard burger stand fare, it's exactly what you expect from one of these burger joints. The bacon on the bacon burger was quality and the fried Zuchini hits the spot. The chili on the chili cheese fries isn't as flavorful as some burger joints but still good and they use real shredded cheddar cheese on the fries. The staff operates with a friendly efficiency. The Brolly Hut has been around since 1970 and has unique architecture which I love to see still surviving. I think it's important to support these local landmarks and mom n pop shops. I've been going to Brolly Hut for a while now. I have seen it progress. I was introduced to it by a friend years ago. The food is absolutely delicious. I always places my orders on the phone and get their chile cheese fries with no onions and the cheese & bacon Avacado burger. I end up spending about $20 each time though. Kind of on the pricery side especially now with inflation. The ambiance is your typical hole in the wall burger joint, which I don't mind. Theres plenty of seating, and they do their best to clean all the tables. However, with good food comes at a price. Service, which is terrible now. The last time I placed a phone order, I asked the lady for a receipt and it took her a while to get it. I was standing there akwardly for 5 minutes waiting for her to figure out how to get the register to print a receipt. She asked for some help from another female coworker and she was rude to her and even almost raised her voice as she had to help her print one out. I understand if they were overwhelmingly busy and were annoyed to help her out, but I think you shouldn't make it noticeable in front of customers. 2 days ago, I placed a phone order for me and my boyfriend and I asked him to pick the order up. My boyfriend arrived with 3 Hispanic men waiting for their food as well. My boyfriend makes conversation with them and they told him that they placed phone orders as well and have been waiting for their orders for quite sometime. Then, a Caucasian woman walked in, got in line, placed her order and got her order in the span of 5 minutes and left. My boyfriend and the Hispanic men waiting got very upset since they haven't even got their orders yet and had to wait. And the lady didn't even have to wait a long time. She got priority. They said that the restaurant does NOT respect minorities even though there are minorities working there. I was shocked. Overall, the food is delicious but be prepared to deal with bad service. Brolly Hut has become my last resort because of its service and treatment of minorities. I support businesses who treat everyone equally and doesn't do favoritism. This business is not it. read more

We ordered a cheeseburger and two chicken sandwiches with fries and onion rings. The chicken was so juice and cooked to perfection... I really enjoyed it. The onion rings were crispy and delicious. I went here today with a buddy because I am a fan of Brolly Hut #1 on Crenshaw which is an OG soot I grew up on. My friend ordered a burger, I got a 5 wing combo (fries) & a pastrami sandwich just how I like it with extra pickles and mustard. I started with my sandwich and was immediately disappointed. Minimal flavor, bread was not fresh and just below plain overall, so I ate half and moved on to my wings. They were worse & underwhelming. So I boxed them up to go, and went back to finish the other half of my basic Pastrami sandwich. At least the fries were ok by the decor is old, and misses that classic feel. The Steak and Eggs here are FIRE. We had lunch here not long ago, and I was impressed with Brolly Hut. My first time here, and the fried steak and eggs reminds me of Texas. My son ordered chicken strips and fries, he paid with his Apple Pay on his phone while I was behind him. We waited about 10 minutes. However, a lady that was dining returned her fried chicken meal and said it didn't taste good in Spanish, they gave her something in return. His number 19 was called and he got his bag and we left. When we got home, he opened his bag and said they gave him a cheeseburger with fries but no chicken strips. I called back and spoke to the person that answered the phone, I explained the situation and was told to bring back the cheeseburger and they would make the chicken strips. I explained we did not live close to there because he goes to school and would not be in the area until Monday. She informed me they could credit me for the chicken strips but I would need to save the cheeseburger because the manager would want it back!!!! This was ridiculous! I told her I will not keep a cheeseburger for three days and carry it with me to work and then to pick him up at 2:20 to bring it back, she still insisted the manager will want it! I was trying to order a breakfast burrito. They put so much hash browns in the burrito that it's super dry. I asked for rice and beans instead. They refused to substitute, insisting that I pay an extra $3.50 for extra rice. The amount of rice is less than 20% of what would come in a side of rice. It's literally a spoonful. And still arbitrarily, insisted on charging the full amount. The lady taking my order was very smug and took delight when I said I'd take my business elsewhere. And they didn't come with the beans they told me would come on them. Only a little bit of cheese, sour cream, and badly chopped tomatoes. The chicken was also very dry. Visiting this establishment totally took me back to my childhood growing up in Paramount. My dad would always take us to burger joints like this. After 45 minutes of trying to figure out where to eat, we decided to support the locals. We ordered a couple of cheeseburgers, one horchata, and large fries to share. Although in my opinion, the fries weren't a large! I agree with other reviews that you can't go wrong with a burger and some fries. I've been going here for years. They honestly have the best burgers , best breakfast, best menudo in town . Everyone there are very friendly. Good food for great price .
