Went to visit family friends of mine and expected a friendlier environment. But the staff was rude and impatient.

The nurse to patient ratio is below standards many of the CNA's and help speak Spanish only! Which I have a problem with the requirement should be bilingual. The nicest part of this facility is the lobby once you go through the lobby doors it's a different story. Keith, who is the administrator Didn't have time to talk to a family member because he had an important phone call. I guess I know where their priorities lie. Certainly not with the patient. Also, my mom was supposed to have adequate physical therapy in order to go home independently however that did not happen and I applied for an appeal which was denied because the facility went from one day saying she needed more time to the next day saying she would be fine to go home and that she had met her plateau. Obviously there was a change in charting. Due to the pompous director of physical therapy who really lacked compassion. If you have another choice, besides this facility to put your loved one in choose a different facility!

Not only is the facility clean and beautiful but every single person that works there is the best of the best...especially the nursing staff. They truly care and they truly put their heart into taking care of our loved ones. Both of my parents have stage 4 cancer along with other chronic conditions but they have thrived here because they get great care and all of their needs are met. The proximity to TGH is a blessing. Between the two of them, there are quite a few medical appointments -- but the Allegro driver takes care of transportation. There have been a few times that they needed around the clock care and/or emergency services and the team at Allegro took care of everything or made care plans -- the communication is always outstanding and transparent. It is wonderful to know that you can trust them. I can't begin to express how thankful I am for the peace of mind they have given me and I have knowing that there is a great community of caring staff, a great group of other residents and so many activities and outings. Because of them, I get to spend precious time with my parents... instead of trying to be their caregiver.

I said something to the concierge and she rolled her eyes like this was normal behavior!), they LIE and they are simply highly inexperienced at their jobs and at life. It is like speaking to children when there is a problem, when we told them we were disappointed in my loved ones care (teeth not brushed, cold showers (a care staff told us the water temperature has been cold for days), talking meanly to them, loved one sat in feces and urine for hours and they lie and said that never happened. YES IT DID! We complained many times with no action and we have talked to other family members and they complain too. No action! UGH. Hire experience not children! My loved one was rarely bathed, was always wearing soiled undergarments and there was dried feces all over his sofa, carpet, toilet and bathroom floor. I usually found piles of soiled undergarments in his bathroom. He obviously never received assistance to clean himself. The smell was unbearable! I made the necessary arrangements to have him taken to the salon on sight, for haircuts, shaving and nails trimmed. I had to complain every week and send pictures of him to ever make this happen! The laundry is heaved into the closet or piled in the living room. I've shared pictures of his horrific conditions with the director every week! No one there cares! I've seen many residents being neglected, most recently a lady in a wheelchair begging for water for 20 minutes! They only want to rent apartments!

They would "check in" on my mother, but then not come back to bathe her or assist as they promised . She went 6 days with no shower. I had to call. The room cleaning was a hit or miss. Picture a reluctant teen forced to do chores on a Saturday, then you understand. The "gourmet" food was soggy salad, cold main course and veg cooked so long it was no longer green. The dessert was yum. It occurred to me the second floor dining room may get hot food as they are served first. so if you are there, go upstairs. I witnessed residents complain about the food, some "lucky" patrons had their food reheated via the microwave. The server assigned to the area I was in was so rude to a resident that asked for a straw (several times) that I asked her if she was alright. I thought a bad day was the reason for her surliness. She informed me she was fine and that everyone wanted her to fetch stuff for them. (Like do her job?!?) I am still waiting for my beverage (I had to pay 17.00 for the privilege of dining with my mother) This was sad as many residents gathered up to an hour early to wait my dining doors to open. The van, a plus for me I thought, to take mother to the doctor, was never available. Even with 3 week notice. No doctor trips, no grocery store. Just used for outings that you had to sign up for. Limited capacity. Her medication was crazy. They promptly took it all away, reordered generic (she had not used the brand new 3 month supply yet) and of course billed us. I was confused. I asked. Still confused. So many meds were ordered and reordered. Why?!? The pool, nope. Cannot use. No life guard. They were refurbishing the pool for access, never saw that happen...yet they failed to mention this on the tour. The bright spots at the Bridges were the maintenance guy. He fixed and repaired and was so nice about it. The lovely woman who did the laundry. What a blessing she is. Kind and sweet. So I took my mother out of there. She was losing weight, was unhappy, was unclean, I was having to clean her room and still taking her places. I was still missing work. I was assisting the assisted living facility. Care: she was inside and safe. Best I can say.

He has been in their great care for 5 months now, and our entire family is very pleased with all they do for him. I visit at many different times and find every team member of every shift to be compassionate and loving for all of their residents. Dad is treated with dignity and respect. The service attitude is modeled throughout the entire complex. The facilities and grounds are beautiful and well kept. I only have one negative -- cell service is spotty indoors, but that gives me more reason to take Dad outdoors to explore the gardens (and beyond).

For the amount of money they cost you would think you would get adequate care. They take his laundry basket to take care of his clothes and don't return it for several days. He ends up not having any clothes to wear until one of the sons goes to the desk to complain. Because he doesn't have clean clothes to put on, his bedding gets soiled and they leave it like that, so we know he is not having his bedding changed in a timely manner. As health care providers, it is their responsibility to make sure their residents are cared for with dignity and respect. Thankfully he has family visit several times a week to keep up with the situation, God help any resident that doesn't have family nearby. There is another resident that is allowed access to others rooms and he steals things from them. I would never recommend this facility to anyone who loves their family member.
