Went with some coworkers and thought it was decent at first. The music is typical 90s hip hop and rock, and I liked the lights. This is where my rating comes in: The place was 90% men. Also, I am a non drinker, but I have been to plenty of bars where they have a good selection of sodas and mock-tails. They only serve beer here and Diet Coke. I settled for the Diet. I then went outside to get some fresh air and since some coworkers had gone outside to get tacos. After less than 3 minutes I went back to the door where I was stopped and told they were at full capacity. The fuck? I was just in there. Apparently the initial security guard that let me in didn't give me a stamp that allowed for ins and outs. I then heard the guy who let me in the first time around, begin to mock me. Really cute. They then told me I could get a new drink after I went back in. Why am I going to waste any more money at this place? Finally I was "allowed" back inside, and some other random security guard handed me another Diet Coke right in my face while looking at the other side of the bar. He then turned to me and said "Merry Christmas!" So sweet of him, so I put the soda in my purse and left. It's sad that establishments like this hire unprofessional staff to represent them. I give one star for the music, nice bar tender, and the fact that we heard that some guy took a shit in the girls bathroom and got it clogged. LOL read more

This has been one of my favorite places to go for a drink since I turned 21. It's actually my and my friends' number one place to chill and catch up since it's literally the halfway point between all our houses which is a plus for us. It's only beer but they have almost any one you can think of. The best part are all the games and cool people you meet there. Definitely a great place to go for good time with good vibes. read more

STAFF IS SO DISRESPECTFUL!! I was there last weekend with a few friends, after a few drinks I go to the restroom I'm the only one in there. A women comes inside and begins to say she is next in line when there was clearly no one waiting but me! She said she was there first and just stepped outside to get toilet paper and that she was the bartender (a brunette, Latin female). I work at restaurant, I know it gets busy at times and you gotta to. So me, being considerate I let her go before me but I wasn't going to let her friend go because I was waiting in line and I really had to go. After she comes out she seems alright she began to talk to me and we even exchanges jokes. When she leaves I'm inside and I hear all this yelling "WHEN THAT BITCH IN THE RESTROOM GETS OUT IM GONNA SLAP HER FAT ASS HOW DARE SHE TALK SHIT TO MY FRIEND!" I was totally confused and got extremely upset. When I came out I saw two females standing outside and two men. I asked who was the person threatening to "slap" me and everyone stayed quiet. Mind you I was alone, and at any moment these people could have attacked me but I wasn't going to go down that way. I was so mad and began exchanging words. The so called "manager" came rushing towards me telling me to "GET THE FUCK OUT" not knowing what the situation was and not bothering to ask what had happened. He said he heard four complaints about me. That's crazy given the fact that there was no but the bartender, whom I allowed to use the restroom before me,and her friend. What a way to treat customers right? I tried to walk over to my group and get my stuff when he followed me continuing to yell to "GET THE FUCK OUT". It was so disrespectful. I have never seen this kind of behavior from manager. You should be able to calm the situation and listen to what people have to say. Not be an ignorant, immature human being. With that being said I would never go to this place ever again! I hope no one gets treated this way. I am in complete utter disgust with this place. read more

The best option I've found for a craft beer lover friendly dive bar in walking distance from my north Redondo home. Very clean with a nice group of young staff and patrons when I was there. Definitely a better option (for me anyway) than Thirsty Club. read more

I cant fatham how much i love this place. Good craft beers in bottle and on tap. They also carry a couple locally brewed beers such as king harbor,the dudes and smog city which are all great local brewerys. The staff is excellent with customer service and some good lookin babes behind the bar servin ya your delicious beer in a frosty ass mug. My new favorite watering hole for sure! Being that I am a local in the area, it's nice to have a place that is walking distance for a quick night cap. It's a fair size, not too small, with a pretty lay back vibe and there's a juke box for purchasing music to play although at times if no one feeds it there is an awkward silence present. Service is good, the staff are very friendly and know the selection of beer on hand so if you need some help choosing don't hesitate to ask. I would have loved to give this place five stars, but they disappointed me by not having a spirit selection. I love my beers but sometimes I crave a old fashion or gin and tonic. Or having a creative cocktail would have provided more of thrilling experience. read more

Brooklyn Bar - Who can say no to Bob's Big Boy - Sports Bars Near Me - Lawndale, California

So I am re-writing this to give it a more fair view. The last one was a bit biased but not off base. So the Brooklyn bar is actually a pretty nice place. You can tell they put a lot of work in the furnishing and decorating. Definitely makes it feel bar like. 1 star for having good pool tables that are decently level, and good cue sticks. 2nd star for despite not having a kitchen, they manage to hustle up a taco man who comes through certain nights of the week with a good price and a decent selection of snacks behind the bar. You can also put them on the tab which is handy. 3rd star for a nice selection of craft beers, including my personal favorite Sculpin IPA. The only reason this place is short 2 stars for me is because I feel like depending on who is working the service is a bit unfriendly at times and seem to lack the hospitable part even though it's the hospitality business. Unfriendly and accusatory employees in a business meant for the friendly is a sure way to lose money. While I personally will most likely not be coming here. That shouldn't stop you! Great place for groups as well. They have board games. They also don't serve liquor here. So no mixed drinks or cocktails. Decide for yourself! read more

Hands down the best dive bar in the South Bay. They do have a decent selection of beer as well and when they aren't too busy they can whip you up a bomb modelo chelada :d every time i go its pretty packed so i never get to play pool which is fine because they have tons of awesome board games like giant/regular jenga, mancala, connect four, dominos and so on. Really cool & fun hangout spot specially if you love BEER! Though they don't have well drinks their ample beer selections and friendly staff make up for it. They have nice sturdy tables where you & buddies can hang out & watch sports or play board games like Jenna, cards, dominoes (or you can bring your own!) The owner is there often and very friendly. Last time we were there he came ip to us introduced himself and gave us some nice quality BROOKLYN baseball caps. Really cool nice guy.
