OMG THIS PLACE. This has to be one of the best places on the pier. The staff are amazing. Me, my wife, daughter, and best friend came here on Sunday to hang out after having a not such a good time at Universal Studios. This was the highlight of our vacation. The staff were nice and attentive. My wife had about 5 margaritas because of how good they were. She stated that they made the margaritas tasty and well balanced. I had a Michelob Ultra and was happy it was marked up, it was $6 compared to $14 at Universal Studios. My wife ordered the sweet chili wings and she said they were really good compared to some of the wings she had at other places. My bestfriend, daughter, and I had the smash burgers and OMG were they good! They werent all crispy and burnt like other places ive been too. They were juicy and well seasoned. They were so good that I ordered a second one with a draft Pacifico. I highly recommend this place if you are in the area. The prices are very reasonable, the food is beyond delicious and possibly the most delicious food you will find on the pier. The interior is a bit small so be sure to show up in the afternoon to grab a spot if you are planning on staying into the night. Around the night time they have live music! What a pleasant surprise on a day off. I quickly walked by on a causal Monday and was surprised about how lively the place was. This is obviously a local favorite with a wonderful location right in the middle of the boardwalk. I sat having a mai tai watching the glass bottom boat load up with tourists. It was a fantastic experience. Service was quick and friendly the whole place was being run expertly by a single bartender. She was great. My friend and I were looking for a good place to watch the FA Cup Final. He's an Arsenal fan and I'm a Manchester City fan. We usually go to Fox and Hounds, but didn't have enough time to make the drive. I did a little research and realized there was a City supporters group meeting at The Slip Bar & Eatery, so we decided to check it out. Nothing beats the fresh ocean breeze, a brew, and football . We were the first ones there and were a bit concerned the doors weren't open yet, but the friendly hostess reassured us they'd be opening shortly. While we waited, City supporters started rolling in--and to my friend's delight, Arsenal fans showed up too, which made for an even better atmosphere. Once they opened, we were greeted warmly by the owner himself. We grabbed great seats right in front of the big screen, and from there everything just got better. The service was excellent, the owner and hostess kept checking in to make sure we were good the entire time. Drinks were on point too. We enjoyed a delicious Irish Coffee, a refreshing Moscow Mule, and some ice-cold beers. The ambiance was electric, everyone locked into the match, and every time City scored, the whole bar erupted. All in all, it was an awesome experience. Honestly, I'm even considering joining the City supporters group after this. I'll definitely be coming back to watch more Man City games here and to enjoy the ocean view from the open windows. Their smash burgers are so good. We've been here a few times and it never disappoints. Expect crowded and loud, but with fantastic views, friendly staff and good food...who care about that. Our "go to" is the hello chicken sandwich and the double smash burger called the spicy one or something like that (jalapeño and onions). Regardless the name, their smash burgers are great. We usually get a side salad with their delicious ranch and the fries. Pro tip...get the fries seasoned with a side of ranch and ketchup. The beers are fairly priced and their blackberry whiskey drink is a fresh delicious beverage. First come first serve, so don't get there at 7pm on a Friday night if you want immediate seating. I came to Slip for the first time on Father's Day, and it was the perfect spot for my dad. A chill spot by the beach, nothing fancy just good food and beer. Awesome location! Stopped here for lunch after paddle boarding. Started off with the mango mezcal margarita and the Honest Abe Mexican Lolipop to drink and the potato taquitos to snack on. The drinks were amazing!! The Mexican Lolipop is a habanero watermelon cider and might be one of the best ciders I've had. They have a lot of vegetarian options which I appreciate and you can add falafel or a garden burger to pretty much any of the dishes. We drove over an hour to enjoy some live music here by the water and we experienced probably the rudest service experience we have ever encountered. My lady ordered a tequila soda which was poured very light and she mentioned it to the bar manager on staff that it didn't taste right. He quickly poured her drink out and took her he would remake it but that she had better not come back up to the bar anymore. Take your drink, walk away and don't come back here. At that point from such a rude interaction, she kindly asked for a refund and pushed the drink across the bar. The man said, you can't have a refund, I don't care how far you drove, or who you came to see, GTFO HERE. I was appalled at the interaction and refused to even refund her money. It was a complete waste of time, effort and energy, and the owner of this establishment should be ashamed of the service or what we experienced as first time guests here. It wasn't a complicated drink, the simplest drink of all time, but it was such a great opportunity to make it right, and for less than 10 bucks, the crew at The Slip fell flat on their face. We're leaving after the first intermission of the band we drove over an hour to see, not because of their performance but because of the poor service of the bartenders, and bar manager here at the Slip. Ok the location of this var is phenomenal! The fact that it's a Bears bar is sad to me but only because I'm a Packers fan and the bears can go kick rocks. Now that I got that out of the way it was my first time time here because my friend and I wanted to go out to lunch! They have a full bar and are not dog friendly with the exception of service dogs. I loved where we had to sit since I had my service doggo with me, it was a great view and my dog loved that they didn't bother him. Our server's name was Regina! I ordered the Nada Colada but asked her to add rum to it, I had like 4 of these since I accidently spilled one. My friend had a Coors Light Pounder! Being a vegetarian I just want to say part of the 5 stars is because they still have the GARDEN burger. It is absolutely phenomenal and I got the sweet and spicy grilled cheese with a garden burger added and oh my god I think I'm in love! My friend got the Outlaw burger and thoroughly enjoyed it! I ordered 2 doggo patties to go because dogs have to eat outside of their restaurant, said Regina, and I want to thank the chefs for cutting up the patties! That was immensely thoughtful and I was very grateful they did. I told my friend I have to come back here for the sandwich I got. They're are very vegetarian/vegan friendly and the location is great. I've been to the Redondo Beach International Boardwalk 100x before and I can't believe this is my 1st time in this establishment. What caught my eye was the menu sign outside for the Spicy Watermelon Martini. I was sold. It was as awesome as it sounded. The place is loud like all the others around it. I had a friend visiting from out of town and he was staying at a hotel nearby, so it made sense to find a place near the Redondo Pier. I like a few places on the International Boardwalk and remembered visiting The Slip when they were serving up on top during Covid, so thought to try it again. Beer - yes, a great selection (Three Weavers Expatriate is a great one!) Food - yes, bar food but good bar food. I had a chicken sandwich with a salad and fries - delicious! My friend had a burger, salad and fries which he enjoyed too. Service was friendly and quick. What really made our visit fun, was Monday night karaoke and the awesome cast of locals that filled the space. No, I don't sing but it didn't stop others who couldn't sing from grabbing the mic and belting out a tune or two. My friend and I ended up staying a few hours longer, buying drinks for some "new" friends and having an overall awesome time. What a fun place! I'm not the biggest onion ring fan, but so crispy and can't go wrong. Service is pretty fast, food comes out in less than 10 mins. If you're a Chicago Bears fan then this place should be on your must do Mecca list! During a Bears game, there are no other games that exist and every TV is tuned into the Bears game. They blast horns when they score, the sing the Bears songs and the crowd are all die hard fans. The staff was pleasant and fun, but definitely stretched thin with the thick crowd. The menu is a good selection of items, the prices are very fair and the flavors were tasty. Not sure how busy it is when the Bears aren't playing, but this was the most fun I've had in a Sports Bar since pre-pandemic and if I lived closer I'd definitely frequent here more often. read more

Cruisin on our bikes and got a craving for a burger. Not too many burger options in the area but found this place on a quick search. Did NOT disappoint! My son and I shared the following and it was the perfect amount for us: Outlaw burger w/ side salad (5): Came out a little smooshed and didn't really look like other pictures but dang the flavor was still there. Crisp onion rings, nicely charred patty, soft bun, and BBQ sauce with some good flavor to tie it all together. Garlic Fries (5): Another hit! I normally don't eat all the fries but this one didn't go to waste. I also normally don't like the thicker style fries but these were just fried nicely where its crispy on the outside and moist on the inside. The garlic of course gave it a nice bite of flavor and wasn't too drenched in puddles of oil or anything. They had some nice IPA's on draft that complimented the meal well. Service was friendly, attentive, and with a smile. We sat with a nice view of the marina underneath an umbrella. Didn't have to wait at all. Everything just went well on our visit.
