    Chili burger

Came here on a Monday and am so glad I did for Chili Monday! I got their chili burger and it was absolutely fire. I wish I got one to go! Had good drinks and the bartender was awesome,

Their smash burgers are so good. We've been here a few times and it never disappoints. Expect crowded and loud, but with fantastic views, friendly staff and good food...who care about that. Our "go to" is the hello chicken sandwich and the double smash burger called the spicy one or something like that (jalapeño and onions). Regardless the name, their smash burgers are great. We usually get a side salad with their delicious ranch and the fries. Pro tip...get the fries seasoned with a side of ranch and ketchup. The beers are fairly priced and their blackberry whiskey drink is a fresh delicious beverage. First come first serve, so don't get there at 7pm on a Friday night if you want immediate seating. Trust me on this, just go there earlier than sunset, order a few drinks and a couple meals; and enjoy the scenery and people watching. Also, they have sports games on including the Dodgers

I'm a Bears fan so of course I have to say the local Bears bar is great! Drink specials, good food and a ton of fellow fans? It's perfect. Love the themed food names too - the Ditka dog was genuinely good. It can get super crowded but they bring TVs outside on the boardwalk to accommodate which helps ease the crowd overflow. Good times all around

I came to Slip for the first time on Father's Day, and it was the perfect spot for my dad. A chill spot by the beach, nothing fancy just good food and beer. The food was great, we were served quickly, and the service was attentive and friendly. The view of the water made the experience even better. I especially enjoyed the sesame salad I ordered. Overall, a great spot to enjoy good food, drinks, and stunning beach views in Redondo. Highly recommend! I will definitely come back if I'm in the area.

Awesome location! Stopped here for lunch after paddle boarding. Started off with the mango mezcal margarita and the Honest Abe Mexican Lolipop to drink and the potato taquitos to snack on. The drinks were amazing!! The Mexican Lolipop is a habanero watermelon cider and might be one of the best ciders I've had. They have a lot of vegetarian options which I appreciate and you can add falafel or a garden burger to pretty much any of the dishes. I got the sweet and spicy grilled cheese with a garden burger, really delicious and flavorful.

    Blinds in the kitchen windows.

It's in a great location if you are bar hoping on the international board walk. But I hesitate to eat there after seeing the blinds that are in the open kitchen windows. They are covered in dirt and dust. Makes you wonder.

Ok the location of this var is phenomenal! The fact that it's a Bears bar is sad to me but only because I'm a Packers fan and the bears can go kick rocks. Now that I got that out of the way it was my first time time here because my friend and I wanted to go out to lunch! They have a full bar and are not dog friendly with the exception of service dogs. I loved where we had to sit since I had my service doggo with me, it was a great view and my dog loved that they didn't bother him. Our server's name was Regina! I ordered the Nada Colada but asked her to add rum to it, I had like 4 of these since I accidently spilled one. My friend had a Coors Light Pounder! Being a vegetarian I just want to say part of the 5 stars is because they still have the GARDEN burger. It is absolutely phenomenal and I got the sweet and spicy grilled cheese with a garden burger added and oh my god I think I'm in love! My friend got the Outlaw burger and thoroughly enjoyed it! I ordered 2 doggo patties to go because dogs have to eat outside of their restaurant, said Regina, and I want to thank the chefs for cutting up the patties! That was immensely thoughtful and I was very grateful they did. I told my friend I have to come back here for the sandwich I got. They're are very vegetarian/vegan friendly and the location is great. I'll just have to wear my Packers gear next time around, but overall, 10/10 would absolutely recommend. Insane great food!!

    Spicy Watermelon Martini

I've been to the Redondo Beach International Boardwalk 100x before and I can't believe this is my 1st time in this establishment. What caught my eye was the menu sign outside for the Spicy Watermelon Martini. I was sold. It was as awesome as it sounded. The place is loud like all the others around it. The food looked really good. The service was excellent. If I lived in the area I think I would definitely be a local. I would definitely make this my place to bring friends and family.

Chef Pablo Ochoa is a gem. His weekly Monday BVQ specials are amazeballs. Changes every week, always great. And Amy behind the bar is sure to make you smile...

The epic view of the marina. Great to people watch, catch a game chat with other customers.

Such a fun, cozy Chicago bar. We go for the smash burgers and sweet potato fries. Ask for the skinny sauce, which is perfectly spicy!

Is there an open mic night?

    Are dogs allowed?

Do they have happy hour here?

    No! Only daily specials!

I can't find the wine list? Is Tuesday worth going for half off bottles if you don't know what they have and the normal price!!!?

The staff were friendly without being in-your-face-I-want-your-tips, but attentive at the same time with menus arriving quickly and fresh drinks timed perfectly. Food was delivered so fast I suspect that they had a bunch of game day standards pre-prepared to better deal with the game crowd. Regardless, the food was delivered fast. I had the buffalo wings which were crisp and lip smacking spicy - just as I would expect. Plump and meaty wings, and despite being an appetiser it was enough for me as dinner. The pilsener was a good match with the wings, and was a refreshing brew. I had three or four of them for the sake of quality assurance. Well recommended.

Wings, zucchini, hamburgers and tater tots. I have got to say.. the food here is exceptionally delicious! No complaints on the food. All was satisfying. The place has a ambiance like a tavern. Dark and cozy. Parking is a hit and miss. We came in a good time. Parking may be difficult on peak hours. If you use Google maps.. be aware, sometimes Google maps is retarded. As a first timer, Google maps got us driving around and around. Just remember that the bar is on Sepulveda and parking is in the back. Alittle frustrated. Lol Overall it was a good experience. They can work on their staffing for lunch hour. Maybe add one waitress to cover lunch time.

The interior is neat and clean. There are various types of seating (bar; table; booth; high-tops; communal), and plenty of screens to watch sports. On this occasion, I ordered the Tavern Fish & Chips ($22). It is described as "Alaskan cod coated in a tempura beer batter and served with French fries, tartar sauce and yuzu herb coleslaw". The positives of this dish are that it was prepared well. Both the fish and chips tasted good. The presentation was also nice; which leads to the coleslaw: The coleslaw tasted good, too; but I was surprised the serving was so spare. It's almost as if it was served just to optically balance the presentation in the basket. (See photo shared,) And while the price was not unreasonable, feel it's creeping towards expensive (relative to serving size). I'll attribute this to rising input costs. Staffing might be an issue during the lunchtime service. Service was okay, but they seemed to be understaffed. It's possible that most of their business is done after 5pm.
