I would give this place zero stars because of the owner and the way customers are treated. This does not feel like an LGBTQ+ safe establishment. The owner, Miguel, made patrons feel uncomfortable by confronting people in the restroom, misgendering cis women, and attempting to embarrass them in front of other customers. No one should feel targeted or disrespected while simply trying to enjoy a business. I do not recommend supporting this establishment. YOU KNOW WHAT YOU DID MIGUEL. I walk to Sports Harbour somewhat often because they usually have good bar food and always amazing service. Yesterday was no different when it came to the service--shout out to Marina for always being fantastic! She's one of the best, and her service yesterday was stellar as usual. BUT... there were **roaches**! Yes, you read that right. A live one that Marina had to kill right behind the bar. She was clearly embarrassed and even took the initiative to inform the owner. But did I get any kind of discount or acknowledgment? **Nope.** The owner didn't say a word to me about it. Huge shout out to Marina for handling it like a pro, but honestly, I probably won't be back for a long while. **BEWARE!** Drink here if you want, but don't eat. And whatever you do, **don't put your purse on the floor or the bar top!** **Two stars only for Marina's service.** The rest is just unacceptable. read more

Updated Review (2022): Came in last night around 8. Normal busy-ish bar, few tables in dining area and they left a little after we arrived. We sat waiting to order for a good while without any interaction (i.e. "hey guys be with you in a bit"). Finally had our order taken and ordered two beers to while we waited. Guy was base level nice enough but when he came back with change he ran away before he could receive the tip. Overall we felt unwanted and we were easily spending the same if not more than the people at the bar since we were eating. This isn't the first time since my last review that I've been here and the only good thing I can say is the blonde girl is the only one who has ever been nice and attentive. But still, every time, unwanted. Not that this means anything but they don't have to worry about me coming back to bother them, especially since they had the f*cking nerve to give me 4 chicken nuggets and 33 French fries and charge $12 (I said the same thing in my previous review when they only charged $9... I really wish I took a pic because it was truly laughable, like I ordered off the kids menu). If you're going to order food, I suggest ordering for on site dining so it comes in a normal sized plate and then asking for a container to leave. Also when someone blows up the bathroom it wafts through the bar and lingers which, unfortunately, we found your nose gets used to. Been living in redonda for about 10 years. I have always popped in n out of this place, but just about 1month ago I noticed that it was under new ownership ( has been for a while). She is deserved of every star I that am going to rate Sports Harbour. If you want to sit through an evening hard rock in a borderline divvy bar that is less than diverse, this is the place for you. We were the only table with mostly Asians... that is except for the one Asian creep that grabbed, shook my hand and called me brother all while trying to pick up on a couple of ugly chicks. The drinks were decent but they have to up their game on the food in order to keep up with the great food next door and with the sports bar down the street... ok they probably have to do more than that but be sure to keep your server, she was great. Torrance Food Crawl #110 Sports bars are perhaps best judged when major sporting events are playing up on the TV screens and you're with a large bunch of fellow fans rooting for your favorite team. I was there on a mildly rainy afternoon when there was nothing major playing and very few people were inside, so it was very quiet. But I was here more to try out their food than to check out sports so that probably was OK. The Cheeseburger was surprisingly good. It comes with a good sized meat patty and the cheese was melted on top of it. The lettuce and tomato were fresh. I got mine with added jalapeños which added a little bit of spice. The bun was a little on the small side but it too was just as good as everything else. With good portions of everything the burger was on the tall side so care needs to be taken when eating. Fries normally come on the side but I substituted onion rings. They were a little greasy as they were the style of rings that are on the soft side rather than being crispy. The rings weren't as good as the burger but still they were good. There also was a decent dill pickle spear on the side. If I was looking at this place strictly for food I would think it more average, but there are lots of large TV screens, service seems to be good, and it seems like it would be a nice place to watch that next upcoming big game and have some good eats at the same time. read more

I came here for the first time with my guy Tony and greeted by the bartender Christina. She was welcoming and recommended the house wine, Cabernet Robert Mondavi reserve. Excellent choice! I"ve been more into Craft Beer lately. That being said, I was happy to see some local IPA's on tap at Sports Harbour! Sports Harbour is a small dive located off 190th St. You may have walked right by it and not even known it. I think that's the way they like it. It's got all the textbook components inside: pool table, juke box, beer, TV's. etc. They used to have shuffle board, which was awesome! They opened up some food options with the joint next door. I haven't eaten there yet but it smelled delicious! The thing I liked most about Sports Harbour were the tables. They've had these huge fresh cut wood tables. They looked like they were pulled straight out of Yosemite. Super cool. Not a bad joint if you want to disappear and enjoy a cold beer. I ordered food which never came and when I asked the server where my food was, after everyone in my party had eaten and I had payed the entire bill and gave her a 20% tip, she was visibly annoyed, was very rude, and accused me of canceling my order and reordering something else which she was still waiting for. I didn't do this and up until this point had only had cordial interactions with her so I was really surprised when she became rude. My order was still on the bill when I payed it. The others in my party figured out that she mixed me up with someone else in my party, the same race as me, so I told her I didn't do that and she wouldn't believe me. I want an apology for her rude racist behavior. She doesn't deserve the 20% tip. There is no room for that type of behavior in the service industry. read more

Just drove by this place when I was working in town and I had some reservations, but man did this place surprise me in a positive way. Dave, the tall bartender with the ZZ Top beard was friendly and very attentive. I ordered a Sourdough burger and it was juicy and delicious. I'm on the road a lot and eat lots of burgers, but this burger was in my top 5, all time. I never give 5 stars, even to places I like a lot, but this place earned that 5th star.
