Brooklyn Boys has a great atmosphere overall, with cool décor, indoor and outdoor seating, and fans or heaters depending on the weather. The food is usually very flavorful with fresh ingredients, which I really appreciate. The only drawback for me is the night staff. If you arrive about 30 minutes before closing, there's an obvious feeling of annoyance and inconvenience from their tone and actions. One evening, I even overheard someone in the kitchen say, "I'm going to do this ass backwards because I don't want to be around them out there," which was concerning. Tonight I watched, a father and his children were told at 8:15 that the kitchen was closed. If Brooklyn Boys wants to stop serving at 8:15, that's their choice--but it should be clearly posted instead of advertising later hours. read more

It was delicious pizza. Lots of toppings. It is pricey, but for what you get, it's well worth it. They know how to make a pizza!

Atmosphere is pretty plain and our waitress was brand new but had a great attitude and worked hard to make up for her lack of experience but... went in with a party of twenty (they don't take reservations) and they seated us and got us drinks and everything came out on time and together. We all stayed with Italian even though they had sushi and Mexican etc etc. food was great! I rate places for what they are trying to be and not against other places of different categories so this is a great 5 star local small town Italian restaurant. Great food and service ! read more

This restaurant came recommended by a friend in the area. I was surprised by the looks of it. You would think that it isn't an Italian restaurant, but when you eat the food. It's simply amazing. My wife always judges an Italian restaurant by its sauce. And she loved it. So we knew the food was going to be great. We had a really good talk with the stepson of the owner as he was our server, and we learned a little bit about the restaurant . supporting local business is important. Are food came out hot tasty, with more of the tasty sauce for dipping. I know next month. Where will we take a large party to this restaurant after our event. I'm incredibly disappointed in the service provided by the restaurant tonight. The waitress was fine, but they literally closed down around us, turning off the games in tv, mopping and stacking chairs as we were trying to enjoy our food. Whoever came to speak with us was rude. We would've never come in at 8 pm except the website stated that they close at 9:00. Fortunately, I don't live in Keystone, where there are literally three restaurants to choose from. However, the family we were here visiting does- as does their large extended family, and they won't be back. What a shame. The food was good, but the attitude of everyone who worked there was absolutely atrocious. If I could give less than a one star I would! read more

Food. Spaghetti had oily sauce that didn't stick to noodles. Canzone, spinach and roasted red pepper; crust was good, baked perfectly, the filling was a strip of mozzarella next to, not on top of, a strip of ricotta, with 2-3 thin strips of red pepper and a too small amount of spinach pulled in the middle. Service. The staff was prompt, polite, and helpful, though a little too casual in addressing customers, especially we somewhat older folks. They were clearly ready to go home. Slamming glasses, plates and silverware when cleaning of a table. That cacophony coupled with the country music played through tinny speakers made the meal one to be tolerated vs enjoyed. Ambiance. While the waitstaff brought the food , iced tea and silverware out correctly, the general feeling in the place was I Don't Care, and customers being taken for granted. Been in KH for a year and finally have this place a shot. Decor is defo as described by others as Politically Incorrect, but I don't base my food options on politics, so not bothered. Mama and I both had a stromboli, hers was steak and mine was the Garbage. Both were good, but the garlic knots were the real star. Swimming in garlic butter, hit and fresh, and super tasty. They come with marinara but you don't really need it. Service was passable, with nothing to set it apart or give me a reason to complain. Food takes too long. We can make one at home and have it eaten before one even makes it to our table at this establishment. Last time it took 45 minutes to get a large pizza brought to our table and it wasn't even good enough to wait for! No thank you. Food was good. Had Stromboli. Kudos to cooks. Greek salad came late. Never ate it so can't review. Looked like a standard Greek so I'm sure it was fine. Group of 8 of us. No complaints from anyone regarding food. Waitress was new. Very sweet but obvious she was new. Despite our experience, we tipped her 20%. If future of this place has anything to do with service & attitude, don't expect it stay open for more than a year. Can't imagine people in that community putting up with it no matter how good the food is. Bartender was very rude. Some other guy working in there was a jerk as well. Spoke to manager & he could less if we were happy or not. Based on actions of employees, can't help but think owner must be similar or they wouldn't act like that. The online reviews said this was the best pizza in town. If this is true, Keystone Heights has a problem. The Domino's had better pizza, even though it received a worse overall review. We ordered a pizza to-go; 1/2 pepperoni and onion and ham and mushrooms on the other 1/2. The pepperoni and onion 1/2 was ok, but the pepperoni used was very spicy/hot, which was not to my liking. The onion was stringy and seemed like there was onion skins in the mix. The other 1/2 was terrible! The ham and mushroom side looked like the had dumped Spam on it. The toppings were not recognizable, because it was very finely chopped up. My husband said it was the worst pizza he'd ever had, and we've traveled the world, getting pizza in every county. Only been twice and the food has been very good both times. First visit they had smoked and then flavored chicken wings which were excellent. A month later the waitress informed me they are no longer smoked. Disappointed about this since I liked to get the smoked chicken wings and antipasto salad. I'll still be back to try their other food. Service is somewhat slow do to how busy they generally are. Don't expect to come in and out in 30 minutes. Atmosphere is relaxed and light. Third time we've been to Brooklyn Boy's Pizza/ The P.IG. In the last 2 months. The waitress's are great, love the atmosphere but the pizza is garbage. So soggy and full of water it falls right off the crust, have to eat it with a fork it's so bad. Very little flavor unless you have sausage or pepperoni. We thought maybe it was a fluke...$50 bucks later, no it's the way it's made, same way all three times, three different pizzas. Won't be back.... read more

Standing in line to order, you don't tell me to wait and take a bunch of orders on the phone to be put in before mine. Tell them to hold. Then when I ask to have my order put before theirs I get to listen to smart mouth comments from the back. Hit up this place on Christmas Eve for my first time to try it. They were closing early which is reasonable. They had the "To Go" area open and some folks eating outside on the picnic tables but their dining room was closed. Their menu look lovely and had Stromboli, lasagna, pizza and all the usual Italian foods. In addition they an extensive list for Salads, Subs, Hero's, Pasta, etc. A seriously good menu selection. We were barely greeted at the pickup area by a young girl with a graphic t-shirt. There was one other customer there and it seems she was challenged in the multi-tasker part of her job. Being new, no idea what was going on but I found the menu myself and looked at it for quite a while as she had a personal phone call, talked to the cooks and pretty much ignored us. She finally asked me what we wanted and she seemed annoyed with my order, had to talk to the pizza dough throwing guy for a solution but caught the whole vibe as very inconvenienced that we were there at all. All I wanted was a supreme pizza with some extra veggies added to the other side. We added an appetizer and, again, felt like we annoyed her. Asked for a beer or wine (aka alcoholic beverage) and she flatly replied that they could but we couldn't drink in the premises. What? Not at the picnic tables? Just really not understanding this because we wanted to give you more money but she wasn't helpful with the menu, conversation, explaining, etc. We paid and sat outside and joked that we would be lucky if she didn't come out and throw the food at us and you could bet there would be no napkins. She didn't actually throw it was abruptly sat it in the table and left immediately. Guess what? No napkins, no dipping sauce for the fried mushrooms. Pizza was good, mushrooms were eh. A guy at another table must have overheard us because he went to his truck and brought us back some paper towels. Overall, on a normal day, probably would be better service. As an employer myself, I would never allow someone to face my customers like this. The food was good, I will go back to try the other items on the menu but this visit left us annoyed simply because of this one employee. read more

I have always had good food here from the pasta to the salads. Their pizzas are good. Stick to the Italian things on the menu because I think that's what they do best. I highly recommend their garlic parmesan wings...their chicken bacon ranch pizza and their buffalo chicken pizza are also the absolute BOMB. We went there because I've been telling my buddies about them for absolutely ever and since we were pretty close, we did. While it wasn't a cheap bill, everybody LOVED the wings and pizzas we brought home. One person kept asking "where did you get this from?". Needless to say, I certainly WILL BE back, simply because of the wonderful flavors everyone enjoyed. If you're looking for cheap and quick, look elsewhere, but for great flavored pizza and some of the most banging wings out there, you pay for what you get. I've eaten inside a few times with my husband and he had calzone or stromboni and didn't like it because the innards weren't cooked at all, but I'll stick with my pizza and wings.
