Went there today for the 1st time. The place had a really cool layout. The way the bar and seating area was layout was cool concept. The food (I had the special of the day prime rib) really good. The whole crew cared about everyone there and they were slammed. If you go be patient it's worth the wait. Will definitely go back just to try more things I didn't get to yet! Not a very smart owner!! New in town, thought I'd try it. Called in an order. The first thing you notice is a GIANT "Brandon" sign out front, and then a sign on the door that says "diaper masks" are not required. How stupid can this person actually be?? Offend half your customer base before they even walk in the door. So..... had called in an order for a steak sub, and since I'm not a rude person, I still went in to pay for it. Worst steak sub ever. The meat tastes like that "steak-um" meat and was in HUGE chunks. The green pepper chunks were HUGE. Guess they don't have knives there. The onions were cut semi-ok. But the steak-um meat grease made the bread soggy as can be. The size of the sub was really big, so if you like your sub that way, then you will be fine. I like my stuff cut up in smaller "girl bite size" pieces. Won't go back ever. But owners of these small town places should keep their businesses a little more neutral and keep their political stuff at home. Would never recommend for either reason given above. read more

They would have gotten a higher rating if the service was better. Half of my table ordered and then the server walked off without taking the order for the other half of the table. We got her to come back and I asked the server what kind of beer on tap and she said we have 20 on tap but wouldn't tell me what they were. I tried to order 3 different beers and they were out. So I gave up and ordered tea. She brought the fried calamari out with French dressing and the gator basket had a salad instead of fries. I asked her about getting fries but she said the fryer was down. We had someone join the party after we ordered and told the server that she needed to order. The server said she would be right back and a while later she did come back but then told the person waiting to order that the kitchen was now closed. We also had to keep getting up and going to the bar and ordering drinks for our table and getting refills on tea and water because the server seemed to be clueless. As far as the food goes the Ahi tuna was spectacular and the dozen raw oysters were small but the flavor was amazing. The band was also spectacular! read more

Ok so I'm finally going to yelp while my blog(GenesisFoodFaith) is under construction ( and hopeful it won't take to long) So my Brooklyn Boys experience ... Ok first off I have been by it a hundred times and only been inside once at the old location when I had gone in I was really put off by the small dark lobby and that it was take out only, so like anyone like me I had left ( Oh Boy that was a mistake) We finally wanted to give it a try now that they had moved locations. The place looks like a little house which makes you feel like your going to a friends house it even has dine-out deck very cute and welcoming. Once inside you are greeted by the service counter area and then off to the side is a dinning room with maybe 10-15 or so tables. The decor wasn't really quite there yet the service area looks to be going with Yankee Stadium theme and the dining area seems to be Italian mobster theme which both are a work in progress but I think it's a great concept what throws me off the most is the outside deck area they have these tiki man sitting on the deck post which looks a little creepy (I think they should continue the stadium team outside but that's just me). But with all that aside we was there for the food and we ordered a lot of it. I will include pictures but we had two of their 10" pizzas garlic knots, and Italian fries. Since the start of meal was the garlic knots,it was exactly what I was expecting nor as big. I was expecting bread knots what we got look like biscuits and was covered and sitting and oil so I was a little taken back, a little too much garlic with a side of really great marinara sauce.I think they need to rethink that one (my suggestion would be based the biscuits with fresh herbs and oil and then serve the oil on the side not on the bottom of the serving dish) serving them separate out each thing to shine it's by their self they were great but serve together like that were not so good. So after the garlic knots we were served the Italian fries (not exactly what I was expecting I guess I had it in my mind to be thinking about french fries with a twist but I'm WEIRD) they were a garlicky plain cheese pizza cut into strips also served with a marinara sauce they were much better than the garlic knots, very yummy. Now we move on to the pizzas....... We. Got the meat lover pizza (for my husband) and the spinach pizza (for me since that I'm the vegetarian of the family) the, name meat lovers says it all it and since my husband is a man of few words about food all I got out of him "is that it was good" lol but it looked really good. The spinach pizza was OUT OF THIS WORLD and cooked to perfection. They put ricotta cheese on it that takes the place of the red sauce with spinach, mushrooms and tomatoes with mozzarella cheese it was ABSOLUTELY one of the BEST pizzas I've ever ate. This is a family owned and ran restaurant with great friendly people. We will DEFINITELY BE BACK and can't wait to blog about it on my website when the new construction is done it needed a facelift. Great food, awesome proprietors. Portions are generous and ingredients are fresh. We've tried at least 10 menu items and were not disappointed. The addition of outside seating and a bar were a great idea, as the inside is a little close for a claustrophobic person like me. The garlic knots are great. If you are looking for authentic New York style pizza, Brooklyn Boys is for you. Don't let the quaint exterior fool you, you don't want to miss this place! The portions are huge, especially for their relatively cheap pricing. Leftovers are expected! The service is always excellent. The wait time is slightly long, but it takes time to create art. The interior isn't particularly desirable, so I wouldn't recommend a date night here. Otherwise, this is absolutely the best place to get pizza in town. Much better than Pizza Hut, anyway! read more

It is bread with butter and garlic powder....some guy drove 100 miles round trip to buy these....yeah right. Brooklyn Brothers Pizza was recommended for great pizza. I went this evening and started off with the garlic knots which were the best I've had, then I had the medium buffalo chicken pizza. I can usually hold my own when it comes to pizza but tonight, I had to get a to go box. The pizza was bigger than I thought it would be and it tasted awesome! They also have a very nice selection of beers on tap. It was a perfect night for outdoor seating and the service was really friendly making you feel right at home as soon as you walk in. I used to really enjoy this place when they first came to town when they were in a small little strip mall location their pizza was excellent that food was always good.
