I am an island resident, this place is well needed on the island. The large is two meals for two people. Wife and I had the cheese burger White Castle pie. It was really good. I have to say -- "what happen to this place!" I ordered a meatball sandwich and it was the worst marinara that I have ever eaten. Too sweet and way too much oregano. Usually the pizza is good but this time we waited 50 minutes while the delivery person drove to the bluff then back to this island to deliver my pizza. I live a couple blocks from the store. Why can't I get my pizza first then go to the bluff to deliver their pizza? This way my pizza is hot, NOT COLD! When my pizza arrived it was the worst pizza I have ever eaten. The only meat on this thing was supposed to be chorizo but I think they forgot to add it. I paid $24 for a medium pizza with a tip and stripes pizza would have been a better choice. Again usually they are good, but this time I wasted my hard earned cash on a bad decision by me. I hope they fix their issues quick because it was good pizza at one time. read more

The pizza was awesome! The sauce is great, down to the pepperoni everything was delicious! My new pizza spot in town. It's very clean inside, they have a TV and their cheesecake is good delicious for $8 a slice. For a large Pepperoni pizza it's $17 and they offer military discounts. I'm not a huge pizza fan but they do have other options if your not either! The pizza though is surprisingly super tasty! I love the chicken pizza with the bbq sauce! DELICIOUS! We looked at the menu after a busy day on the island and the food on the menu made our mouths water. My wife called to place a delivery order and ask a question if there was a kid's pizza. The woman taking the order was rude on the phone. She placed the order anyway but refused to deal with picking up the order. #1 mistake , dont lie to customers. The girl on the phone said the pie company doesn't deliver. I pulled up at the building and the delivery guy was loading pizzas in his car. I chatted with him and I asked if they deliverex to my hitel and he said sure.The rude girl at the counter explained that it was too close to closing to get delivery. so that was Lie #2. I was two lights from the shop so picking up the food was no problem but don't lie to a customer about delivery, tell not just explain why delivery wasn't available. #3. I ask if the company offered a military discount and she said yes, but she already rang the order up. she curtly handed me the credit card receipt for a signature. If I wasnt so hungry and it wasnt 8:25 PM, I would have left the food behind. I was so excited about the food we ordered but even if it causes me to convulse from how good it taste, the girl at the counter ruined the entire experience. I'm so pissed that I am writing this review instead of eating the pizza. When I opened the food was what you expect from rude people that don't give a crap about customer service and wants to go home. I will chalk the $50 I spent at Brooklyn Pie Company up as a poor choice on my part, I should have Dominoes. I lived in New York and owned a Bagel Bakery and except for the fabled soup nazi on Seinfeld, this girl at the counter rates among the worst customer service in all of Texas. read more

This location actually has great food. My rating is based on my most recent experience. I was visiting Padre and had been once before and that encounter deserved a 5 star. I went in with a friend at 7:00 pm to order their garlic knots only. The young lady who greeted us asked if we were picking up and I responded with "no". Immediately, she told us that an order would take between 40-45 minutes and they closed at 8:00 pm. Her tone and expression said it all. I never had a chance to let her know what we wanted. We both turned and left. I am not a patron of establishments that will go in 30 minutes before closing and expect service, but this was an entire hour and we just wanted garlic knots. I have great respect for anyone who works in the service industry and try my best to always be mindful of their hard work. I would really have enjoyed those garlic knots, but I would rather leave than be treated like that. read more

After seeing that Brooklyn Pie Co had 4/5 stars we had to try it out. Everyone that worked there was very friendly and helpful.. And the prices were what we expected. You have to remember, It's not a Pizza Hut or Dominoes so expect to pay a little more.. Their specialty pizzas. With a 14" Mama Gallo Pizza and a beer and wine.. $27, not too bad! The pizza was very good (meatballs=mmmm) and their place is a little small but that's ok. We were going to get take out but found a place at the counter and it turned out to be a great time. We had zepolle with caramel sauce and fried ravioli. The zepolle was slightly over cooked on the outside and raw inside. I did microwave them when I got home to improve and make edible. Once they thought we had been waiting on our pizzas too long because it was crowded and there were so many orders so they gave us so free fries which were also great (and the wait was not really that long.
