It wasn't awful but certainly nothing to get excited over. Very overpriced for what you get, the crust is literally paper thin, not like any NY pizza I've ever eaten. The three young kids working there on Friday September 9, 2017 is the main reason for the less than stellar review. Some conversation should be saved for after work, it is a retaurant, not a place for inappropriate language and topics, it was loud enough for the Mexican restaurant next door to hear. Pizza was great!!! Didn't want the usual pizza chains so tried this place. Took exactly an hour to get to our hotel. Would definitely recommend and order again. Really just "meh". Completely overpriced (even for the island). The pizza is okay, but expensive. Some of the pizzas are just plain bad (like the Margherita). Their desserts are worse than something you get at the grocery store, but they charge $8 for a slice. Tonight we got slices of their allegedly fancy $8 cake with our takeout, but then got home, we found that they were dated a week ago and discolored at the bottom. They taste awful and cheap. $8 each for that. They charge $1.62 for a little container of ranch. The whole place is just disappointing, especially considering the outrageous prices. My main gripe with Brooklyn Pie on the island is with delivery. They have messed up my order so many times, it's literally a 50/50 chance whether they get it right. I'm actually surprised when everything comes as ordered. Most of the time, I will call to have items redelivered but have had times when I do nothing just because I don't want to take the time to deal with it. Somebody needs to have have better accountability with assuring their delivery items are correct, so this is likely a management issue. Their pizza is usually good. Their wings are also usually good, but sometimes meh/fatty/cold. Pizza can be cold sometimes as well. My advice is to focus on getting food orders correct and offer some kind of apology/discount/additional food item for not getting the food order right. I've never experienced a restaurant which errors so much. It's almost to the point of ridiculous. read more

The pizza was actually really good; however, the wings tasted like they were cooked weeks ago and hard with very little flavor. The ranch dressing that was with the wings I didn't even try as it was chunky which typically means old and no longer fit for consumption. The pizza here was definitely delicious. The online ordering was pretty straightforward. I really appreciated that they gave me napkins and paper plates to go. This was probably the worst pizza I've ever had in my entire life. I'm a New Yorker, born and raised. How do you manage to burn both the top and bottom of pizza and yet leave the middle completely raw?! This might of been literally the worst representation of "NY Pizza" I've seen in corpus. We've been here twice within the last month, and each time our order was delayed due to missing an item. Tonight, at least Margaret came out behind the counter and asked what we were waiting on, which sparked a conversation about how do we successfully order from this restaurant since a family member owns a condo nearby. We were informed that online ordering is bad, and its better to call in. I have to say we online ordered both times. We waited an extra 30 min after the estimated 45min online ordering time. Finally tried this place out this week. Wings are damn good. I am a wing connoisseur so don't you dare question my experience or expertise. Pizza was good as well. Call your order in and go pick it up. Grab a beer and relax while your food is being a made...great place to escape the wife for a few minutes!! This place will not be getting anymore of my business. I waited for an hour and half for cold pizza and garlic bread. I asked for new fresh garlic bread and the cashier told me that they were out. Really and pizza joint out of garlic bread, that's like saying that they are out of pizza as well. The cashier didn't have my name right on the order, and I even spelled it out for her. No wonder why she works at a pizza joint. This whole ordeal was totally unacceptable. Papa John has this pizza beat hands down and would have delivered it to me in less than an hour. read more

Ordered pizza for carry out here. Pizza was ready when I arrived and checkout service was exceptional. They offered plates/napkins, utensils, and red pepper/Parmesan. The pizza was delicious. Best pizza on the island. Sorry Padre Pizzeria and Island Italian, but this place has you beat. Heck I'd argue that it's the best in Corpus! Panjos is cardboard and Grimaldi's is too expensive, Bella Luna left the Bluff, but their center was always undercooked. Right now there really isn't a whole lot of atmosphere, but they are still new-but throwing NY swag and Yankees gear and Nets gear on the walls would definitely improve this aspect. One suggestion-get some plastic plates to serve with the pizza, these paper plates aren't tough enough. Aside from that, well done BPC! read more

We tried this place based on the reviews I read and I'm sure glad we chose Brooklyn Pie Co. for dinner! We ordered the Meat Lovers pizza and the garlic twists. The garlic twists have to be the best and most flavorful pieces of garlic bread I've ever had. They are so soft and doughy and best eaten when warm. The pizza has a unique flavor unlike that of your chain pizza restaurants. It wasn't super saucy which was nice and there was just the right amount of cheese and toppings. Everything looked and tasted fresh. Definitely the best pizza I've had in a while. And the staff was friendly so that always makes things better. I've never been to Brooklyn so I can't compare, but this place is definitely worth a try if you haven't been. I'll be going back the next time I'm in Corpus. read more
