This little place has super amazing staff and great pizza. We are new residents to the island and for the last 6 months we have had their pizza probably 7 times. We've eaten in and had delivery - always top notch and always great service from the person who answers the phone right down to the delivery man. Our guests have also raced about their pizza!! Be kind and courteous during vacation season when the tourists are here these small businesses are doing the very best they can and are most likely understaffed (who isn't!) just plan ahead and cut them some slack and I know you will love their pizza!! I ordered a beer for $3 & my wife had a soda for $4!!! Well we waited & waited. Finally upon asking the cashier after watching so many people Come in to pick up their orders; they told us they messed up our order by accidentally putting black olives on it and had to remake it. This was at 9:10pm they finally told us this AFTER closing. We ordered waaay back at 8:02pm lol. No offer for a refund? Instead they gave us two slices of cake from The fridge & said these are on the house sorry for that. Upon watching the two young cooks make the pizzas as we started watching to see if they were on it yet. We watched them make pizzas with their bare hands while wiping sweat from their faces & mouth.... I mean, he REALLY laid into the sweat in the clef of his chin & mouth with his fingers, and straight back to the pizza. ...Let's just forget we saw that because we've been waiting for over an hour for this magical pizza. We finally got our pizza at 9:25pm. AFTER They closed at 9pm. It was a horrible experience, we could have ordered Domino's and not left the hotel; we lost our sundown beach time; we were only here tonight. Worst of all; Even though the pizza was good; we forgot the red crushed peppers & Parmesan because they handed us the pizza upon closing the store, no one thought about offering it. We could have gone to H‑E‑B, bought a pizza & sides & drinks and baked it in the oven provided in our room; no.... We wanted to be served & taken care of with quality. Big mistake. We were on vacation and got off the beach decided that we really want us a pizza this place was not too far down from where we were so stopped in and the place was really busy but the service was great everyone was friendly and it did not take long to get our food especially with the crowd. We called in an order for an 18" meat lovers, a 14" cheese, and two orders of Zeppole for dessert (donut holes with a hint of cinnamon flavor that come with caramel and chocolate dipping sauce) for four people; we could only eat half of this. Pizza could be 3 star, but was undercooked. Doughy despite thin crust. No browning on cheese or top facing crust. The bottom looked OK, some browning. Fantastic pizza. I walked in and the kitchen smells were just 'right' for a pizzeria. The garlic bread was delicious, the spiral cut steak fries were delicious, and the pizza was think and crisp, but not as thin as some 'NY Style Pizza' is. Pretty good pizza, the wait wasn't too bad either. I asked for spinach to be put on my entire pizza but they probably put like 8 leaves of baby spinach. I wish there was way more ingredients on my pizza, it just seemed a little dry. The crust was the best thing about this place. It tasted buttery. I have eaten a Brooklyn Pie Co many times and loved it. This was our first time ordering from this location. We ordered a cheese pizza, a specialty pie and some wings. It took almost 30 minutes past our order pick up time to actually get the order. My husband was there waiting so long he went back up to ask about the order and it was suddenly ready but who knows how long it sat there. The cheese pizza was awful. It barely had any sauce or cheese. The bottom of the crust is what I can only describe as dirty. Like they're pizza oven must really need a clean. The specialty pie was so heavy and the crust was barely done. It was also somehow wet. The wings were soggy and the didn't include any dipping sauce. What an absolute waste of $50. Great pizza place while visiting Corpus Christi for the weekend. My sister and I were heading to Port Aransas and stopped by Brooklyn Pie Co on our way for some much needed sun. We ordered a 16 inch pie with all sorts of toppings and shared the pizza. We also ordered the garlic knots, delicious. The pizza was excellent but they added green onions instead of green peppers to my sisters half of the pizza which just tasted weird, so we picked it off. Customer service wasn't the friendliest, but I can definitely foresee ordering again to pick up and bring pizza to the beach again. read more

This was my third time ordering from this place and once again, it was a HUGE waste of money. The only reason I did today was because my co-workers wanted to go there for lunch since it was a slow rainy Sunday. So we ordered 2 large pepperoni pizzas, an order of fried pickles, and an order of pepperoni sticks and two of us went to pick it up. The only edible thing was the pickles. The pepperoni sticks were so burned, they were inedible (see pic). The pizza was the same. It looked fine on top but once you pulled off a piece from the whole, you realized the entire thing had been burned--totally black--on the bottom. It was like biting into burned cardboard that had been dusted with mozzarella. There was no sauce to speak of and the cheese was paper thin and topped with one to two 1" pepperoni per slice. I wish I'd have taken a pic of the pizza before I left work but didn't. We paid $60 collectively for this incredibly disgusting meal that not even half my co-workers were willing to power through. And I'm not surprised because this has been the case EVERYTIME I've gone to Brooklyn Pie. I will never be stupid enough to order from them again. read more

Came for a long weekend to N Padre Island and saw this restaurant was newly opened. My husband is from Brooklyn, NY originally so he wanted to compare pizza. My daughter and I ordered a 14" white pizza with spinach and ricotta. My husband ordered a slice of cheese. The slice my husband got was HUGE! He said it was very very good and was able to fold it over like a pizza pro! The white pizza was plenty for me and my daughter and was fabulously wonderful. The crust and all the toppings were so fresh. We try to visit the island each summer, we will be keeping this fantastic spot on our list of "must-eat" places! We ordered tonight in Corpus Christi TX at 8:06pm. At 9:36pm I called to see where the pizza was, two 18 in pies, and was told our pizza had ripped in the oven and had to be remade. I asked if they were still cooking and she exclaimed, "he's pulling them out right now". I asked how long it would be and was told 7 min. When the extremely high looking driver showed up with the pizzas I asked if both pizzas had been remade and he said yes. I'm a chef. One pizza, the pepperoni, is charred and burnt, and the other a farmers was undercooked. I asked for a veggie pizza and this was super disappointing...and underdone. A huge ripoff for $55. Local. Gourmet. Fresh. Fast. I discovered Brooklyn Pie Company on yelp while driving down with my family to padre Island. We made a quick phone call 20 minutes outside of town and ordered a large pepperoni pizza. The pizza cost $17 and we were told it would take 20 minutes (convenient). I was a little skeptical of the previously mixed yelp reviews but, boy; this pie did not dissapoint! I've eaten a lot of good pizza in my day and to me a good pie is based on four main factors: dough, sauce, cheese, and cooking method. I could immediately tell that they were on point for the first thee factors; the ingredients they used were high quality and extremely fresh! The dough was crisp, the sauce was light, and the cheese was a chewy mozzarella bursting with flavor. Also, the crust was super thick and almost felt like a breadstick reward at the end of the slice. The pizza itself is cooked in a large gas oven typical of most New York style pizzerias. The the 18 inch pie was filling and proved to be more than enough to feed our family of four. This place is also famous for selling their pizza by the slice for $4.50 plus $1.00 for each topping. The slice is about 1/4 of an entire large pizza! The restaurant opened in November of 2014 and is located just to the left of La Palma. The decor is very raw and industrial with a full view of the kitchen area and oven. This establishment is counter service with a plain dining area of approximately six tables. Ambiance was not too exciting. I would recommend taking the pizza to go, the beach is just 2 minutes down the street. I agree that this is the best pizza on the island and beats the pants off of Island Italian.
