Although the cheese calzone we got was delicious, I was hoping to get, and expecting many more pizza options. The "Brooklyn Pizza" name is extremely deceiving. It's Kosher & vegetarian... and I would have loved a good sausage & bacon pizza slice. They have pepperoni, but it's veggie pepperoni. While we were waiting 4 customers came in to pick up orders and every single one of them was wrong. They had to remake a bunch of stuff and the owner was out on the floor apologizing for the mistakes. At one point my girlfriend turned and asked "Did we order it to-go?" Instead of going the safe route and having a simple cheese pizza, I decided to have the Boro Park Pizza which had bbq sauce and crispy fried onions it. Very different and very good. Brooklyn Pizza is down the street from my house. Thought I'd order, I've heard good things. So I ordered via App, showed up to pick up my pizza. They didn't have any of the toppings I ordered and instead I went home with a stale cheese pizza... I'm pretty sure it was just sitting there. It was definitely over baked, cheese was burnt, and I only ordered about 15 minutes prior, no way it could have been freshly made. Sad to say i was disappointed. read more

I am giving this place one star solely on the fact that this pizza shop has no commitment on its hours. IT IS NEVER OPEN. It's a shame because there pizza is actually really good! But whenever I call either no one picks up or they pick up just to say that there closed. They are rude and disrespectful when I simply asked them on their website they are suppose to be open till 9pm. They just hung up on there customer or they said they can be open whenever it works for them. Than don't own a shop. You won't retain any customers. I am never going back there I don't care how good there pizza is. I cannot take a man talking in that tone to its customers. This has not happened once it has happened a hand full of times. I came to see what the hype was and honestly, I can't believe we hadn't been here before. We were a party of 6. We all ordered different items. The food temperature was on point, and delicious. We didn't wait long for our food and everyone was attentive and friendly. Let me tell you the pizza variety and flavor were the best. We recommend them. We will be back!! read more

Pizza was decent. Staff very nice. Could have put a little more of the toppings that we requested. Computer is set up to always request tip when you sign for the charge. The only truly authentic NY style pizza place in Denver... the pizza is great, and the employees are rude as hell, just like in NYC! Note that if you walk in without realizing this place is kosher and order a pepperoni pizza (as I have done many times without a problem in literal Brooklyn) you WILL be laughed at by employees and customers. I was excited to see a new pizza place was opening and I had high expectations, but its nothing like I Love NY pizza down the road @ Holly. I finally decided to visit and it was very cramped inside. It was hard to navigate past the line of tables on the way to the soda station. Oh and then I waited around at the counter to order and wasn't greeted and then when she finally got time said "what are you having." Ordered just a slice to give it a try and a small drink and was told you don't get any refills do you want the larger size, said "no" what's the point when the soda station is accessible, don't get it, but I thought that was way cheap. The pizza was mediocre and nothing special, not really NY pizza that you need both hands to handle or fold. Sauce was bland and I left thanking myself I only got one slice. Very good pizza, especially since they have anchovies. The guy behind the counter said the crust is GMO free, I hope this is true. It would be an added bonus if the cheese is organic! Wish we would have read reviews first. It's a kosher place, which is totally fine, but we were really craving pepperoni pizza! So not to seem rude we still ordered the large veggie pepperoni and cheese bread. Order was $30+ for two items. My husband and I had indigestion all night and the pizza all in all wasn't anything to rave about. Sauce was flavorless, but cheese bread was decent. After picking up some beers at the local liqour store in the same shopping plaza we stumbled upon brooklyn pizza. The store is small inside, with maybe 5-8 tables. The choices for slices were simple. We ordered a couple of slices of cheese and a Sicilian style, which was essentially a personal pan pizza. This store is apparently kosher, from what we were later told, but still tasted fine. The cheese slice was very thin with little taste. The Sicilian slice was actually quite good, so I would recommend that. Overall the pizza itself was really basic and not something I would go out of my way to order again. read more

Amazing food with a very creative menu. The owner is truly exceptional and will stop at nothing to make your Brooklyn Pizza experience world class. As far as the food goes I must say that the portions are plentiful and and the prices are definitely low for Denver Vad standards. I can't believe the Vad requires a mashgiach temidi for a dairy restaurant, it behooves me. When all is said and done you will be hard pressed to find a better kosher restaurant in Denver. So oily you can't eat the pizza. This place is crowded and has very disrespectful workers. I won't be returning here just because of the younger rude service. They use a very slow POS called Touch Bistro and took almost 13 minutes just for her to get the IPAD to work almost as bad as dial up. When she couldn't get it to work as she asked me if I had cash. Then gave me an attitude when I wanted to pay with card. This place is not worth your time especially to eat. I felt like an outcast eating here. read more
