We usually sit down and have an idea of what we are going to order for the children and they took our order and were quick in giving us their food first. We ordered the chicken parm that comes with spaghetti and the chicken pene Alfredo with an app of the mozzarella sticks. All three did not disappoint in flavor or portions. Portions are easily shared if you want to share with someone. The mozzarella sticks were crunchy and the cheese pull was there! The marinara served with them was delicious and a good complementary to the flavorful sticks. The chicken Alfredo was delicious and I loved that it included some in season veggies which help feel less heavy. The chicken was juicy and tender. The chicken parm was phenomenal! The chicken was juicy and flavorful and crispy. The spaghetti was perfectly cooked and perfectly coated with sauce. Everything was well balanced. We also ordered the kids spaghetti and meatball and our toddlers loved it! Safe to say they might be getting this every time we come. The service we received by our server was worth noting. I wish I could remember her name; she was friendly, attentive and helpful in answering our questions and input. We noticed how friendly and engaging the owner was to all the customers; checking on us, making sure the food and service we were getting was up to par which is always nice to see an owner really care about their customers and their experience. What a special gesture. My son died almost six years ago to cancer, and Mother's Day is tough. I made a reservation for an early dinner during HH on the Friday before Mother's Day and went with my bestie. Our server was super attentive, and as promised, I did get a hug and a free entree from the owner. We were also served free breadsticks with marinara sauce before ordering. Zane's has a popular HH daily until 6:00pm and after 8pm, with half-price apps, wines by the glass, cocktails, and draft & bottle beers. How can you go wrong? We split the Italian Egg Rolls, which were filled with ricotta, mozzarella, pepperoni, and sausage. It was tough to decide what to get for my entree, but I was stuffed from apps, so I went with a personal pizza and took half home. The Prosciutto Provo had a good char on the crust and just the right amount of toppings. We were seated in the back area in a booth next to the wine rack. The bar seating fills up quickly, but HH is available throughout the restaurant. Thanks again, Zane's, for making this bereaved Mama feel special and not so lonely on Mother's Day weekend.

This is a good Italian restaurant tucked away in a residential area, but don't overlook it. You start off with their herb-dusted bread and olive oil and your choice of the daily soups, and then your entree arrives in a large portion, so you'll have plenty to eat here. They even bring you a little mini ice cream cone at the end with your check. Prices have definitely creeped up over the years here, as a few entrees now crack the $50 mark, but I think we're all used to that everywhere by now. The strip mall has a funky one-way traffic flow so make sure you are paying attention when you pull in or out, but otherwise this is a pretty easy place to get to, and reservations are a good idea during peak dinner hours.

One of my favorite appetizers to share is their frito misto--a platter of lightly breaded calamari, shrimp, zucchini, and artichokes with their delicious spicy marinara. When our server shared that one of his favorite dishes was the spaghettoni, my friend and I decided to split it. Delicious dish with roasted eggplant, fresh mozzarella, and tomato sauce, Alla Norma.

They also have a covered patio area for the winter time that you can see through the top part of the ceiling so it doesn't feel claustrophobic. Our first guy would awkwardly bumble around us and get very close to refill our waters, and the second guy took away one of our plates without asking if we were done and the person was still clearly finishing off her food.
