Plain cheese pizza and 10 wings blah
    W Austin M.

Wow that was trash. I ordered a plain cheese pizza well done, 10 hot wings and a Diet Coke. Simple right? Not so much... pizza hardly had any sauce on it, tasted bland, wings were decent size but not a bit of sauce on them. They forgot my extra - Diet Coke was the best part of the meal! Lol at least that was cold. I won't be ordering from here anymore.

Using my credit card on Saturday November 18 I placed an order to deliver my granddaughters pizza at approximately 8:20pm. When my granddaughter called me saying she never received the pizza, I immediately called Brooklyn Pizza and spoke with a man who never identified himself to ask why. He initially said a woman named "amaris" (sp) picked up the pizza. I told him that my granddaughter nor her babysitter knew any woman by that name nor did either receive the pizza. Both had been eagerly awaiting the pizza and were sitting outside the apt and never saw the delivery. The man then said, (with a nasty attitude) "ma'am we never got any order. What was the name of the order?" I gave him my name, my daughters name. I then gave him the number of my order which I was looking at. I then asked him again "who is Amaris" because I heard you ask me initially who was a woman named "Amaris" that picked up the pizza he then said with an even nastier attitude,"ma'am I'm telling you nobody here even placed an order you need to find out door dash or whoever placed the order because we don't have a way to track orders." After researching Door Dash told me they could see the order was placed by my husband as a pick up and someone named "Amaris" picked up the order at the restaurant Brooklyn pizza. I then called Brooklyn Pizza again. This time I spoke with a woman. She told me "there are only 2 of us and none of us received the order nor did anyone pick up a pizza." I then asked her who was the other employee who sounded as a male. She then said "oh yes there's a male but he didn't receive an order and he didn't sign for a pizza." She offered to contact Door Dash & call me. After speaking with her, she said Door Dash needed to speak with my husband, and I because there was some misunderstanding. I called Door Dash again and they again said "Please contact your bank because we are showing Brooklyn Pizza made the pizza then wrote that they (Brooklyn Pizza) would deliver the pizza and did but they did not write what apt they left it nor did they state that they actually delivered or who received it. Please call your bank immediately." We then called Brooklyn Pizza. A man, the same man I spoke to the first time, answered and immediately he was nastier... indifferent as he again repeated "we never received an order...while, "yes we got other orders but none of them using your name...none of the orders we got even sounded like a order you made so I don't know what to tell you. Call Door then." I asked him his name. He then hesitated then said "I'm Edward." I asked his last name. He refused to give his last name. I then asked the name & contact of his supervisor. He said verbatim "I'm not giving you my last name and yeah I'm the manager...I'm the only person on over everybody so they're nobody who can talk about you or what happened so I'm the only one who can do anything." I told him I found that hard to believe and due to how indifferent, nasty and obviously dishonest he has been behaving from the first conversation, he knows he messed up BOTH orders and knew, especially, the second order after Edward knew the unnamed female employee told me how to place the second order from their website brooklynpizzatally.com and did. Now both of those orders $31.78 and $24.10 ORDER # 1E2860B4 Nov 18 7:21pm 22.55 ORDER # 7117A533 7:03pm (pickup) never delivered to my granddaughter. At 11AM Sunday: My granddaughter & babysitter notified me that the neighbors saw the pizza left on the ground in front of the apt door of a vacant apt. sometime after 9pm Saturday. They did not remember seeing a delivery person. First off, both employees affirmed they had not cooked or seen an order let alone acknowledging they delivered a pizza yet witnesses saw the pizza in a Brooklyn Pizza box. Today at 2:41pm I have not heard from Brooklyn Pizza once. I need BOTH charges reversed. Immediately.

I love New York pizza so I decided to check Brooklyn pizza out. I sat down to dine in and place my order right away. I ordered mozzarella sticks and a slice of pepperoni pizza. I had to wait a long time for my food. The mozzarella sticks were decent. The slice of pepperoni pizza was pretty good in comparison to New York pizza. I heard they have a great lunch special! I'll be back to try out some more menu items.

Wanted a break from the holiday food and went to a "go-to" quick meal - pizza and wings. We wanted to try a different pizza place this time and chose Brooklyn Pizza (for delivery). I ordered the veggie pizza, which included mushrooms, tomatoes, broccoli, artichoke hearts, and eggplant (a bit different from the usual mushrooms/green peppers/black olives/onions veggie pizzas). My husband ordered the steak and cheese sub, which was quite sizeable. We also ordered buffalo wings. Everything was good; will definitely plan to order from this place again. Next time, I will try the Spinach and Feta pizza!

2nd time ordering from here. Super fast delivery. Pizza is not your run of the mill fast food pizza. It's really good. Best pizza I've had since I've been in Tallahassee

The pizza was delicious. Definitely, New York style! Friendly service and good place to sit down for a bite to eat.

    Medium calzone with 2 toppings.
    D F.

I gave the Uber eats delivery person a bigger tip because I felt bad since they had to deliver this box of disappointment. A medium calzone is thin, which I didn't know was how some places view this item. It wasn't mentioned on the menu. The mushrooms were still wet and had the distinct taste of the can they came from, showing that the calzone was cooked just long enough for the bread to be done but not long enough to cook everything inside. For 15 bucks I should feel moderately full, which I'm not.

Large Hawaiian pizza, needs more pineapple and ham, crust needed to cook longer.
    Jay G.

Looking for a new place near our home, we made the mistake of ordering here. The medium 2 ingredient meatball Calzone looked very good on the surface but upon further inspection the meat was lacking, there was more cheese and onions than anything else, and it looked like they thinly sliced 1 small meatball. Next was the large Hawaiian pizza, although it had good flavor, it was lacking in pineapple and ham and the crust could have been cooked a little longer. Pizza in my highschool cafeteria back in the 80's was better. The flavor of the ingredients was good and that's about all.

Kind of hidden off W Pensacola but very nice environment. Better than expected, 7 dollars for these and a drink with the lunch special. TVs showed English and Spanish shoes. My gf got the pizza and salad and said the salad was the best salad she's had in Tally. Def consider giving this place a try

These are a few of my favorite things, Brooklyn and Pizza. When you combine the two, enlightenment may be achieved. There's a certain authenticity and more importantly, a specific taste that comes to mind when you think of a slice from the City That Never Sleeps. In Tallahassee, we have Brooklyn Pizza. And it's a damn fine slice of pie. Chewy, dense, and a crisp crust make for an above average pizza. The Supreme is loaded with meats and veggies and the flavor profiles pair well together. Of course an extra sprinkle of Parmesan and red pepper flakes don't hurt, either. The garlic knots are garlicky and this guy ain't complaining. Not the best knots in town, but still decent. Garlic, cheese and bread. Don't expect much else. Honestly, what else do you really need, though? Brooklyn Pizza has outstanding lunch specials. $6 (tax included) for 10 different options. Truly, a steal. The store is usually quiet - I've never encountered a rush. However, they're open late. Until 3 am on weekends! Now, I'm no genius but instead of ringing the bell for a taco (wink) during those late night hours, call up the great, local pizza joint on Pensacola Street. You'll be glad you did.

The Bolognese didn't have enough meat to suit me and it hadn't been cooked long enough to develop that rich depth of flavor that my all time favorite Bolognese at Mimmo's in Destin has. More like a marinara sauce than a rich and thick bolognese. The pizza, on the other hand, was stellar. Tasty thin and crispy crust with a nice sauce, delicious cupped pepperoni and plenty of cheese where extra cheese might be overkill. Would have loved more fennel bite in the sliced Italian sausage but the overall taste of the pizza was so good I wouldn't quibble. We have a local pizza favorite close to home but I would drive right by them, all the way through town and down to Woodville for this pizza. It tasted that good.

And its 4.5 rating out of (900+) was the assurance I needed that I would have a quality experience. On the menu, I instantly took an interest in the 10" Margherita, which was what I ended up ordering with pineapple as my second topping added. Whether it be Grubhub or now Uber Eats, I love ordering online because it is convenient. Much praise to the Uber Eats delivery driver, Danilo, for arriving with my order at a reasonable time, as well as meeting me in front of the hotel. And Danilo also confirmed that it was me grabbing the order, which I cannot thank him so much for. Once I retrieved my order from Danilo, it was so hard to not smell it inside of the elevator headed up to my hotel room. It made me smile knowing that I just put pineapple on a Margherita pizza which is just not normal, tehehe. Even with the addition of pineapple, the pizza looked wonderful once I opened its box. I must say that the hint of cracked black pepper gave it a very nice touch appearance wise. Along with that, the pizza was topped with a combination of fresh cut basil, tomato and extra virgin olive oil with fresh mozzarella. And slice by slice, I devoured it as its toppings fell from it right back into the box. If you are looking for something to order from Gaines Street Pies, and love Margherita pizza as much as I do, then I recommend it. Being that I had a great ordering experience, I would surely order from Gaines Street Pies again whether it be Uber Eats delivery or takeout whenever visiting the city of Tallahassee. When I arrived at Decent Pizza it was closed. While I'm parked in front of the business using my phone to search for alternatives, because I had guests at my house and this was the planned meal, I receive a text informing me my order is ready for pickup. It's pretty unbelievable that they would allow such a thing to happen. Their website shows that they're open 7 days a week. The door of the business indicates closed Mondays. I called first to ensure they were open and got the "we're probably too busy to answer the phone" message, which instructed to order online. I thought ordering online was a safe option because surely there is no way the online ordering system would accept an order while the business was closed. I used their online contact form to report this issue on the day this happened (5/25). It's now June 21st and I have never received a response. The service was very friendly and before the team member there started our order he did tell us about the ice machine being broken. The pizza is made to order - even the slices. However, the temperature of the pizza was not that hot - you know the first bite of out of the oven pizza should be gooey and stretchy and burn the top of your roof of your mouth hot.
