The food itself wasn't bad, but we weren't too happy with the service. We had pizza there once before with mushroom toppings, and I remember the pizza was oddly "peppery" and I didn't like it too much. This time we wanted to order pick up somewhere, and decided to try this place again. My boyfriend said we could just ask them to not add any pepper to the pizza, just to make sure. My boyfriend called to order, but accidentally forgot to mention the pepper. He called right back, asking if they could make sure there wasn't any pepper on the pizza (since last time we tasted a lot of pepper). As usual, he worded this very politely and I think it was obvious he was well-intentioned (we knew it might have been an odd request already). Oddly enough, the person taking the order seemed to take this personally. She deadpanned that my boyfriend ordered the "cheese" pizza, and mentioned that they don't even put pepper on their pizza. She seemed really annoyed, to the point that my boyfriend had to stress that this "wasn't meant to be a complaint, he just wanted to make sure there was no pepper on the pizza", so that she would understand that we meant no ill will or anything. Anyways, when we go to pick the pizza up, the servers seemed a little bit cold. Basically said nothing as we paid for and picked up the pizza. We had no idea if they were upset about the call, or if service was just usually like that. Needless to say, we were a little bit worried about finding spit on our pizza! The pizza itself wasn't too bad, but the service just left a bad taste in our mouths, and we probably won't be coming by again. I'm too afraid they'll remember our name and try to mess with our pizza or something, lol! read more

This east coast gal knows good pizza, and this is as close to home as it gets in this area. Calzones and dinners are good! When I like to splurge I get an extra cheese pie, but that wasn't a good idea here...I'm gonna take a wild guess that the quality of cheese they use is just ok. Hub grabbed us some pizza and I have to say I was happy. The pizzas were tasty good. They are really NY style pizza. That's hard to find around here. The veggie pizza was full of veg and melty soft cheesy bliss. The meat pizza had nice toppings in a good amount and was not swimming in grease, as so often happens to meat pizzas. I am very happy with the crust, which makes the pizza in my opinion. Since ours traveled in a box, I was not expecting super crisp, but this was really good. They get the pizza bottoms done right. I am kind of sad we moved from the neighborhood, but we will go back, I am sure. read more

Aside for The driver delivering the pizza to the wrong hotel, she made it over to the correct one quickly and the pizzas was still delivered nice and warm. As far as the Pizza goes, I thought the sauce was very flavorful toppings were ample I ordered extra cheese and that was exactly what I got! Brooklyn Pizzeria is without a doubt one of the best local pizza restaurants in Humble. The shop is a no frills affair, but the pies are incredibly fresh and the service is amazing. The sauce is tangy and truly a standout The crust is fired to perfection and while somewhat thicker than traditional NY style, it still very authentic by Texas standards. The calzones are one of my lunch favorites, but you're generally better off ordering sausage and pepperoni over the default ham. The little bit of extra kick makes the meal. read more

As a new yorker stuck in houston for two days because of Juno, we werent expecting much from anything. This pizzeria had it all though to make us feel at home. Reasonable prices, a wide variety of toppings and sides and of course, delivery. We got our pies not expecting anything and were pleasantly surprised with pizza that could compete on the island. Thin crust, solid ratio of cheese and decent sauce along with a healthy amount of toppings. Brooklyn pizza may be a stretch of a name but I cannot imagine anywhere else in this region having this close of a comparison to what we have at home. Keep the NY spirit in Houston! read more

My coworker and I decided to try this place today since we had to make a stop at Wal-Mart. We were a little apprehensive after walking inside, but decided to give it a try. She ordered the chicken alfredo, I had a slice of pizza (mushrooms, black olives, pepperoni and hamburger) Sooooo delicious. Service was average, not slow. How do you add more stars?! We just moved to Humble and were wanting to try something new when we saw this place. We walked in and it was clean and smelled of all things great and Italian. We tried the meatlovers pizza and I must say it was delicious! The toppings were amazing and the meat tasted fresh, not like the frozen kind from those large chains. The pizza wasn't even greasy, which was surprising because there was a family of meats on there. They do not skimp you on the toppings either! I was pleasantly surprised by our food and will DEFINITELY try them again and again and again. The crust is kinda thin so if you're not a fan of thin crust, but warned. I personally don't like thicker crust as I feel it doesn't cook fully. All in all it was a great pizza for a competitive price. read more

Ok! This place has some seriously good pizza! Now is it New York pizza? IDK! I have never been to New York but I have had some killer pizza and this is among the best. This place is really clean. The first time I went for lunch with a couple coworkers and dinned in. We ordered the meat lovers (Not my first choice but I have mostly men coworkers and they paid) it came out hot, melted cheese perfect portions of meat. It was very good. The second time we ordered for take out and took back to the office. This time trying the pepperoni and the meat lovers. What can I say I work with barbarians.
