My loving husband is Brooklyn (NYC) native. With that being said we are always on the lookout for true NY style pizza. While in the Fayetteville area we stopped by Brooklyn Pizzeria (Bragg Blvd). Hubby & I gives it . On the inside it looks to be family oriented and the pizza was really good. The only exception is the crust was a bit chewy... By far the closest thing to New York Pizza around here!! I'm always skeptical about trying pizzerias that have the Name Brooklyn considering I am from New York and know what good pizza is. Well they take the cake! Friendly staff good service everything was up to par! And they have beer and football on the tv!! I mean you can't get any better than that right!!!!! Tonight will be our 3rd time going. The food and prices are great. Wait times vary, but so worth it. Definitely call ahead for pick up.

Not terrible, but not a place I'm willing to return. First time here. Ordered a large special pizza (has mushrooms, pepperoni, sausage, beef, onions, black olives, jalapeños, pineapple, and bacon), a salad (which had ham, pepporocini, green olives, a piece of salami and cheese), and a cannoli. Cons - Crust is way too thin! Dudes, hubby and I kept bending forward to catch our pizza slices with our mouths. Pro- pizza had a decent amount of toppings. Con- can't catch your food, which isn't what's supposed to happen! Hubby and I used our fork from the salad super often cuz we had to get/catch the toppings. There also wasn't a decent amount of cheese on the pizza. - Don't do takeout. Given the flimsy nature of the pizza, I wouldn't recommend takeout. - Overpriced! It's $2.50 for 1 friggin' cannoli!! Our large special pizza, which took extra work to eat was $24. We paid around $17 out of pocket with our restaurant.com credit. Not enough value for money. - No menu online. - Salad was mostly chopped iceberg lettuce. No nutritional value there. - Pizza had canned mushrooms, not fresh. That leads me to believe they don't have high turnover on customers, ergo food. - Staff isn't knowledgeable. My husband and I purchased a $15 credit voucher on restaurant.com. This requires us to order $30 worth of food. When we finished ordering and we're going to pay with our voucher, one of the staff was like, "Wait, they need to order $50 worth of food." We were like, "Uh that's not what the website says." If you're going to have specials and/or ads somewhere, you need to be knowledgeable as to what you're advertising. - inconvenient hours. Hubby and I came on a Sunday and this place doesn't open until 1pm. Very inconvenient so I was starving by the time we arrived. Pros (Yes, there are some upsides!) - Decent inside space. Can hold 4-6 people (depending on how small they are) per table. - The taste of the pizza itself with the toppings isn't bad, but too much work to eat. - Handmade. We could see the pizza chef tossing the dough and making the pizza. Atleast that looked legit. Final Answer- Not on my list of pizza places to go back to. I've had better quality and at better prices. Papa John's and Mellow Mushroom have better pizza and will continue to receive our business. read more

I've frequented Spring Lake/Ft Bragg area for over 10 years and Brooklyn has always been a stop for me. It's pizza. Period. The store doesn't insist on itself. There's no frills. I can get a slice and a beer, have a seat at the counter and read a paper without having to deal with screaming kids or hipsters. I don't need pseudo-friendly servers to enjoy a good slice of pizza. The only thing am disappointed about is that I've lived here for 2 years and just had Brooklyn Pizzeria for the first time last night!!! It was so good that I've already ordered it again today. Definitely a solid 4. I only didn't give it 5 because the crust was a little too hard for me and I thought the red sauce on the pizza didn't really have flavor. Not uneatable by any means, but just missing that little extra. The garlic knots were pretty good as well. read more

I ordered in from my hotel which is just down the road from the restaurant. The pizza came a lot faster than they said it would I was pretty excited about that. I ordered the Brooklyn special which had a lot of toppings on it. In fact I had too many toppings which made the pizza very sloppy and very hard to eat. The center of the pizza was very watery and when they lifted it up all the toppings just fell out.
