Heard about Brooklyn square for a while. Was told it was similar to L&B. We ordered the Sicilian with half meatball and sesame seeds. The pie was warm when it got to us but not crunchy. It was incredibly saucey. A little too much even though the sauce was delicious. The center pieces were very hard to pick up because they were so saucy. The meatball was good. I think maybe because it was delivered, the pizza got a little soggy. Next time, I'll try to get well done or pick it up instead of delivered.

Saw this pizzeria from across the street while I was at Fun Stuff Toys. I was starving so I ran in, grabbed 2 slices and devoured it in the car. They were grandma-style slices with spicy tomato sauce and pepperoni- so good!~Thin crispy crust and definitely had a kick to it. I went back a few weeks later and got it again but this time, the experience wasn't so great. It was around 11:30 on a Saturday, they opened at 11 and there were NO pizzas out, NOTHING was ready. They said they could make the pizza I wanted and that it would take 15 minutes so I agreed to wait. 20 minutes passed, then 25 and 30 minutes later, I finally got my 2 slices, smh. Was it worth it? NO! Come after 12 pm if you want all the types of pizza.

Where Brooklyn at!! I love upside-down pizza & Brooklyn Square makes a really good one, slices are small but flavor is big!!

Whenever I'm visiting the Seaford area I always make a special stop at Brooklyn Square. They have a big selection of unique specialty slices, though their namesake Square slice (cheese on bottom, sauce on top - sprinkled with Parmesan) is the star of the show. The sauce is more on the sweeter side so I typically like to pair it with a spicy special slice of some kind. This past trip, I also had the Buffalo Chicken slice (spicy over the mild option) along with the Arrabiata slice, which has diced hot cherry peppers and thinly sliced spicy Italian sausage. Both are exceptional! This place is a slam dunk.

Brooklyn Square Pizza hands-down has one of the best pizza in Long Island. I'm from Brooklyn and I know good pizza and this is it. Regular pies are phenomenal and I just had this Marsala pie... WOW .

Absolute worst pizzeria I've ever been too.. everything was so horrendous I didn't even want to eat any of the shit I bought, garlic knots were black, pizza was terrible.. what a waste of money.

Buffalo Chicken Pizza, if you want to call it that.

Under new ownership and the pizza could not be worse. Joe used to keep the place in order and clean, along with providing top notch service and delicious food. Will not go back.

Eh. Got a regular and a Sicilian. I'd say just ok. Wouldn't go back. And they were small, $6.75.

Every time I visit I always grab a few pizzas to bring home and I always make sure to ask to upgrade to DOP ingredients. This place is as authentic as it gets. From the oven, which was imported from Naples, to the owner being a certified pizzaiolo, and the amount of DOP ingredients in use and available, there's a level of care and respect for Neapolitan pizza that you can taste in the each pizza. The ingredients are excellent, the crust is consistently great, the dough has the perfect chew , and nothing feels like an afterthought. Over the years they've grown in popularity and have added several new items on the menu, to include pizzas, but the ones that stay constant in my rotation are Moms, The Margareta (DOP), and the meatball with ricotta. For me, they make the best neopolitan pizza on Long Island. I also love that it's connected to the pork store next door. There's something about the whole setup that feels like a throwback to my childhood and the kind of Italian American places I grew up around that seem like there's so few of today. Going to Saverio's is more than just grabbing a pizza. There's whole experience has a warmth and authenticity to it that's increasingly hard to find...and while you're waiting for your pizza, going next door and buying some food, whether it's cold cuts, cheeses, or pasta is very much a part of the experience. Saverios is genuinely one of a few places I always look forward to visiting when I'm on the Island. You should check it out if you haven't already.

I see my friends mostly at wakes now and my ride fell down on me, so here in Jamaica i stand. For all who've not been, it is about the dirtiest, most germy place per square foot in NYCs transportation world. Its the kind of place I hope you'll never ever see in your life. Everybody's bumping into you and yelling about track changes, looking like a bunch of morons who think they're going somewhere important. Anyway, I ended up getting off at Massepequa and going to Leonardo's Pizza hoping they had a beer but they didn't, figures. First, I had the Italian Wedding Soup. It arrived looking like a drowned swamp with all those stringy, pale noodles swirling around in the broth like a bunch of white wigglers, similarto what i had for first lunchies. They were just sitting there next to these limp green leaves and the carrots were just floating in it. It's like the soup is trying to convince you it's healthy, but the whole thing just looks depressing. You take a bite, and it tastes, well, it tastes rather good, but the name is what really gets me. "Italian Wedding Soup." That's a odd name if I ever heard one. What does soup have to do with getting married? It just makes you think of a bunch of grandmothers crying and guys in rented tuxedos talking about their golf handicaps and portfolios. Plus I'm never getting married again, never ever - i learned my lesson. Then came the Detroit Slice. It sat there on a paper plate next to my copy of The Adventures of Tom Sawyer, which was the only thing in my whole damn life that's keeping me company. Look at the edge of that crust--it's burnt to a crisp. Black as night, dark as spadesbut maybetgats how they do it on Long Island. The sauce is piled right down the middle like a thick red streak, covered in all these little dried oregano herbs I applied. I sat there eating this cheesy crusted square, staring at Mark Twain on the cover, and I swear it made me feel sad. Not because the book is terrible, it reminded me of my childhood, another complete disaster. The pizza actually had that crispy, cheesy edge going for it, I'll give them that, but because it felt lonely eating alone in public,vi never do that. Me, Samuel Clements and a thick slice of pizza on a cheap paper plate. Next time I'll be sure to eat out with someone fun.

The shelter is literally about a 4 minute drive away, right down the block. We tipped $4.00, which I thought was reasonable for such a short delivery, although maybe I should have tipped more. I'm not sure. Unfortunately, the delivery driver was clearly unhappy with the tip and asked for more money. I was honestly flabbergasted. He told me to go inside and ask them if they're willing to give him more. He kept asking for more, became angry and rude, and the interaction lasted a solid 2-3 minutes before I finally walked away and called the store to report it. Mind you, it takes A LOT for me to want to complain... The first manager I spoke to was a woman who basically just said sorry, and that was it. However, I later spoke with Rich, who I believe is either a manager or the owner, and he completely changed how I felt about the situation. Rich took the time out of his day to go over everything with me in detail, listened to what happened, made sure the situation was made right with us, and handled things with his driver. He could have easily been rude, dismissive, or just brushed me off, but he did the exact opposite. He immediately took action, handled the situation professionally, and resolved it to the best of his ability. I genuinely found that commendable. Because of how kind, respectful, and professional Rich was, I still plan on supporting the business moving forward. For our next event, I actually plan on ordering 3 pies and other items from them. Their food is absolutely amazing! I'll personally be doing pickup moving forward rather than delivery, but I truly do want to support Rich and his business because of how well he handled everything. Thank you again Rich. Wishing you and the business well.
