Terrible place...sent us two old and wet on the bottom large pies. Called next day and guy pretending to be a manager, offered me something for the mistake. Called again to give them another try and the owner refused to honor the exact words of his so called manager. Then explained to me that it was his driver who I was talking to. So with all that nonsense and a rude owner, I highly recommend not to go there. And by the way my mom got sick and threw up from her one slice she tried to eat.

Great pizza, came in for a regular slice and a pepperoni pinwheel and it hit the spot. The girl at the counter is nice great service. Nice ambiance, they got outside seating as well. They also have Italian ice very big temptation while eating inside

Best pizza. Amazing cold and hot. Only pizza with sesame seeds that I tolerate and prefer. So perfect

Local spot offering delicious pizza! Finally I found a decent pizzeria. The prices are fare & the food is good. Small spot located inside a strip mall w/ plenty of parking & limited indoor seating. The pizza was not too thin & not too doughy. The sauce was flavorful & the cheese was cheesy. The best part is the sesame crust.

    Look at these slices!

"Do you remember those days hanging out at the Village Green?" Fun fact: Billy Joel is referencing this part of town when he's singing in "Italian Restaurant", so it's only appropriate to have eaten at an awesome pizzeria in this part of Levittown. My family was looking for a great place to grab a slice of pizza nearby, and some very happy Yelp reviews brought us to Di Maggio's Pizzeria. With one person in the group having never eaten a real slice of NY pizza, we were hoping this place would live up to the hype. Fortunately, the pizza here really is delicious and offers that classic NY flavor we were hoping to find. Di Maggio's is a small pizzeria but that doesn't stop the folks here from serving up a tasty slice of neapolitan or sicilian. Among the 3 pizza-eaters in the group, we ordered a plain slice, sicilian slice and bbq chicken slice. My wife claims it was the best bbq chicken pizza she had! Meanwhile, the pizza-newbie LOVED his plain slice. I also really enjoyed my slice of sicilian. It was doughy with just the right amount of crunch and had a great sweet flavor between the sauce, cheese and crust. Yum! Otherwise, Di Maggio's really is your traditional Long Island pizzeria. The service is quick, the ambiance is modest, and the choices are both varied and cheap. If you're in Levittown, Hicksville, or even Wantagh, consider giving Di Maggio's a try. It's a great pizzeria in the heart of Long Island!

Half eaten by my family before I could get a photo.

The Margarita pizza was like cardboard. I asked for no sauce on my hero and it came with sauce on it. Big waste of money.

I once was short a dollar for a 3rd slice of pizza and they let it slide. Always been great people and never disappoint.

Ask the Community - Di Maggio's Pizzeria

Can somebody explain how DiMaggio's can claim to have been "Frequented by musician Billy Joel since his childhood" if they have only been around for 35 years? The guy is 74 years old.

Hey Tom, great question we are going by the history of our store from the original owners and the wonderful song that Billy Joel wrote about our pizzeria in the song “Scenes from an Italian Restaurant”

Another experience at La Piazza in Westbury. I asked, I'd like to order a chicken franchise, can I…read moreget angle hair spaghetti. Eric told me only regular spaghetti or penne . I noted I'd pay the difference. He said- the computer only gives 2 choices. Short story long - I asked if there is an included in price swap for salad.Yes. Point in fact ; the garden salad can be swapped at no extra cost but the Cesar or Mediterranean is a buck and change more.Again it's the computers fault. Bad computer... I cancelled the order. Who knew? Yes it may have been on a menu somewhere. I was supposed to know this through uhh osmosis. Nicholette was sent to clarify and check with manager and wave the extra fee for a Cesar salad of which I would have simply taken the Garden salad had I known. Got the chicken Franchise and salad with bread ani it all tasted fine.

They replaced mama Theresa's but I need to try more food before I say I don't like it. I have heard…read moreso many great things but tbh I wasn't impressed with my food at all. I even bought a cheese pizza to take home and it was so eh. I am willing to try their mozz wedges , meatballs and specialty slices. I felt like my rigatoni was watery. The sauce wasn't think how I expected. My grandma wasn't impressed by the shrimp Luciano either, also shocked it had potatoes in it because that wasn't in the discription. My waitress was very attentive. I am glad we dined in. The food took a little minute to come out but it was a holiday.
