Good stuff. It's our new "go to" place in the area. Friendly staff. Wish I had a pic of the Grandma pie we've had. Chicken parm was awesome.

After arriving we realized that we knew a couple of waiters and waitresses from restaurants that we have been going to for over 20 years. The restaurant is very clean and has a nice look. Wine list is very nice and has something for everyone. Our waiter Anthony who by the way owned restaurants in the past, he did a great job. Covid forced him to have to close his own place a couple of years ago. All four of us loved our dinners. Prices are fair for the most part. We will definitely be going back again soon.

Here in lies the glaring problem... I was cheated of $500 by the owner Michael. The money agreed on for the party was counted twice by each mother. I gave my share to Michael and he counted it. Our business was finished. Or so I thought... A few minutes later Micheal comes out to the parking lot as we were about to leave and he tells me I shorted him $500!!! How could that be? The money was counted out many times by both of us!!! There was no written contract that showed my deposit; only a copy of the party plans. My plan was circled for the price per person. My deposit was not deducted from the total amount owed. If you read comments from the past about this owner; it's not the first time he has used this tactic. I'm praying for Michael!

We were in a section that included a live singer and made for great ambiance. By 7:30, every table was filled. For restaurant week, I chose the 4 blue point oysters, the 6oz filet mignon and the cheesecake. The oysters were great and subtly briny and the filet was cooked perfectly (though the potato and vegetable side were pretty underwhelming). The cheesecake was considered Italian and was very lumpy, grainy and I did not like that style. We also ordered the brussel sprouts, grilled octopus and creamed spinach. The brussel sprouts were the highlight of the meal - highly recommend!! The grilled octopus was cooked perfectly The creamed spinach was a tad salty but yummy They also half bottles of wine which was a happy medium for my party My sister got the mussels, lamb shank and tiramisu as her restaurant week choices. The lamb shank was an incredible portion and so flavorful. The tiramisu was the right choice Our waiter was fantastic The wait time for our food was a little long, but I think they were extremely busy and we didn't mind IG/bernmarksthespot

We ordered Veal Parmigiana and Veal Siciliana both delicious and the veal was like butter, so tender. The sauces on the entrees so flavorful. Side of linguine with tomato sauce and roasted garlic perfect. Very limited wine list , we went with the Chianti tonight which was very good. They had a key lime pie as a special dessert for the night and I can never pass one up, another delicious item. Menu has individual entrees and also offers a family menu options for larger parties. Make sure you call for reservations, definitely gets crowded. Highly recommend

Update - our third visit. Saturday night, about 8:00 P.M., we got the last table for four, near…read morethe kitchen. They now have valet parking, but they don't take reservations, despite what's stated on the Internet. Prices have increased and the menu has changed since our visit last year. It's a loud, mostly "smart casual" dressed crowd, and I found myself leaning over the table to enable conversation. Last year, mid-week, it was quiet. Our waitress, Julia, was articulate and very sweet. I ordered the Chicken Sorrentino, which was breaded chicken cutlets with breaded eggplant cutlets in an oily tomato sauce with de minimus infused veggies and melted mozzarella cheese on top. It came with a side dish and I chose the linguine (instead of potato/veggies), but asked for whatever sauce would come with the entrée (instead of marinara, etc.). My dish was delicious, but I became saturated after eating half of it (possibly from the oil or because the portions are so generous), so I took the other half home for another dinner. I purposely didn't order an appetizer to save a little space for dessert and coffee. That said, for starters, they put out complimentary but crude bruschetta for the four of us and they partially sliced about a six or eight inch piece of plain Italian bread in a rattan basket with pats of butter wrapped in foil. I often try the tiramisu for dessert, when available in Italian restaurants. I enjoyed theirs, despite its variant albino appearance (see photo) and flavor. The relative absence of cocoa or espresso initially made me feel as if I had ordered scotch and got a Shirley Temple, but it was still well prepared and went well with coffee.

Our waitress made us feel completely comfortable we were laughing, having side conversations, and genuinely enjoying ourselves all night. By the end of the evening, she even said, "Goodnight, love you!" and quickly laughed saying she didn't mean to say it. That pretty much summed up the vibe of the night friendly, relaxed, and memorable. The food was excellent from start to finish. I had the Caesar salad appetizer, which was very good, and my sister had the calamari, which she said was excellent. For our entrées, we both ordered the chicken parmesan with alavaca sauce, and it was absolutely delicious. To finish the night, we shared the crème brûlée for dessert, and it was the perfect treat. The portion is definitely big enough for two people, so I wouldn't recommend ordering one per person. The location is beautiful and right by the water true to the restaurant's name. The only small thing to note is the parking. There are two parking lots, and the first one is definitely the better option. The second lot leads closer to the waterfront entrance and can feel a little tight and snug when parking. Overall, we had an amazing time and would absolutely go back. Great food, great atmosphere, and even better service.

Compared to the farmingdale location the ambiance of this one is giving forgotten step sister aside from the back table(pictured on the website)they did up very nicely. We sat at the bar and the bartender was very sweet and managed a basically full bar attending to every guest with care. We ordered the Italian nachos which we loved and the Picasso. The nachos had a generous amount of crumbled sausage cheese and bruschetta as well as some spicy peppers. We really enjoyed the nachos. The Picasso was a nice size, but the sandwich lacked a little seasoning and needed a little more balsamic. It felt kind of dry. For cocktails we got the strawberry lemon drop, it tasted a little medicinal and the cucumber lime spritz type drink(I can't recall the exact name). This one was very good. An overall very mixed experience but I want to give it another shot even if only for the nachos
