The wine list is expansive and at $11 a glass, with a great pour, is reasonable, as is the bottle prices. We didn't mention it, though, because we weren't that hungry and just ate what we could before moving on. That said, the pizza and penne were both excellent. The pizza had that great brick oven flavor, fresh mozzarella, and a robust tomato sauce. The Penne alla Vodka was also flavorful and nicely seasoned. I enjoyed the large pizza slice which had a firm thin pizza crust, slight char on the edge crust and topped with plenty of soft ricotta cheese, broccoli florets, garlic, oil, and browned mozzarella cheese. I will definitely have to order a whole pizza next time around. I would also suggest they add calzones to their menu offerings.

In the same vein, they used the cheap cupped pepperoni that you often find on gas station pizza. The only decent thing about the pizza was the sauce, but they hardly put any on the pizza. I just don't understand why a new place would put so little effort into their food. At the close, Route 43 Pizzeria is a below average pizza spot that offers nothing of value.
