I'll definitely come back for the chicken Parmesan and my husband loved the calamari dish. The lava cake was yummy but there wasn't any lava-just a hard, unmelted center. That was the only flaw of the whole experience. Waiter was very attentive and good.

My burger was so hot that it had been recooked in a microwave, as for my wife mushroom burger it was eatable, the only reason why I gave a star. In short seriously bad food and waste of money. Sad.

The worst was the loaf of sourdough turned fuzzy in a few days, and we had it in the refrigerator. We will continue our search.

Lagonia's Bistro is the reincarnation of Lagonia's restaurant. Same great food, amazing pizza with all kind of toppings, wonderful salads, great wraps and of course the excellent past dishes like pasta with seafood prepared in a spicy sauce. However the best part of the Lagonia's Bistro is the brand new downtown Chatham location! It is situated right across from the old train station with ample seating outside, socially distance with the full ambiance of downtown Chatham in full view. Of course for the little diners, the occasionally passing train only adds to the special experience. I heartily recommend you come by and dine with the ever charm Rob Lagonia. read more

An absolute gem in the heart of Chatham, NY! If you're looking for high quality Italian food at a quaint and lovely (newly renovated) restaurant right in town, this is the spot for you! The pizza was spectacular (sausage and broccoli rab and the bianco) as well as all of the appetizers and entrees. Everything tasted fresh and carefully made. The chicken georgio was my favorite! Normally not a review writer but after dinner at Lagonias this week just have to commend the chef on quality fare at sensible prices. It is a rare find to enjoy creative dishes with fresh ingredients and not break the bank - even the desserts excelled. I got about 10 trays of catering to feed an entire crew of 18 for a weekend. It was a fairly big menu with plenty to choose from, extremely friendly service and generous portions. This place is the real deal. We had the great pleasure of getting catering from Lagonia's for an event and the food was incredible. The Chicken Georgio is an absolute must-try, and the Ziti and Chicken Francaise were both cooked to perfection. Definitely worth checking out! read more

The wine list is expansive and at $11 a glass, with a great pour, is reasonable, as is the bottle prices. You could also tell that this is a popular local spot, since it seemed like the staff knew several of the guests personally. We ordered a medium Margherita pie and a Penne alla Vodka--both simple and safe choices. The pasta dish came with a side salad (choice of house or Caesar), which was perfect. Note: if you prefer a small amount of dressing, you may want to ask for it on the side. We did make that request, but unfortunately, the server seemed to have forgotten, and our salad came drenched. We didn't mention it, though, because we weren't that hungry and just ate what we could before moving on. That said, the pizza and penne were both excellent. The pizza had that great brick oven flavor, fresh mozzarella, and a robust tomato sauce. The Penne alla Vodka was also flavorful and nicely seasoned. If you're ever in the area and in the mood for Italian food, definitely check this place out.

They also have a garlic knot pizza, which is very popular where I live in NH. I stopped by Gnome Slice Pizzeria for dinner recently. I placed an online order through Spoton. I ordered a slice of Cheese Pizza ($3.50 plus tax) and a Mushroom Kingdom Fettuccine ($21 plus tax) with a side salad. I enjoyed the Cheese Pizza slice in restaurant that was heated up in the oven. The thin crust was crisp on the bottom with a soft dough texture with the right amount of red sauce and cheese. The Mushroom Kingdom Fettuccine & side salad was bagged and ready to go in about 15 minutes. I enjoyed my dinner outside on a warm night. The good size portion of pasta was very hot and had soft fettucine noodles with tender pieces of chicken, mushrooms in a rich creamy alfredo sauce. The side salad had a mix of arugula, ripe tomatoes, red onions, tri color peppers and shredded mozzarella cheese, dressing on the side. My dinner overall was solid excellent and now I am tempted to drive all the way back here again so I can play some Ms. Pac Man and order a specialty pizza (Gnomish Coastline Quest) and a Bonus Level Bolognese pasta dinner.
