Great beer, great music, great people! 21 taps on the wall and seemingly a couple more secret ones in "the back" Board-Games are typically available to play, however this has been removed during COVID. Follow them on Facebook to see the latest special events.

My shield, clever and fun way to serve a flight.

Really nice place. This was the closest brewery to my hotel on a business trip to Utica, MI. Stopped in for a flight. Place is very clean and welcoming. Beer styles ranged from pale lagers to DIPAs, with some kettle sours and a dark beer or two thrown in to round out the selection. My 7 beer flight was solid all around. A few standouts, but no stinkers. Bartenders were knowledgeable and friendly. Customers were nice. They have free popcorn and board games. I will be back next time my travels take me to the northern suburbs of Detroit.

Dont get over this way often decided to stop for One more stop on our way home. Waitress was very accommodating to our large group. They offered free samples for their brews. Everyone enjoyed the nestoliga games and their brews

Let me just start off with, I was greeted by a golden retriever! A friend and I went here for a drink to check it out. We were greeted by Buddy and very friendly staff. The bartenders were friendly and knowledgeable, and their selection was great! Try the triple! Food is supplied by a food truck, which was awesome but keep in mind the menu is limited. All in all, this is a great brewery in Shelby. If all else fails, stop to meet buddy, he's nice!

OK. Let's set the record straight here. THIS IS A BAR. They just happen to make their own alcohol. It is clearly stated on the door no one under 21 is permitted. Food is offered Thursday-Saturday by a 3rd party vendor, which pairs deliciously with the selection. You can bring your own food in if you'd like. Even on a Saturday night it's low key here and the staff is friendly. It has quickly become my new stomping ground. They do have a happy hour if you're in before 6pm. Samples of any brew are offered upon request. They do have salt shakers behind the bar for those that know how to salt their napkins (; I read the reviews before coming in and still decided to decide the truth for myself. People really need to take the sticks out of their butts. White Boy Rob (Pale Citra IPA) and cheese sticks are tonight's pick. Jalapeño poppers not shown. Perfect place to unwind without any riff raff!

Sure they have great beer and food trucks. But they also have the best paper towels in the WCs of any brewpub in the tri-county area.

Then a big open space/dining area with very tall ceilings. Not very cozy or inviting. They had happy hour and we were able to enjoy it for the last 15 minutes. Our waitress was friendly and honest about the menu options. She said the black bean burger is frozen and she wouldn't recommend. I got a happy hour beer which was on draft and it was good. Full house pours of brown iron beer are $6. Some of the appetizers are marked down for happy hour so we got the pretzels. 25% off select items. We got the soft pretzels but the pretzel to dip ratio was off though. Not enough pretzels to utilize all the dips. Would be nice to have 4 pretzels instead of 3 but they were really tasty. Warm and fluffy pretzels. The dips were yummy too! I got the hot chicken sandwich and my friend got the sante fe salad and added chicken. My sandwich was a good size and they have thicker style fries, good seasoning on them. The hot part of the sandwich was lacking, it wasn't very hot. My friend liked her salad and it was a good portion. Waitress without us asking split our checks and split the pretzels between us, so nice! She checked on us throughout our meal. Bathrooms were clean. Would definitely come back, especially during the summer to sit outside.

It's a little dark inside but the big front windows let light in. We chose the sit at the U shaped bar and met our bartender, Shelby. She was a lovely guide helping us newbies choose beers, wine, and food. It was happy hour which gave us a small discount on beers and the breadtzels. I sampled a few beers and started with an orange sangria. Was a little sweet for me. Went back to the watermelon lime cream ale which was better. Happy to learn none of their cream ales contain lactose. She recommended the breadtzels which were tasty. Even offered to remove the butter if I wanted. There wasn't much on the menu that was plant based so good thing I didn't come there to eat. Excited to come back and try more of their creations. Thanks for the friendly welcome and great service Shelby!

It feels like a place with a lot of regulars, which gives it a welcoming, neighborhood kind of vibe. The space itself could use a little love. It's a bit outdated, kind of dark inside, and the tables are usually a little sticky. They also close off some tables later in the evening, even when it's not that busy, which can be confusing. Still, we keep coming back. The food and drinks are good, and the staff is kind. Just hoping they give the place a little refresh to match the good stuff coming out of the kitchen and taps.

And the menu is HUGE! There was a little insert with lunch specials which included a small pazookie for dessert, all fot $13! I had the unlimited soup & salad. I chose the broccoli cheddar soup. It was very rich, cheesy & a good amount of broccoli. It was so thick that, before the server brought me a spoon, I was able to eat it with a fork! I had the house salad. Nice, fresh greens -- not just romaine or head lettuce -- beautifully dressed with really good honey mustard dressing. My sister had the Enlightened Mediterranean chicken bowl -- a very interesting combination of chicken, quinoa, brown rice and feta, which was also good. The server came by in the middle of our meal to ask what kind of pizookies we wanted, and she even offered to package them to go. They arrived warm, and even after being in the car for a couple hours on a winter day, they still retained a bit of warmth! I can see that, even though the closest BJ's is 10 miles away, I will undoubtedly make some trips there to enjoy more of their offerings.

We made reservations in advance during happy hour and were initially told we would need to sit in the bar area to receive happy hour pricing. However, since all of the seating there was high-top tables and we had children with us, that wasn't an option. The staff accommodated us by seating us in the main dining area while still honoring the happy hour specials, which we appreciated. Our server, Jake, was great. He was knowledgeable about the menu, attentive, and offered helpful recommendations throughout the evening. We started with the spinach artichoke dip and chicken potstickers, both of which were good. The kids ordered mac and cheese, Parmesan buttered noodles, chicken tenders, and mini cheeseburgers. The mac and cheese and chicken tenders were very standard. The buttered noodles had to be remade, as they initially came out hard and dried, as if they had been sitting under a heat lamp. The mini cheeseburgers were extremely overcooked--more like hockey pucks--so we sent them back and replaced them with a pasta dish, which unfortunately was also hard. Three adults ordered the prime rib dinner (medium) with whipped potatoes and asparagus. All three came out overcooked. The potatoes were gummy, the asparagus was woody with the ends not trimmed, and the prime rib itself was described as dry and gritty--almost like rehydrated jerky. My husband sent his back and ordered Sal's Brewhouse Chicken instead, which was also disappointing--chewy, stringy, and overly sour from the lemon sauce to the point it was inedible. I ordered the crispy jalapeño burger, which was good, but my fries were noticeably undercooked compared to others at the table. The highlight of the meal was the pizookie, which was delicious and the only standout item of the night. Manager Alex did comp a significant portion of our bill, which we appreciated, and our server Jake handled everything professionally. However, overall, the food quality was very inconsistent. Out of nine meals, only about three were acceptable. While we might consider returning for dessert, we wouldn't come back for dinner.

The fries that came with our meals were perfectly seasoned -- crispy, flavorful, and hard to stop eating. We also shared the cheese curds, which came in squares topped with green onion, and they were absolutely to die for. Easily a standout item and something we'd order again without hesitation. They also have an extensive beer selection along with a solid variety of mocktails, so there's something for everyone. Service was prompt and attentive, and we had no complaints there.
