We have been brooksy's customers for years because my boyfriends been playing hockey here. And can I please say I have never experienced as poor customer service as I have this past month. Tonight we had Brittny and things were great at first and then she forgot to ring in part of our parties food. Instead of being honest when I told her we're waiting on food she insisted she didn't forget to ring it in and people that came in after us were leaving before us. Now I work in the restaurant business so I know exactly what happened. She then delivered the wrong card to our table as if we paid.. this maybe because we frequently catch the servers taking shots in the bathroom... strange. All in all we will continue to play hockey here but we can't continue to get this poor service and rude comebacks instead on owning what happened. read more

Worst service ever! Reserved a booth to watch VGK vs Ottawa. Arrived to find Tiffany the waitress sitting at my booth with my name on it eating her breakfast. Was rude about moving. Gave us non stop drama over ordering our food. When I asked her to please put the game on as that's why I was there, you know to watch my hometown hockey team, she told me 2 other guys were there first and we're watching 3 different football games on 3 different TV's. I had move from my reserved booth to another one to be able to watch the Vegas Golden Knights game. Hmmmm. I thought this was a hockey bar? Since when did 2 other people decide what was playing on all the tvs and football at that. I have been trying every pizza place in Las Vegas. This place is one of the top places. I'm shocked cause this place is more of a bar. Was also shocked to see a skating rink inside. Ordered the Butcher Block(basically meat lover's) Pizza for pick up. Lots of toppings, tasted great, great flavor sauce, perfect crust. This place is better than the pizza place across the street. I definitely would come back again. The press button to enter & exit at late night was odd to me. There must be some safety reasons or security issues. The UW v MSU game was on Peacock. I called 15 sports bar but none had it. The owner of this bar was very accommodating. He called me back within 10 mins and said come on down. I'm a very happy Husky from Seattle watching this game. The owner goes out of his way to appease his guests. A sign of a guest service oriented owner. The bartender was exceptional. When I walked in, she asked me if I called about the game. I had first class treatment. Of course I tipped her very well. Highly recommend this sports bar. read more

I love this place! My kids don't skate or utilize the rinks Nextdoor, but I love being able to sit in the dining room and watch the people on the ice. The bar has a welcoming feel. I've had some iffy service here in the past (my boyfriend even stopped coming here all together for a while) when he noticed staff changes we started coming back. Hmm, I'm surprised I haven't written a review for this place yet. I've been here a few times for beers and hockey watching. Not a great selection of beer. I usually get Blue Moon. Typical bar food, but the blackened chicken sandwich is pretty good. The great thing about this place is you can watch people play amateur hockey through the amazing plexiglass windows they have overlooking the ice rink next door. It's usually not really crowded so I've always had a great view of the action. The servers have always been nice and helpful when I've been there. If you like hockey, check it out. read more

Had the best experience I've had in a long time! I've been in the service industry my entire life my father was a restaurant owner and I've served and bartended until having a family. My husband goes to lunch meetings and dinners 3-4 times a week at 5 star restaurant on the strip and we both agreed the service today was better than we've had in a long time. So we decided to have my daughters birthday party at Brooksy's and the ice rink attached my husband spoke with one of the owners to ask if it was ok and he was more than helpful offering two tables menu options and communicated with us a couple of times leading up to the day. We brought a couple plastic table clothes and balloons and they set it up way better than we expected. The servers were amazing and it was busy in the restaurant and never needed to ask for anything. The food came out hot and delicious we ordered 4 pizzas, wings and fries and all fresh and tasted great! We go to this restaurant/ bar every week when our girls have there skate lessons and always enjoy all the food, we normally have breakfast, it's not crowed like so many other places. We have always enjoyed our experience here but today really showed us how well they take care of their guests. Thank you to the staff today for showing us that there are still people who enjoy there job and care about others. And a big shout out to Tammy the bartender she is the reason we always go there and now we have many more reasons to go. There's no better place to watch hockey in town. This is the one bar in all of Vegas where you can be watching the New York Rangers playing the Los Angeles Kings on one of many large flatscreen TVs lining the walls while simultaneously taking in LIVE hockey overlooking an actual ice rink. The house beer league players might not be as good or fast as the guys on the television, but those games can be just as entertaining! Brooksy's Bar & Grill happens to be directly connected to the Las Vegas Ice Center and offers a beautiful view from a raised vantage point through large windows. Rather than dropping the kids off for public skate and freezing your butt off watching from the stands, Brooksy's offers a nice atmosphere with good drink and food. The servers and bartenders are all fantastic and offer superb customer service even when the bar and dining area is slammed. They offer a full menu filled with your average bar type foods and the majority of the food is mediocre. Nothing overly disappointing, but nothing to write home about. Almost forgot! Stay away from the marinara sauce. I hate to say it, but it's probably the worst I've ever had. read more

A couple of friends and I decided to check this place out last week and I am so happy I found a new locals spot! I absolutely loved the family bar vibe I got right when I entered. Today I went there around 7 AM and after the Bartender got my order, he came over , stood in front of me and asked if I like having my balls licked, when I refused to answer he brought in the lady sitting there and then they both went into the most perverse interrogation of my sex life. This place has so much potential. They had the full NHL package with many TVs so I could watch any broadcasted game. The staff was friendly but service was slow. The drinks were good nothing fancy but well made at a fair price. The food was your typical pub food but with a little more variety. I had the appetizer platter and it had great chicken strips fried cheese great tasting potato skins and a different type of garlic roll knots which were just ok. The pizzas are super good I loved their crust. The pizzas were super loaded with fresh toppings. The major negative to this place that dragged it down to thee stars was how full of cigarette smoke was around. So I have been coming in for years as my son plays ice hockey. Always a relatively reliable bite or drink in a pinch. I'm usually good for a couple beers while watching my son play hockey and maybe, some chicken tenders to go for him. This time I ordered a pizza which was relatively good, wings (that came with fries). All relatively good,with the exception of the hair on the bottom of the fries and the Barbeque sauce. I grabbed a table by the windows so I can watch the hockey game. 15 minutes later no one had approached me about an order or anything. I looked over finally asked a waitress for a menu. She came and brought me one. Then waited another 10 more minutes and still nothing. After waiting so long I said fuck that and left. Probably one of the worst customer service experiences in history. The two waitresses had two big tables and two small ones. Like what the hell are you guys doing at work? One of the small tables finally got pissed off still waiting to pay his bill, he walked it up to the waitress. Get some better servers, they're ruining your establishment. read more

This place has some of the WORST servers I think I've ever had BUT the PIZZA is REALLY GOOD and on the offchance you have a kid that plays hockey or skates, you got a sweet tableside view of the rink. So good job pizza, beer, and hockey, but BOOOO servers all the way. It's a shame because it would be an utter delight to come otherwise. I've been here at least 6 or 7 times (I will continue to come because of my little brothers hockey games) and every time the servers have the resting b****h face dial turned up to a ten. In all honesty maybe it's not their fault. Maybe the manager beats them or something but their attitudes suck. Not once have I gotten a smile. Not once have I recieved prompt attentive service without having to like get up from the table and walk over or stare holes into their heads with my eyes... ice queens... every one. If there were'nt smiling kids on the other side of the glass it would feel like cold war soviet russia with probably more beer choices. (To their credit they have never messed my order up). The staff has been nothing if not warm, engaging, courteous and funny. Although all of the servers were outstanding but three parricularly stand out!!! This place is that little extra that makes them stand out with rest!!!! Sports bar to the extreme and that's what I love about this place they won't disappoint you!!! Also a great place to just enjoy dinner and not care about the sports that's going on. Great specials and great parking all around and lots of handicap parking as well.
