I'm not a huge fan of southern food. A friend of mine pretty much picked this place out of a hat. And, omg. I'm so glad I gave it a try. He got the fried pork chop, I got a grilled chicken sandwich. And it was outstanding. The pork was flavorful and juicy. My sandwich was delicious and piled generously with sautéed mushrooms, onions and cheese. Our blue haired server was very helpful and enthusiastic with her recommendations. I've worked in a lot of kitchens, and you can certainly tell whoever was slinging behind the line, cooks with love. I recommend to anyone who wants to indulge a little or a lot. In addition to everything, the prices were more than reasonable! read more

Great service, great food, locally owned. They have always acomodated my family with a smile and graciousness. Seeing my youngest is around 2 years old, that can be a challenge. I love their blue plate specials and the portions are very generous for the price. They are quickly becoming my Niceville dining go-to. read more

I came into town and wasn't sure where to eat. My mom told me this place was new so decided to try it. My mom had the pot roast and said it was very good. I had the red beans and rice and it was great. Nice size plate full with lots of sausage. We will be trying this place again before I leave and can only hope we enjoy the meals as well as we did this time. The waiter was very nice, helpful and kept our table clean. read more

Some of the best wings I have ever had. The skin was crispy, the meat tender, and the sauce spot on. I got the mango habanero which was nice and sweet with some spice. Nothing to 'balk' at here. Also, my wife loves the Cobb salad. read more

Everything I've had here has been delicious. On Wednesdays they have a smoked meatloaf that is so good! They also have a grilled pork ribeye that is so tender! My husband likes that they have Busch Light. read more

This restaurant knocks it out of the park! The food is amazing, and the staff are super nice! I had the veggie plate...Mac and Cheese, Cole Slaw, Turnip Greens, and Lima Beans. Not sure what happened here, but they used to be great. The last few times it's been extremely disappointing-dry, unseasoned meat, over-salted sides that don't seem fresh, old, dry cornbread... I'm not sure if there's new management or changes in the kitchen staff, but it's really made a change for the worse. It looks like this place just opened. There weren't a lot of people when we went, which was perfect for me. We were greeted by a very friendly waitress. We were shown our table since our party was on the larger side I ordered the Chicken Fried Steak with fries. I started with the fries, and they were soft, but the good kind of soft. There was a light crisp on the outside and the inside had a great potato flavor I found a lot of my meal to be very light on the salt, which isn't a bad thing. It was easy enough to add some to the meal, and once I did, the flavors came out. This can be done either using a salt shaker or hot sauce. I have seen this place as I drive by in Blue water Bay for quite a while. I have always meant to go in. I wanted a cheeseburger and the line for whataburger was insane. I then crossed over to the other side of the plaza and it was time. The staff was busy, there seemed to be an issue with the AC, but I saw some of the nicest looking food go by as the staff was jamming getting folks fed. We waited a bit, but It was to be expected as full as they were. I had the Boss Burger and that thing did me right, just a really outstanding cheeseburger. My wife had Ned's chicken sandwich. I took a bite just to see and talk about tasting like it come off your own backyard bbq, really good flavor. My son had the Southern Spicy BLT, and all he could do was rave about the flavor. I'm now kicking myself for not stopping in sooner. So thankful we did. The staff was amazing sweet tea was good and I just look forward to the next time I get to come in. Just opened when we stopped for burger and chicken sandwich. Hence the 4 stars, but looks very promising. Both burger and chicken sandwich were very good, had special flavor. Price was right, even good for local area. We had tea at lunch, but beer and wine available. I recommend everyone give Brothers a try, support BWB locals read more

would not eat here again or recommen, had the fish and chips, all looked exactly like the frozen fish fillets from Walmart, square frozen potatoes, worst meal I've had in a long time, so if you don't want fresh fish and homemade fries, you will love it. read more

Best shrimp po' boys east of Cajun country!

The worst experience ever. The fried green tomatoes were great once the horribly thick batter was removed. There was a hair in the cornbread, my meatloaf was cold. Waitress just took the hair & brought me bread, but at that point I was done, leftovers went straight into the trash. The sides were super great but service was definitely lacking. Apps charged to wrong ticket but because of handheld checkout device you cannot see ticket until you have paid and ticket printed. Well... we had our first meal here looking for that "Southern Cooking" and I am afraid it will be our last. The staff was very pleasant and it had that 'sports bar' atmosphere with screens on every wall (but not all sports). The disappointment came with my order. I got the beans and rice with sausage. It did taste decent but what I got was a very small plate of beans and rice with 4 small, thin slices of sausage with what looked like 1/2 a roll that was 1/2 raw dough. All this for $11.95. Tried this last night and don't agree with all the praises. Some remodeling done since the last restaurant the "brothers " ran. We were told to sit anywhere, only 3 tables taken. And 4 of the others has not been cleaned. I was looking forward to the southern style meat and 2. The waiter was very enthusiastic about the Brussel Sprouts but I found them to be a mushy mess with weird taste. Mac and cheese was dry, overcooked, no cheese taste. The fried chicken was actually good, tasted freshly cooked, moist and crunchy. My spouse had hamburger that was dry, flat, no flavor. Onion rings were good but were barely warm, so are they not cooked to order? Limited beer and wine offered. Also the view from our table was of cleaning supplies in kitchen. Doubt we will return. We had not been to their last restaurant for years because the food had gotten so bad. Hope they will look to finding a good chef who can put out better food. read more
