Tried the rotisserie chicken, it was absolutely not good, as well as verry pricy. The next was the fried chicken, it was worse than the rotisserie chicken. Next we tried the BBQ chicken, I gave it a 1. No more chicken. We also found prices higher groceries than other stores. Today my wife stopped by to get 3 pounds of lunch meat, 3 hours before closing time and the deli person told her that they had already cleaned the equipment and would not slice any. Decided to give them another try and boy was I disappointed. First prices are so much higher than the competition. Secondly when shopping produce found mold on many items and handed the produce clerk the package an said that they might want to pull it. No so much as a thank you or I will take care of it, just walk away. Bread was outdated by over a month, cheese also showed signs of being old. Walkways are blocked with pink haired smurfs who make rude comments when a customer is trying to get by the mess they created. All of the long term employees are dissatisfied and it clearly shows by their attitude towards the public. Almost got run over by a clerk in a Woody (Toy Story) costume. I came into broulims to get my 1 gallon water bottle refilled for 41 cents I went up to the customer service desk and asked to pay for a refill as I noticed the manager lady was BS to a co worker. The manager said ur total is 41 cent I proceeded to pay with my debit card she said anything below 1 dollar u must pay for with cash she was rude about it then i said never mind and the manager continues to BS with her co worker after being rude she needs to be fired it's the heavy set manager the one that at customer service around 3:30 don't go and see her she is so disrespectful she needs to be fired or let go I will reach out to broulims corporate office and let them know read more

Ok, let's start with the produce. Absolutely terrible! I bought a tomato and some strawberries, got home and they had mold on them!!! Gross!!! I went to the customer service counter and they were less than helpful. A while ago, I bought a bag of raspberries on sale for 1.69. What a deal! Or so i thought. I got home and dumped the raspberries into my pot (I was making raspberry jam) and I hear a loud THUNK on the bottom of the pot. I pulled all the raspberries out of the pot and found a SNAIL in the pot. A WHOLE ENTIRE SNAIL!!! DISGUSTING!!! The clerks can be kind, but are extremely awkward to talk to! The older lady with whole hair and shorter, is so RUDE!!!!! Avoid her check stand at all costs. (Also, the "rewards" program is garbage! I've used my number for years and the points never seem to add up or give me any kind of discount or anything.) Probably best to just use your credit card and use the self checkout. This place is just a dumping ground for all the old, moldy, expired food that the rest of the stores didn't want. Honestly, the Ammon or Rigby stores are 100X better, even though you have a little drive up there. Save yourself the hassle and disgust and go to the Ammon one. There are pros and cons. The pharmacy is fantastic. Seriously, there is none better! The staff is generally friendly and helpful. The produce is not Fred Meyer good, but is not Wal Mart bad. They are known to put bags of Honeycrisp Apples on sale in the fall that I believe are grown in Pingree. They are really good. The meat is wonderful, but a bit pricey, as most things there are. Here's what I love: the huge containers of sour crime are3.99! Everywhere else they are at least $7. The medium sharp cheddar 2 lb. is 5.99 and often goes on sale for 3.99! Western Family fruit on the bottom raspberry is the TWBY as far as I am concerned and it regularly goes on sale 3 for a buck. My kids love to go get the potato soup on there lunch hour and say it tastes better than mine. Whatever. My husband loves the English Muffin bread from the bakery. We have used their floral dept. for years for dance flowers and felt like they did a lovely job at half the price. Broulims has been very helpful in our community as far as giving back, donations to teams, and sponsorships. So over all, seeing as they have a monopoly, they do a nice job. read more

I just left the Shelley Idaho store. They have three cash registers open all of them next to each other. Social distancing was impossible because of the way they crowded everyone into that area. I was in the middle line and two people were in line ahead of me. The first person had six items and we're in the process of checking out. Several people left the line just as I got into it stating good luck. I waited minutes before the first person was done while all the other lines filled and emptied. The next person directly in front of me went up to payment and the clerk who was moving exceptionally slow began helping them. I waited in line a total of 17 minutes being crowded and bumped by the people forced into despite situation due to lack of foresight by the manager. After 17 minutes I gave up and left with my food still on the conveyor belt. The slow service was bad, the crowding especially during the trouble time was Unforgivable. Store did a remodel which was great. However everything got very expensive right after that. The produce that is offered is consistently old. You find better freshness if you go to other stores outside of the area. If you arrive to do your shopping on the weekend, nothing has been stocked. If you like frozen food or canned food then this is the place. While you attempt to check out, be ready for the small town gossip. I have had to wait several times while the clerk and the customer in front of me talked about everything you can imagine after the groceries were already paid for. read more

In a nutshell, non-competitive with others such as Wal-Mart, WinCo, and Fred Meyer. Example, the price of something as common as a gallon of milk. Not even close. Great employees and store atmosphere, but when it comes to the bottom line, one's pocketbook, they lose. I wish we could shop there, but cannot justify it. read more

We moved here a couple months ago and have done our shopping at this location quite a few times. The first couple times were an okay experience, other then a lot of the stuff is over priced. They also didn't carry a good variety in their produce. The costumer service with the majority of staff I have encountered was beyond rude. When I asked where an item was I was treated like a burden, or they flat out said I don't know... My husband asked me to call to get a price check on their soda where we thought it might be more expensive than the other store locations. The women acted like it was the most rediculouse question she had ever been asked and told me I had to pick a brand and she would tell me the price. I asked am I really only allowed to know one? She proceeded to tell me she was at the front desk and that she would HAVE to go to the aisle to check, so yea I could only pick one soda label to be priced. She was beyond snarky and literally made ugh noises while talking to me... She never actually checked. I worked quite a few years in retail and customer service jobs. I know it's not okay to treat and talk to customers like that so it makes me so frustrated when I see or experience it. Unless they can have some retraining done on customer service... Or just how to treat another human being, I'll drive the extra miles to do my shopping. read more
