I found Brow Essence a while ago on instagram looking to get threaded. I loved how my brows came out and I've been going since! The studio is very clean, bright, and cute in general. My brows are very thick, bold, and blocky and in the past, other places instinctively take off too much and leave me with an unflattering shape. Very unprofessional experience! I would not recommend. I had scheduled an appointment with IVY for Jan 26th . She sent me a text message Friday at around 10:30 pm saying she had an emergency and had to reschedule my appointment. I was totally ok with rescheduling. My next appointment was set for Feb 15th , She messaged me again later Friday night saying if I can come in a later time or to reschedule. When I already waited a whole month for this?! I said no, I don't want to reschedule and wanted for her to issue a refund. Mind you my card was already charged since the day I set that appointment. She replied back saying "sure , I'll ask my boss.. " I was being really patient. I sent her another message just to get an update and she did not respond to any of my messages. I called the salon and of course they don't answer their phone. She is not reliable and very unprofessional. Please stay away from people like that. Why have early appointments if you're not going to be available.. I paid for a service that was not done!! Horrible customer service. read more

Found this place on ig and let me tell you do not always believe stuff you see on social media!!! She charges 3x for some brow lamination ugh she wanted to reschedule my appt even tho I booked accordingly for my upcoming wedding. What's the point of a appointment if your going to reschedule!!! I booked out weeks in advance, I told her I couldn't reschedule and to cancel the appointment and then she made up some excuse and that she can see me. When I came to the location it was so awkward, I felt so unwelcome. And of course she finished her friend no wonder she wanted to reschedule because she had someone over at that time. I'm not sure whether she only cares about certain customers or just doesn't know how to run a business, but she is unprofessional. She charges 2-4x as much as other threaders which would be fine if she was on time and professional. She constantly moves appointments around at the last minute and ignores client communication. Like the other poster, I gave her chances but each time she was either late/canceling for personal reasons or using her phone while doing my brows. I found brow essence online and liked all their pics so I decided to book an appointment. When I arrived dani didn't greet me, didn't introduced herself nor asked me how I wanted my brows , she just told me to sit down. She had 3 other girls with her and she used me to show them how to thread. I have anxiety so I didn't speak up for myself but I was uncomfortable! I just wanted to get my brows done in peace, not have multiple people in my face talking about me. At the end my brows were okay, I paid and left. A month later, I needed my brows done so I decided to go here again. When I walked in she was on a phone call. Again she didn't greet me she just told me to sit down. She was on the phone the whole time while doing my brows! This time when she was done, my brows were horrible. She thinned them out, threaded half of my brow off , gave me no shape just a straight line. I was in disbelief but nothing can be done but to grow them back out.
