    A latte I got amazing

What a great spot! We opted to Sit in their outdoor area which is heated. It was much less crowded and noisy. The staff immediately brought us 4 waters and were helpful. We explained my daughter's nut allergy and they were mindful of it, all the food we ordered was good and big portions! Def give it a try,

Service was friendly and the food was tasty. We got there shortly after 9 on a Sunday and it wasn't too crowded. But by the time we left there was a wait. The staff were very friendly. The restaurant itself felt welcoming as well, had a diner feel to it. We ordered the greek yogurt, stack of their signature pancake, waffles with fruit and the breakfast combo with French toast. They're known for their pancakes and we can see why. It was pretty good. I wouldn't say it was the best we have ever had but still very good. The serving size of the yogurt was impressive. It came in a big bowl with granola, fruit and honey. The only thing I was disappointed with was the French toast. It was just okay. We would probably consider coming back again to try some of their numerous breakfast options.

I love coming to this place when I am in town. The ambience is really fun with multiple chocolate coated drinks and sparklers with drinks and pancakes for birthday celebrations. We sat at the bar so to be expected to services really quick, the food came out within 10 minutes. The serving sizes can probably be shared. It can get really busy there on Sunday mornings, seemingly from the post-church rush, so plan according.

The menu reads like a dissertation! Our party had to repeatedly ask our server (who was incredibly patient with us - thank you, Chastity!) for more time as we pored over the many, many tasty options listed on each laminated page. The restaurant might be named after its pancakes, but its offerings are closer to a diner-like variety, including some pasta, sandwich, and protein-centric options that would be fine for a lunch or dinner meal. On a Friday morning, service was quick and attentive. I couldn't believe how quickly our plates were delivered to our table, especially considering the size of the restaurant and the surprisingly large serving sizes. To wit, none of us were able to finish our whole orders. Customizations were readily made and carried out to a tee. One of us wanted to switch out one ingredient for another in an omelette, another preferred the dish without onions, and we all got what we wanted. Things were pretty mellow when I visited, but I've heard this restaurant gets absolutely packed on the weekends. The food itself was...fine. Nothing blew us away, but aside from some slightly over-salted potatoes, everything was decently cooked. That said, we watched with gaping mouths at some of the more dessert-like options that passed by us to other tables. There were cotton-candy structures that looked like unicorns, pancake towers carrying clouds of whipped cream, and milkshakes that gave me a sugar high just looking at it. So while our own meals might have been on the boring side, I'm sure those who are daring enough (and with more forgiving metabolisms than I) might rave about their meals here. There's a small parking lot right by the restaurant, and an even larger one when you pull further into the lot.

We love this place! The food is so good. Worth the 20 min wait in the freezing cold. To be fair, we came here on a Sunday brunch time and the wait wasn't bad considering how popular this place is. The food and staff were all great. The place is so cute. All locations are adorable. We've never visited this location but it did not disappoint. We cannot wait to go back.

We came on a nice, wonderful spring day and was seated in the outdoor area where the pulled down the windows. The weather and breeze was perfect and soothing to the soul. Had a maple latte which was good and came with lotta creme, but prob would just go for reg coffee next time. Tries the short rib skillet special and I could barely finish half. Oh had plenty of room between tables so could fit our stroller and sleeping baby. Parking can be tough on a busy day, but we were able to snag a spot after a few minutes. Felt busy but the wait was only twenty mins on a sat around 11am. Our server was a little slow or less attentive to us it felt.., forgot our utensils and had to ask for other stuff a few times, but other than that it was fine.

I've been to Brownstone Englewood Cliffs a few times but never left a review--so here it is! Went for breakfast, and as expected, the food was great. There was a wait (as usual), and the ambience is on the louder side, but that's part of the vibe. The food came out warm, portions were HUGE, and the drinks? AMAZING (It's 5 o'clock somewhere, right?). My only complaint: y'all need a bigger space with more parking! If anyone from the restaurant is reading this, please make it happen! Would definitely recommend and will be back.

Great brunch spot and perfect for kids who love crazy shakes! Might be a wait but trust me it'll be worth it. Pancakes are delicious but especially warm. Drink options are also delicious!

Protein pancakes with eggs, turkey, bacon and chicken sausage. It was delicious!.

I've been to this location several times only for breakfast and each time was very special. This diner has the most extensive breakfast menu I've ever seen for a diner. They have probably six pages of meals just for breakfast. So many different options for pancakes and french toast and etc. Several different healthy options for a guy like me, including protein pancakes with egg whites and turkey bacon. Although I've never ordered one, they have a whole page dedicated to milkshakes. They are each $20 and seem like they can feed two or three people. One day I may order a milkshake. Every time I've eaten here, the service has been impeccable. My waitresses were very nice and we're on top of refilling Waters and drinks. Also, they all had a great attitude which goes a long way. The ambiance is a typical Jersey diner just very clean and big. This place definitely gets slammed on the weekends, so if you want to eat here on a Saturday or Sunday I suggest coming very early. Each time I've eaten here it's been a weekday and there's usually no problem sitting. I ordered a healthy bowl which consisted of quinoa, eggs, vegetables and chicken sausage. It was delicious and very filling. I also ordered the protein pancakes with turkey bacon and it was very good. The pancakes did not taste bland like most protein pancakes do. I would definitely recommend this place for breakfast or lunch and I'm thinking I may come back with my kids for some milkshakes.

The food is really good, but the service sucks big time. The place is busy with people having a good time but I would imagine that anyone who got my waitress were likely frustrated as well. The lady came over to get our drink orders and I asked for coffee, my other people in my party asked for mimosas and she told me, "are you sure you only want coffee?". I told her yes and she insisted that I should have a drink. When I told her no thank you she shrugged me off and left before taking our food orders. I got her back to take the order and the food came out quickly and well served. By then I needed more coffee and I asked her to bring me more. She walked away and never came back. I had to ask someone else who earned my generous tip. The place is very nice with a good atmosphere as long as you get a good waitress.

Considering how I had an impulsive meal at McDonald's for $13 of similar portions not too long ago, Marty's is a better deal by miles. The chicken sandwich is nicely battered and arrived slathered in their house sauce that reminds me of In N Out's 'animal' sauce. I like the addition of the sweet pickles, too. And their Cole slaw is actually good; also made in house. The fries used to be thinner, which I miss. But I can't get over how good the salt and vinegar ones are. Established in 1969 on the site of the former Bicycle Club, Giovanni's Bicycle Club features irresistible flavors of Italian cuisine from family recipes using the finest ingredients. The reservation was easily made via OpenTable but was not necessary on a Sunday. Upon entering this two-story building, my partner and I were greeted by the host, and a few patrons were enjoying their meal on two enclosed outside patio decks with fans in the summer, so we joined them. The windows could be raised for that inclement weather, and heaters turned on when needed. They do have a main dining room, with the front bar much fancier. A few small bicycle artifacts make the place memorable and unique. We decided on the Philly Cheesesteak and Grilled Chicken Cobb Salad. Complimentary bread with dipping oil started our meal. The food was tasty with a healthy portion. The price was a bit pricey. The service was friendly; our server was Buket. We could recommend this place.

Jackson Hole came up in a diner list one day and its retro decor, neon sign and an Old Skool camper trailer parked out front made this a must visit location for me. My GF and I recently headed out for the 30ish minute drive to check this place out. I want to say ahead of time that my 4 stars is me feeling generous. This is "really" a 3.5 star review, but before I get into that let's talk about what's awesome. Out of all the diners I have visited in my life, this is one of my favorite in terms of decor and layout. The interior features a counter where you can sit and eat (classic). Booths with coat hooks built in line the diner and each one has a jukebox! The music is a mixture of classic and contemporary music. Want to hear Elvis followed by Lady Gaga? You can do that! The decor is filled with retro items including a display case featuring an old camera and toy diners from the past. It is a total nostalgia trip and I loved it. When you walk in there's even a pay phone encased in glass. The trailer outside is awesome, featuring a set up inside that includes a dinner setting and retro 50's/60's era furniture. The host was very friendly and had us sit anywhere so we chose a booth towards the back. I noticed a lady sitting alone in the booth behind ours (more on that in a bit). We eagerly ordered and started putting quarters into the jukebox and selected a bunch of retro music to help keep the mood nostalgic. Our waitress came by and took our order. We would later learn this is partly where some of our issues began. My GF had ordered her omelet to have egg whites, but the waitress didn't write it down so she wound up getting a regular egg omelet (she still ate it and it was okay). I ordered the buffalo wings and a turkey burger. The way the menu is laid out, I expected it to come with tomato, lettuce and fries - but for some reason they were not included and I had to ask for them after the fact. Here's the other issue, our waitress never came back to check on us. I literally watched her sitting at the counter bouncing a ball to distract herself while I was waving for someone to get me some water. I'm not saying she needed to keep a laser sharp eye on us, but coming over *once* during our meal would have been nice. For the record, there were only three other booths with customers. They were hardly overwhelmed. Had it not been for a nice waiter who was talking to the lady behind us, we wouldn't have gotten any service at all. He was great. The food was "okay" to "very good". The buffalo wings? They were super tiny and not crispy at all. The sauce was okay though. The burger was like the size of my fist so I was very impressed. The swiss cheese I requested was nicely melted on the turkey and the mushrooms in my burger were beautifully cooked. The burger was the highlight of my meal. I did eventually get fries with it but the serving was so anemic I was shocked. I think there were maybe about 10 steak fries in the order. They were good, but it was the saddest fry order I've ever seen size-wise. I tell myself that since this visit was late on a Sunday perhaps we were not gettin the "A-Team" of this diner. The nostalgic trappings are enough to bring me back again, but next time I'll try a slightly busier time in hopes of getting better service.

ATMOSPHERE (5/5) - Clean, no non-sense vibe that leans utilitarian but hey, you're here for quick bite! 2. FOOD (5/5) - Chicken was juicy, well-seasoned (not too salty!) with right amount of heat (I ordered medium spicy and taste was bolder and better vs. wife's mild which felt a bit bland) and their pickle gave a nice counterbalance. Fries were slightly "old" but full of potato flavor with that peanut oil, and the rice, the RICE in my bowl... together with the mild coleslaw (not too sweet, heavy-sauced, or acidic) was just... making symphony in my mouth. It was seriously delicious... rice... like what?! It had like that subtle halal flavor, gentle bite, and carried sauce well.
