I have lived in San Diego for four years now and have tried every prominent eyebrow salon in the San Diego area. (This includes all of the salons that are listed under eyebrow salons on yelp.) My occupation as a model requires me to be prepared for last minute "go-sees" and auditions. The one thing that I found in these salons on a consistent basis was an "elitist" attitude. The girls shaping the eyebrows were rude, the receptionists were rude and management was rude. Especially the girls that trained under Anastacia have this snotty, pretentious way about them and are completely rude to their clients. Except for one girl, Lindsay at Browtique. I went to Browtique for the very first time recently and the atmosphere in here was so warm and welcoming and Lindsay and the staff were so down to earth and friendly that I couldn't believe that Lindsay had actually trained under Anastacia and didn't have the "snobby personality" that every other person who has trained under Anastacia in San Diego has! Lindsay is amazing, the staff at Browtique is amazing and my eyebrows......for the first time since I have moved to San Diego.....are amazing. I've been a client of Karin, the aestetician at Browtique, for four years and I'd follow her anywhere! She keeps my skin looking great (and young!) She's the only one I trust with my face (with enough experiences elsewhere) for microdermabrasion, chemical peels, waxing, and dermaplaning-hands down. As a result, I'm comfortable going without make-up for workouts, etc which is a huge change from before I started seeing Karin, and much more convenient. She's great at knowing how to get the results I want, and she also helped me out tremendously with a makeup consult and application before my wedding last summer. The girls at Browtique are amazingly sweet and know what they are doing when it comes to shaping brows! I used to have super thin brows and since I have started to get them done by Krista and Lindsay my face has a softer look and my brows have a great shape! I will never go anywhere else for my brows again. I have also gotten my hair done by Casey and he gave me a great blow out plus a wonderful rich brown hair color. Browtique is the best little secret in Rancho Santa Fe tucked away in this cute little spot. The owner Dee Bush is so professional and gave me the best service I have ever had she set me up an appointment with Alexis who is by far the best eyebrow artist I've ever had touch my Brows I also had my hair colored by Canale and I heard he does allot of stars and so I assume that's why when I left my hair looked like a movie stars I was so impressed with everything and everyone and I know I will be a client for many years to come. read more

Alexis is a friend of my daughter's and we went to her while I was visiting my daughter in SD. This was only the 2nd time I have had my eyebrows waxed and Alexis was very professional and fun as she re-shaped my brows...something I have wanted for a LONG time! I am 60 years old and she made me look so much younger!! She also gave me an eyelash tint, dermaplaned my skin (which I had never had done) and waxed my lip. Browtique is great! Some "brow,-facial-type spas" are filled with "uppity" staff members who can make the experience less than enjoyable,...but that's not Browtique! The whole staff is soooo friendly and they make the experience of having anything & everything waxed very comfortable. I go to Alexis and she is the best! Browtique is great! I just went for the first time today.. I should also mention this was my first time coloring/tinting etc. anything! I've never even colored my hair bc I'm blonde (so blonde brows and lashes aka invisible). Annalise tinted my brows a super natural light brown, and tinted my lashes to make my eyes pop. The whole thing was relatively quick and painless. I'm overall very pleased with the experience and the results! I would recommend this place to anyone! read more
