I completely agree with the reviews that point out the complete lack of customer service. I didn't have any issues with my repairs. I did have questions about billing. I was told that they would get in touch with "corporate" and get back to me. I never heard from anyone and when I called to see what was going on I was told that an email was sent to corporate and that someone "might" email me. I asked if I could get the number for "corporate" so that I could call them and was told that they don't have a phone number for "corporate", only an email that they were not able to give me. I am still working to get this resolved with very little assistance from their end. read more

1 star review for false advertising. They advertise on their webside that "repairs are guaranteed for life as long as you own the vehicle". We had our vehicle repaired here with pretty much no issues. Included in the repair was a new headlight assembly. In that headlight assembly is a daytime running led strip that no longer works and cant be replaced individually. Only fix is a new assembly which they DO NOT COVER. The estimator argued with me that they only cover paint and body work. Sorry thats not what your website says. Your website says "repairs" not repairs on paint and body work. And the paint chipping on my bumper is also not considered covered because it came repainted from the factory. So even body work isn't fully covered. You need to honor your advertised guarantee or change/amend your website to exclude certain repairs​. read more

I am forced to give at least one star. My vehicle was sent there(not my choice) for paint repair by the dealership that I'm going through. The first time my vehicle comes back, the paint job was terrible as they didn't fix the problem and they scratched my bumper. The second time, the paint work was completed however they didn't align the bumper correctly. So some of the gaps are not even and now im concerned that it is putting stress on something else that might cause a clip or something to break. So yes i am still dealing with this issue. My response to these folks is this, When I picked up my Vehicle In question why items wasn't replaced what was requested. Again I got the excuse response and they made me feel it was my fault even though I bought and Brought what they requested. After their actions I tried to resonate with Management/ Owner and they basically said we are done get out!!!not acceptable for their actions. Their response is I purchased aftermarket parts that don't fit which isn't true. I purchased Mercedes parts. They installed only one side and said oh well that's all you wanted. If I have to post 100 reviews I will to make sure no one else will be treated the way I was. Even on their yelp response they accept no blame!!! Used this shop twice because their prices were great. The first time it took 9 days for a five day job. After inspecting the car on the 8th day, I noted that two items from the original estimate had not been completed so they needed an additional day to complete the repairs. Second car, more of the same, an obvious part of the initial repair was not done then they charged me extra ($50) to do it when it should have been included. The worst part was they failed to fade the paint to match the existing paint so we paid an additional $600.00 to have them repaint the faded sections to match the new work. We also noted the AM/FM antenna was broken but couldn't remember if it was that way when we brought the car in so we paid to have that replaced as well. On the plus side, everyone was easy to work with and there was no push back when we identified the issues. Nevertheless while the overall quality of the work seems excellent, after two experiences with too many issues I will not use them again. read more

I looked around the car and the paint work didn't look that good to me and in spots it had an orange peeling effect in the paint. We put the car on the lift. The work they did underneath wasn't bad. The motor guard in the front was still damaged. I told Mike that had to be replaced. He said no problem. The car was lowered we looked at the hood and trunk. I told Mike that they were very crooked and tilted and not put on well at all and there was bad repair work in the opening of the trunk as well. I noticed Dry Spray in the quarters of the rear of the car he said at that time that's where they tried to blend the paint work. I said wait a minute you told me the car was going to be painted everywhere except for the roof. Again at that time Mike said he would take care of that as well. We put together a punch list of things that had to be done. I also bought up that the inside of my car was still dirty. He said it would be taken care of. Again in my opinion my car looked terrible the work was done poorly. I wish I had taken pictures of it at that time. But I didn't. I called Mike the next day first thing in the morning to tell him how sick I was over the poorly done paint and repair work. That this needed to be fixed. He told me they were working on the car and he understood how I felt. Then told me it would be done. The next time I showed up to pickup the car. The hood and trunk were put on better and the bad body work was redone in the opening of the trunk. But there was now over spray on the taillights and the car had a scratch on the side of it.. There was overspray on spots of the car. The car was still dirty inside as well. I asked to see Mike. The woman at the front desk told me he was on vacation. I told her at that time the car looked bad. I think I said the paint work looks like crap! She was very polite and said she would get Steve to help me. So I went outside to look at the car some more. Well who comes out the door to help me? The Owner himself, Bruce! I Reached out my hand to shake his and as I did this he looks me right in the eyes and says in a shity tone. What's the problem?! So I carmly tried to start to explainin what I had found. Then he cut me off rudely and said do you know how much work we have done on this car! At this point I was done. I looked at Mr rude as hell and said well if you did it right the first time you wouldn't have to do it again would you?! That slowed him down for a second. Then he said so what? What is wrong with it? As I pointed out how the corner work on the bumper was repaired the second time on one side but it was still bad on the other. Mr Rude and unprofessional told me again we did a lot of work on this car and I'm not fixing that bumper again. So I showed him were paint was missing and over spray on the taillights and that the car was still dirty inside. He again said this car looks fine but I'll fix the overspray and the missing paint. But that's it. I looked Mr Rude in the face and said you will fix this car and if you don't it's your name on it! He muttered some crap under his breath I really couldn't make out what he was saying. I then again said I don't care what you have to say fix it! It's your name on the work that is done and I will be back tomorrow to pick it up! He stormed off like a three year old. The pictures I have attached to this review are from the next day when I picked it up. Headlight on driver's side sticking out. A scratch on the driver's side. Crap under the paint. And a dirty car inside. I will never take another car to Bruce's super body shop ever again. I went to Bruce's to get my passenger door fix, so I went there to get a estimated they told me the have to replace the door cuz the door has a bar in the door for safety that can not be fix, after days they told me my car was ready, so I went there, thinking my door was replace, but I start checking my door, and I can see my door it's the same, they did I horrible job painting my door, and just removing the big hole was in my door that also has a screw coming out from my door, if they gonna do that what they didn't say that on the first time when I was bringing my car we will remove the hole and paint the door, and not telling me they have to replace the door cuz the bars in the door was damage and they have to replace the door, they just give me my car without telling me the job they did to my car, now I'm scare the my door will not support any accident.... In December 2020 my new car was in for minor body work here. All I can say is that this entire experience at Bruce's was superb. The work done on my vehicle was finished earlier than expected and looked as good as new. The waiting room was clean. The staff were all pleasant and helpful at all times. We took my car to this body shop after a rear end collision. The first time the car was picked up the bumber was not secure. Bolts were not bolted down, my badges were not replaced, the invoice stated that the trunk lid was replaced as well. However this was not completed. Per the invoice these are supposed to be all new parts. The trunk lid still has tree sap damage that was present prior to the accident. The tail light was not replaced as you can still see the soil in cracks around the tail light. The seal around the trunk lid is not flush and day light can be seen through the cracks. The bumber is still not seated correctly. This has been the worse service ever. Ebby's is a far better location. I will be reporting this back to the insurance carrier as well as the SCC for the state of Virginia. We have been unsucessful in speaking to the tech that serviced our vehicle, the senior tech is never available. This is just unacceptable service. No pride in their work. DO NOT USE THIS SHOP IF YOU WANT QUALITY WORK. read more

I recently had repairs at another body shop due to being rear-ended. A couple years prior, Bruces repaired/ repainted a quarter panel. I received a call from the body shop that repaired the bumper, the paint used on the quarter panel is the wrong color (they blended the color on the door next to the quarter panel). It is quite obvious the color of the bumper against the quarter panel. The other side of the car matches. I addressed this with Bruces, but since I don't have my paper work (my fault), they won't even discuss it. I guess they only use computers to send out bills. If use this body shop, be sure to retain your paperwork, you will need it. read more

Currently have a vehicle in the shop...I don't like rushing the job or any other job. Quality tends to go down when this is done. I was told that vehicle is ready for pickup. First attempt, Paint shop looks like they did a great job. Alignment and body needs better quality control. Found 4 things that was not fix (either pieces missing or not put together correctly) from accident (not my fault). I was told that they would have it fix by close of business and I can pick it up. Second attempt, they basically didn't do anything. Was it too close to end of day? If so, a phone call would of been helpful. I left the vehicle there. I had a small scratch, about a inch long, on the rear quarter panel. The car, a 2012 Lexus was in perfect condition inside and out. Although it was six years old it only had 16,000 miles on it. I had a buyer for the car and wanted the scratch fixed as soon as possible. They told me that they would have to, in addition to painting the scratch, would have to clear coat the entire rear quarter panel and remove the rear bumper cover. The body shop reported that the entire rear quarter had been repainted, which was not the case. Not only did they charge almost $500.00 for this less than an inch scratch, the way they reported almost cost me another $1,000 in depreciation. They worked on my fiance's car with no issues. Did a pretty good job with it, however when I went to get an estimate for my damage that I was going to pay for myself, they could not do it. The reason: I bought my own part brand new, still in box, but "they do not accept parts bought off property". The estimator himself told me it was a way for them to make money. While I appreciate the honesty, it is definitely not a place I would be willing to go to in the future based on that policy alone. People have a right to buy their own parts, but business owners have the right to have that policy as well. Went to Bruce's to get an estimate on my vehicle. Mikie the estimator was very helpful and explained the repairs to be done to my vehicle very well. Left my vehicle for the repairs. While my vehicle was in for a 4 day repair they called me to provide me updates on the Repairs. When I picked up my car the repairs was perfect, couldn't even tell the vehicle was in an accident !!!! They even washed my car and cleaned the inside at no charge. Not once did I even have to get involved with the insurance company, they handled it all. I just picked up mt 20?Taurus and they did an excellent, flawless job especially since the color used was quite sophisticated (a metallic burgundy.I received an initial estimate from them which I submitted to USAA. THy fulfilled the estimate. Mt only complaint was the man who gave the estimate tod me ord=ally that he could touch up some spots in back for a minimal amount more which he listed on the estimate. Do not bring your car here if you value it at all. Brought mine after someone bumped me. Specifically asked that the license plate frame be repaired - did not happen. Poorly fixed the original issue. Left chocolate or some dark substance on my seat and down the side of my cup holder. I know it wasn't mine because I use a three inch cushion on the seat due to short stature. The cushion was in the back, exposing the mess on the seat. Floor mats were filthy, obviously not covered while they were working on my vehicle. But the worst part is that there were new gouges around my cup holder, on my back bumper and a scratch in the paint on the back. They (unsurprisingly) denied responsibility, even though the gouges in the bumper were obviously very fresh, the plastic was still tipped up and clean, and they've had my car for the last week. Waiting on a call from the owner but doubt it will help since everyone I talk to now says, "yeah, they are cheap and horrible." read more
