3.15.24: First time in and wanted to grab lunch before making the drive back home. I was caught off guard when I walked in and discovered there's 2 restaurants in 1! Not only is it a cheese steak restaurant but it's also a Mexican restaurant, called Senior Froggy's. I'll be back to try their Mexican food. I ordered the medium French dip (6 in) and a side of 3 bread sticks with Alfredo sauce. The bread sticks were hot and soft and the Alfredo sauce was on the thinner side, but very yummy and preferred for dipping. The French dip had pretty good flavor and the au jus was just salty enough to blend perfectly with the sandwich. Service was great and the ladies working were smiling and friendly. Decided to try the new Bruchis on Sprague last week. The food was ok however when I received my 12 inch sandwich it was not cut in half. I took my sandwich to the counter to request if they could cut it. I was told you have to request the cut in advance. So they refused to cut it. I did not enjoy that experience of tearing my sandwich so I could eat it. Made a mess and really just poor customer service. Then the single toilet is also an issue. You have to race the employees to use it. My mother who is 83 needed to use and employee raced to beat her keeping her waiting for over 7 minutes. ​ read more

Well I've been going to this location forever and generally they do a good job but lately, hmmmm. Not so much. So I ordered a chicken primavera with extra cheese and was so excited because this is my splurge for eating out. Not only was there no extra cheese, the meat was so dry it was sticking to my teeth. Ordered the husbands' sandwich extra meat extra cheese. They did fine on the extra meat but again the cheese was missing. This is a chain, and I'd say in frequenting many of them the food quality is pretty consistent between all of them. I'd say their take out experience is best and the food holds up well for a short drive home. Big fan of their cheese steak. Specifically their one w bacon, etc. read more

I looked up the review before going here and it was a 3 star. Figured I'd give it a try anyway. Right when I walked in there were 3 angry guests. The lady kept saying they didn't have hot sauce, and ended up they do. Another ordered $60 worth of food and needed a receipt and they couldn't provide him with one. I don't usually write bad reviews, but this place deserves it! This is a combo senor froggys, Italian and bruchis. There were only 3 other people in the restaurant and lots of girls working in the kitchen. They were all laughing it up and not coming out to wait on the customers. One gal finally came out and took our order. I ordered cranberry walnut salad. And my husband had a club sandwich and fries. The salad had no meat on it. Usually comes w chicken. It had lettuce, craisins, and walnuts. Dry and boring. The dressing was good but I was not impressed. I had to go back and ask for a fork. My husband is not very picky but he said the sandwich was not well made. The fries were the best part of the meal and the soda pop. The place was also dirty. I waited at window patiently but would not except when they asked me to pull forward to the side area so they could help line of cars waiting behind me. I had already been waiting in line for 30 minutes? I was not going to drive forward and wait for my sandwich. I said no thank you. They got another girl who commanded that I drive forward, sorry that is your only option. I said no thank you give me a refund at which point she rolled her eyes, closed the window, within 15 seconds, stuffed the bag that had been sitting there my entire time with my sandwich in it with fries, opened the window and shoved my meal at me and snarled, HERE'S YOUR FOOD! So my question, if my sandwich was ready the whole time and fries within seconds why would you try to make me sit and wait? Awful customer service! I give those two girls ZERO stars but last time I was there maybe week before the guy who was working was super friendly so trying not to tank the entire crew for their attitudes. Honestly, I had wondered if they slighted me because I didn't tip on the receipt? I do tip but afterwards in cash based on how I'm treated. I have made 2 trips to this place and have not been disappointed. There are plenty of sub places in Spokane and the valley, and I have checked out plenty. Most have lived up to their reputation but I never saw Bruchi's in the mix, so I thought I would give it a go. They don't have a huge menu for cold sandwiches, but they do have your standards: Roast beef, Ham, Roast Turkey, Veggie and a couple of "mixed meat" sandwiches, like the Italian: Ham, Pepperoni and Salami, which is what I ordered. Topping wise its just lettuce, tomatoes, your cheese, mayo, oil and spices. All of this is great (generous toppings)....... But where they beat all competition, IMHO, is their bread. This establishment has really gone down hill. We have been gone from Spokane for a few years and was looking forward to having a Brucci's Cheesestake. On arrival I was really taken at how dirty the place was. Floors, tables and walls were just simply filthy. We ordered anyway and looked to find a clean table. As there was none we asked the girl behind the counter to please wipe a table for us. She reluctantly grabbed a towel and wiped one down. When we sat down it was apparent she just spread the filth around. We changed our order to go. I might also mention that the place was not busy at all, and the kids behind the counter were just hanging around when we arrived The food was as good as I remembered. I dislike leaving less than positive reviews. I have been going to this location for 10 years or so. My last two experiences though were disappointing. First recent experience . They gave me the wrong order. I always get my order to go. Very frustrating. The more recent experience. The guy who made the sandwich did not get the order correct either. He is about to hand me my order and then realizes he made the wrong sandwich and instead of offering to make it correctly he simply added the missing items.
