I stopped into this particular location and was incredibly impressed with how clean it was! Everywhere you looked, in all the corners, booths, window sills, not a speck of dirt. I ordered the daily special, a double cheeseburger, their famous fries and a drink. The total before tax was $9.99. Most places with a basic combo have risen to $15-18. The restaurant was dirty and didn't look like they cared much for cleanliness in the kitchen from what I could see. The customer service was very rushed and bland and the food taste it off and I couldn't eat all of it. The prices are absolutely ridiculous for the very small amount you get made and stored in questionable conditions, Too many people without hair nets with long hair and beards. It was a cloudy night on September 6th, me and my 3 friends had just gotten done with the county fair, tired, hangry, riddled with whiplash from poorly secured rides. There was nothing but doom and oh so much gloom in my car. But then, we met MIKE. This man single handedly saved all of us. Not only was this the best customer service i have ever seen, but I bore witness to the best dancing to "Yeah!" By Usher Ive ever seen. Mike, is a one man show, a wonderful dancer, and had 4 people crying laughing. While this was the most entertaining and single best drive thru trip of my life, we still got our food in a timely fashion, and everything was wonderful! Mike, you charmed and swindled $35 in tips out of 4 people, because it's a communal agreement that you deserve a raise. read more

Local flair with great quality and prices. Such a great drive-in burger experience! The burgers were so savory, well-sized, and a great value. I ordered the #1 which came exactly how I prefer, sans condiments. Just cheese, bacon, burgers, and pickles. Way larger than your standard McDouble. And way tastier. My husband ordered the Fishwich and was pleasantly surprised! A thick filet with great crunch and moisture and without being greasy! Came with tater sauce (so good!), cheese, and lettuce. Oh! And their crinkle fries! Typically I'm not a fan of this shape, but their's are skinnier and crispier than most! Enjoyed with fry and tartar sauce! We topped it off with a butterscotch shake and soda. The shakes are basically thick soft serve in a cup and are extremely smooth. They provide PepsiCo products in their fountain machines. We can't wait to come back for fish and chips or a chicken sandwich! The staff was incredibly kind, polite, and worked incredibly well together. They really had a system down and catered to many orders in the short time we were there. This location is blessed to have such a great team! read more

When I lived west of the mountains, I got fish and chips at least biweekly. I was hoping to find a new place to get my fix and no, Zip's isn't it. The fish just tasted a little fishy. I violated my dad's rule of not ordering seafood further than 100 miles inland but heck, it was worth a shot. The tartar sauce was good, and I appreciated the lemon wedges. Fries were fine. Why five stars? It was more or less exactly what I expected from fast food fish 'n' chips. I might be back, but probably not when the Skippers up the street is open. read more

Stopped in last night on the way home for a chocolate malt . . . very good, although a little pricey for a 'regular' size (nearly $5). However, on a Saturday night with no one inside and one vehicle at the drive-thru, I waited 4-5 minutes for the shake because the car in front of me was waiting on an order. Zips Employees, you have two (2) reserved parking spots for people awaiting orders; Use them and you will avoid annoying customers with excessive waits. read more

I come into town and look forward to eating here and this was the most disappointing experience I have ever had at a Zips in Spokane ever. First the red headed girl in the drive through was the rudest person I've come in contact with recently and I do postmates. Then the food was crap, the cheese wasn't even close to melting, the bread was dry and barely any condiments on it and the meat was cold. There was a time in my life when I made it my life's mission to visit every Zip's location (this time was high school). Don't judge me. Too hard. Anyway, taking my Zip's connoisseur status seriously, I can't actually say that this is one of the better Zip's locations. The food is pretty good for fast food, and it's pretty much the same that you'll see in any location. But the weirdest and most disconcerting thing is that the bathroom is outside. Like, you have to leave and go outside to come back in a separate door to go to the bathroom. Aside from that, the place feels a little run-down, and isn't all that comfortable inside. If you're in the mood to dine in at a Zip's, pick a different location. read more

A year and a half later since becoming a Spokane resident, I finally decided to try Zips today! I had been told it was great and others have said it was bad. Well, I decided to try it for lunch today, I liked the crinkle cut fries - crispy and golden brown and the tartar sauce was delicious. The cheeseburger wasn't bad. The veggies (lettuce, onion, tomato) needs to be fresher and crisper. The strawberry shake was made with real strawberries and it comes w a jumbo straw, I liked that. Overall I like Zips and I would prefer it over other typical burger/fry fast food joints. P.S. The staff were great!! I really would have prefer to give it 3.5 stars instead of 4, but that wasn't an option. read more

I go to this location all the time. Usually it's good, when it's the experienced employees. Every time it's a new employee they screw it up! I ordered a 4 piece chicken today for the special and he didn't know the special and rang me up for a 3 piece. So he overcharged me for less food. He also only gave me one dipping sauce. Willing to retract at least part of the initial review. I have gone back and ordered chicken/fish on the days they are on special. But that's about it. I still 100% stand by my comments about their burgers and prices. Even when the double cheese is $3.50 on Tuesday it is absolutely not worth it. But their fish/chicken is decent enough, especially when it is $4.50. I also think this location has the best tartar of any Zip's I've eaten at. So basically do what the owner or whoever replied to my initial review said. Only eat stuff that is on special that day and preferably make it chicken and fish since that is what's good here. Ok this review is only for the halibut price. Everything else is pretty decent and far exceeds McDonalds which isn't even food IMO. But... When you go to Zips you can get a 4 piece fish with fried for 5.98 (cod) The EXACT same amount of fish and fries in halibut form is 16.99!! WHAT FIR THE LOVE OF F¢€K is up with that? I know halibutcis generally more than cod everywhere but when I can go to Apebees, IR ANYWHERE in town and have a halibut entree with a salad and get FAR more pieces (usually one or two nice fillet cuts) for the same price and have ambiance, someone wait on me and evencpark my car and put me back in it for the same price something is seriously wrong here. The "fillet" IR piece they give you is 5 tiny just barely over the size of a frozen tater tots and one was smaller in a bed if fris is ludicrous for 16.99. Seriously, go in and hypothetically order it and ask about the portion you get for 16.99. I'm not making a single thing up whatsoever. Hell I can go have crab at the Davenport for literally 3.00 more!!!! 19.99 and it's AMAZING! and Im not eating in my car or a shittyvlittle public cafeteria atmosphere. Zips, just take the crap off your menu. It's making you look ridiculous, seriously. I don't know who your seafood purveyor is but if they cant get you halibut cheaper then you're doing something wrong.
