My roommate ordered the French Dip and he said my pic doesn't do justice compared to its awesome tastiness...he was so impressed and enamored with the quality of meat that he didn't really need the au ju--which is unheard for my roommate lol. On another note, they offer a ton of hot sauces and I tried, Melinda's Ghost Pepper, and it was so fiery good that I'm gonna find myself some. If you like heat, try it! Yummy. Had the Pastrami Melt, side salad with ranch, and Smackaroni pasta salad. Tender meat and delicious sauce on the sandwich, bread was soft and a thinner hoagie roll (perfect size). The salad was served with 3 small sides of dressing (plenty for the salad - most places you have to ask). The salad ingredients were fresh and crispy - seemed like the croutons were homemade. I told our waitress that I couldn't remember the last time my husband gave his lunch a 10/10. He even texted a buddy afterwards to tell him just how amazing his lunch was! Parmesan Crusted Sourdough bread. I had no idea this was a thing. Why didn't I know about this earlier? I feel like entire swaths of my life have been wasted eating normal bread when there's Parmesan-crusted sourdough out there waiting to be eaten. So I got the Parker Stack. My companion got the Roasted Garlic and Swiss Dip. To say that we enjoyed the would be an understatement. The meat was good. The cheese was good and melted. The parmesan crusted bread was freaking awesome. We both left stuffed. Heck, even the pickle spear was great. This place was packed at 1:30 in the afternoon and I can see why. This place is AWESOME! We don't have a great sandwich shop over in the Seattle area (that I know of). This place was recommended to my co-worker and I from the folks at TA PETRO and were explicitly told to get the Spicy Reuben. All I'll say is that they were right and I say dream about this sandwich all the time now. The spicy Reuben will be my go-to whenever I come back to visit but with such a large menu I wanna try them all. The sauerkraut blended perfectly with the sandwich even if you're not a fan of it (I promise!). The panini bread was so soft and delicious although I'm told the jalapeño rolls are better. And the chipotle ranch dipping sauce is boss! This sandwich is a must. Spice level maybe around a 2.5/5 so if you're not into spicy is not that bad, JUST TRY IT. We also had the Smackys cheesesteak which I understand is their own take on it. Overall it was a 6.5/10 for me. The steak was great and the bun was super soft but I was not a fan of all the extra toppings on top. I would totally be down to try the OG Cheesesteak version if they ever decided to try that out (maybe with some added jalapeños). The potato salad was also probablllllly one of my favorites and I eat a lot of potato salad. Not a huge fan of pure mustard base salads and this did not that that. You could really taste the garlic with every bite and get some of that paprika on top. The sandwiches were packed. Most places you go, tend to not give you much on the sandwich in terms of meat, but not here! Smacky's is one of our go-to spots. The only reason it's not 5 stars is because of the price and hours. Unfortunately they're not open on weekends and close pretty early during the week day. So it's pretty much just a lunch spot. The sandwiches are pretty pricey, but they do give a ton of meat so it's a good size sandwich. There are several tables inside, most of which have a box of trivial pursuit cards. Soda is purchased by the can but I would recommend their iced tea that has endless refills. I've never had a bad meal here so order whatever and I'm certain you'll enjoy it. And finally the table area is always clean and the staff always friendly.
