Bagels have always been one of my all time favorite breakfast for on the go. Give me a freshly toasted, slightly chewy, insanely tasty bagel every day and call me a happy girl. And this location has some of the best!!! And so many choices! Can I even pick my favorite? Nope! That's why I typically get one for now and something for later. I'm a pretty traditional gal with just straight up whipped cream cheese however today I was extra hungry. I needed something a bit more.... like the Double Stack. This thing come on a cheesy hashbrown bagel!!!! With bacon! Eggs and cheese! Delicious!!!! Huge!!! Absolutely enough to share. For me, I missed some of that tangy creamy bite from my normal order so I would add a side of cream cheese the next time I order this option. The crew working today was warm and welcoming. I know some of the other reviews mention less than steller service but I experienced none of that. The cashier was exceptionally helpful in helping me pick out something new. No lettuce or other toppings either. I could understand if we were near closing but mid shift not having over half your menu is bad. They're lucky they are one of the few quick breakfast places in this area. I've been a customer this Bruegger's for almost 30 years. It used to be one of my favorite places to get breakfast or lunch. I really enjoy their bagels and I think they're some of the best in the Cleveland area. However, the service is gone completely in the toilet. They now force you to place an order before they prepare anything. I placed the order for a dozen bagels, half of which were whole wheat everything bagels. When it came time to fill the order, they only had three bagels available and I had to select the non-whole wheat ones. The problem is that they charge a premium for some of their bagels in particular the whole wheat ones. They refuse to give me a refund for the difference. Also, they have an employee that's been working there for quite a while that has dreadlocks and does not wear a hairnet. I think this is against health regulations. read more

I've been to Bruegger's countless times, and almost always, what I get is of amazing quality! The wait for the food itself isn't too long, but due to its popularity, it can often take awhile to order in line. Their bagels by themselves are amazing, and with their flavored cream cheeses, an amazing breakfast or lunch! I highly recommend their sandwiches, such as the Leonardo de Veggie, Western, Sriracha Egg, Honey Sriracha Sunrise, Chicken Bagel Sandwiches, and more! My go to cream cheese flavors are strawberry and honey walnut, and I love the blueberry, Parmesan cheese, rosemary (!) and olive oil, everything, cinnamon sugar, and their seasonal pumpkin bagel! They have a wide variety of drinks as well and have sandwiches and salads for non-bagel lovers. (I usually get coffee, and while strong, with some milk, is great too!) The service is terrible. I live in the area and we get breuggers a lot because it's convenient. We have had multiple issues with orders being wrong (we're lucky if it's every actually right,) but the worst service was when I ordered curbside and nobody came to bring my order. When I went inside, there were no other customers and the girl said that a ticket didn't print of the make/model of my car. Here is my ticket that was attached to my bag. I absolutely love my morning stop at Bruegger's for a Bacon, Egg, & Cheese on a Rosemary Olive Oil bagel... breaks up the monotony of my morning. I stopped in for lunch today - got the Sundrenched Tomato & Bagel salad... I'll give my selection an A+, its delish! The decor of the place makes me feel at home - it's nice & quaint. As for the staff - everyone has always been very nice to me... I read the other guy's review - & if they're rude it's probably because of the attitude you come in with. Working in a bank for five years taught me how to communicate more effectively with people in the service industry - it's called patience! :) On Wednesdays (at least right now) you can get a dozen bagels for $5.99. Fantastic deal. My favorites are definitely the jalapeño cheddar, cinnamon sugar, & rosemary olive oil. I used to love Bruegger's. I have seen and heard that it has declined in the recent year. The appearance of the store indicates that as well. However, I still had money on my account so I wanted to use it before the inevitable permanent closing. I ordered ahead for 2 breakfast sandwiches for my two high schoolers to pick up on their way to school. Order went through (and yes, it was the Brecksville location) and I was charged the $16. After arriving at work, I get a text from my son saying that no order went through, they got no mobile order, and there was no food for them. They went on to school. I double-checked my account and the order DID go through and I was charged. Drove to the restaurant around 8:00 am and the door was locked. Got someone to finally answer and showed them my account on my phone with the order. Was basically told, "yeah, sorry, can't refund you." They offered to make the sandwiches for another day. But after seeing how things looked behind the counter I'm not sure I want my kids ingesting any food from there anyway. read more

I stop here every few months when I am in the area, and have only been able to use their app to get a reward of something like free coffee, but today I went for a different reason. I made a special trip to Brecksville to get a Big Bagel Bundle and my birthday reward of a Bagel and Cream Cheese. What a mistake! My husband ordered the bagels but did not know how to use the app so I went in to finish the purchase. First of all I was told that the only bagel bundle with a coupon was for 6 bagels. Well I wasn't using a coupon for this, so I let the staff member know that I needed to add the 2 cream cheeses. Hopefully that has not changed. I paid for the bagels and in claiming my birthday bagel with cheese, showed her the app the way I always have. No dice. She told me that I need to use the order ahead function in the app. Puzzled, I asked when that became the method used and was told "a couple of months ago." I asked about the procedure and was told it's an outside app and they have nothing to do with it. I said the bagel bundle was my purchase to qualify for the gift. Pretty much I was told I was too late because I hadn't ordered ahead by app. I went out to the car and tried four times to order my gift and another bagel with cheese as my purchase. Finally the purchase went through requiring I add a credit card to my account and put at least $5 on the card. I went back in and she was unaware that I had ordered anything. Apparently they aren't notified when an order is placed. She went over to the checkout desk, printed out a paper and said "I can't do that because your husband bought the last sesame bagel." Um, I didn't know why not just ask what bagel I want instead? So she made something, put it in a bag, and handed it to me. I peeked and a asked where is the other sandwich? Well that's when everything turned to poop, although should have known it would. The app only worked for the paid bagel and not the other bagel. I specifically checked to see that I had ordered 2, one free. I tried to return it and get my money back because there was no way in hell that she was going to help me. Over and over, no matter how I tried to show her how I placed the order, she kept saying the app is outside our system. We don't know anything about it. We can't fix it. I was trying so hard to keep my temper, but her answers were so stunningly stupid, I finally grabbed the bag and said something about her not knowing a damn thing. She said call the company. I did. The phone call was made and the message on the phone was we don't talk to customers, fill out an online form. I did. I never heard a thing. I may be old, but I am techie, and thiscwas not the first app I have ever used. Your Brecksville store stinks as well as your app and your corporate office. I always forget about their delicious sandwich options, so if I go in planning to just get a bagel, I always end up dithering about maybe getting a sandwich instead! always come here in the mornings if i need a quick bagel fix, or even later in the day sometimes. i usually have very good service, but occasionally, i have to wait a little longer than usual for just a bagel. i love their variety of cream cheeses and bagel flavors, but at times, there's almost no bagels in stock. sometimes they also put WAY too much cream cheese on my bagel. so if there's any way they could train the workers to keep it a little lighter that'd be really nice. overall still love coming here for convenient and fresh bagels though! read more

I went to Brueggers to pick up bagels for the office and coffee for myself. I used to go to the one in Stow regularly and assumed that all locations are equally great. Not true. I had to tell them what I wanted three times. I actually had to explain how many bagels are in two dozen. The coffee is terrible. It tastes like they haven't cleaned their machine in weeks. The bagels were pretty good, but the service and coffee were enough to send me to Panera next time. read more

I give this location 2 stars and dropping. In the last two months the dough or preparation quality has dropped considerably. I'm finding large holes in the bagels - not small ones as expected, but large enough to swallow quarters and more. Reports to the company only received replies of "we'll look into it" but meanwhile the holes get worse.
