I ended up getting there about a minute after closing, the door was locked, I peeked in and the staff was waiting for me to get there and had my order ready to go as soon as I arrived. She was so gracious and kind, very appreciative! First time I had been to this store it was in a cute strip mall in the transit center complex, lots of seating for meet ups. The staff are always friendly and welcoming, which makes the experience even better. I'm from out of town and showed up for breakfast to this Bagel restaurant waiting for it to open only to find out they had no bagels and wouldn't for an hour. I was the first customer. You would think if that was their core product they would have a better inventory plan. A week ago, I had a craving for bagels. When I lived in Rochester, I either got bagels at Hy-Vee or Panera Bread. I have never been to Bruegger's Bagels. This store is roughly five minutes away from my hotel. I decided to check this place out. It's in a plaza. I backed my car into a spot steps away from the entrance and walked in. There were two male staffers behind the counter. I asked one of them whether there were any onion bagels left. He moved off to the side and showed me the onion bagels behind him. Perfect! I got six of them. I also went to the fridge area and got a tub of light herb garlic cream cheese. The downside is that this bagel chain does not have dairy-free cream cheese. My six bagels and a tub actually comprise a combo here. Yay! I paid with a credit card and all was well. I thanked the man and walked out with my bagels and cream cheese. I love the smell of bagels in my car. If I could get a scented onion bagel air freshener, I would. I get this huge urge to eat one while driving. I had a few more errands to run that day, so I refrained from being a bagel savage. When I got back to the hotel, I sliced one of the onion bagels open, toasted it, and smeared the light herb garlic cream cheese on both halves. These are New York-style bagels. I am more of a Montreal-style bagel person, but NY-style doesn't hurt my feelings. The onion bits on top weren't as caramelized or as done as I would have liked them to have been. These bagels were more doughy. They were okay. The light herb garlic cream cheese was amazing. I'm not sure what the light part signifies, but it was so garlicky, herby, and creamy. I highly recommend this cream cheese flavour. This place has a number of signature and breakfast bagel sandwiches that I want to try. I also wouldn't mind enjoying other bagel flavours. The adult men that work at this location thay i have encountered are so extremely rude. I would be shocked if this location was secret shopped and they passed any kind of customer service standards. I love the bagels and the breakfast sandwiches but today I had to walk out. I left my food at the counter and simply walked out and told the man cashiering(older male with long gray hair)- no thanks. I refuse to give a place business that treats me or any customer like I am an inconvenience. Going out isn't cheap and id rather spend my money elsewhere. read more

Management is unprofessional, rude and argumentative. the hospitality of those working is awful. I've been to other Bruegger's bagels and had amazing service but this one is by far the worst. If you want customers to continue to come back you give good quality service and are respectful to the customers and not be arrogant. I have given this location many tries and each time they repeat disappointing , rude and slow service! I placed an online order and was there at the time due. They had not even started my order so I ran a quick errand came back and guess what had not even started my order again. I waited another 10 minutes! This is the norm for this location. Well it was difficult to find a clean table in the dining area and then I wanted to wash my hands before eating. The bathroom was disgusting! The world is not shortstaffed anymore. also, there's something called a phone pick up the phone! literally sitting at the tables and the phone rings 1 time and nobody picks it up or bothers to look NO LINE. strongly recommend going to a different location and I'm even worried about that. Brueggers in general seems to have made some tough voices during the pandemic. It's been disappointing to see many favorites eliminated from the menu (olive pimento cream cheese and the peppered bacon). Some of the menu items quality made it easy to overlook the bad customer experiences but now that you couple both - poor food and terrible service, it's easily becoming a place to avoid. read more

I called to preorder my salmon Lox sandwich this am. I get this same one all the time. I do have to tell you theirs were exceptionally good. Person on phone took my detailed instructions over phone. He followed through every detail. When I picked it up within few mins later after calling - bagel was ready for pick up. I asked a employee what was on a sandwich, another employee jumped in and said "The picture is right there" I looked at her and said "I didn't ask for a picture I asked what was on a sandwich." The lady in a very loud and rude voice said "GOD!" I then asked for a manager and was told the rude lady was a manager. Then another employee pointed her finger at me and said "look lady she was just trying to help" I told her "to take that finger and get back to work." The manager asked us for service dog paperwork on our 12 lb dog. Kinda rude about it...there are ways to say it and be polite. I was unaware Bruegger's wasn't dog friendly. Also - we were done eating and literally getting up to leave. Will avoid this / all locations in the future. Thank you to the 2 employees that acknowledged us and our dog. They commented on how cute and well behaved "Buddy" was. The manager could take a few tips from his teenage employees. I seem to have a pretty bad experience every time I come to this location. With the Cliff location usually being my "go-to" it most definitely out beats this location by far. I got my usual egg, sausage and cheese on a plain bagel and bagel and I couldn't even finish it. It was quite tough, had a funny taste like the ingredients were old and very small portion. People are friendly but food isn't up to par like the Cliff location. Now I know to stick to my guns!!! Won't be returning to this location, sadly. If you're in the area I recommend trying the Cliff location. Very nice people and quality food. read more

I love brueggers and I come here a lot and have never had good service. Only some of the workers are wearing masks and the ones who are barely have them covering their face. The last several times I have visited this location the workers have seemed visibly annoyed to be working. They are not friendly and make customers feel like a burden for simply ordering a bagel. Dear Brueggers in the transit station: I'm a regular customer as we have work meetings that we get bagels for once or twice a week - your location is closest to our office so the bagels would typically come from there. As far as being a "regular" anywhere, this is about as close as it gets for me beside a grocery store or a gas station. Nothing wrong with the bagels, it's all well and good there, but more to the point is the customer service. I was looking for a donation for a non-profit event - it's not a problem if you say no, but please respond to customer's requests. I have called several times and every time been told someone would get back to me. The event is now 3 days away - if you had just gotten back to me I could have pursued other avenues - or given someone authority who is actually at the store. Today I called two other brueggers locations that aren't quite as close - they were able to tell me right away that they wouldn't be able to help - with maybe a moment on hold. Also one is now taking requests for donation for late september - that's really nice info when you are trying to plan an event. But I went in today to talk to you and gave all the information for a 4th time - and was then told that if we don't get back to you, we aren't interested. Well then why was i told someone would respond a month ago? I guess it is my bad for not pursuing other options when you blew me off, but I'm busy and it's not something i think of every day when I'm told someone will respond. Horrible customer service. For my bagel buying needs will be hitting one of the other stores where they can at least respond to customer requests. read more

I have been to this location three times. I like the chicken tarragon sandwich but the first time they were out of the chicken! The second time they were out of the whole wheat bread so I tried sourdough which made the sandwich blah. The third time they were also out of the yummy whole wheat bread. I like bagels!! I like Brueggers bagels and this one was very clean and the staff very friendly. I had plain bagel and plain cream cheese. The bagel was cook just right and the cream cheese did not have a hint of other flavors, as some places use the same spreader and mixes with the plain stuff (you know what I'm sayin, don't pretend you don't).
