Mondays are bagel day. I love Bruegger's Bagels' smoked salmon, cream cheese and red onion bagel sandwich. But you have to get there early for the warm bagels. Something about eating salmon for breakfast gives me a fresh alert feeling to start my week. Of course if you are not a fish person they have more traditional egg based bagel sandwich. So good either way and their coffee is wonderful too. So kick your drive through habit and walk in to Bruegger's and eat something comforting and tasty . So good! read more

I just ordered the new double stack Says bacon egg cheese repeat. That two layers of egg cheese and bacon. I only got one layer and an extra egg. When I brought it up to them they acted like I was crazy. Then he said well the picture is cut in half. No it clearly states a double meat. Double egg and double cheese. For a $7 bagel sandwich I expect to get what I paid for. No offer of fixing it or reimbursement just blew me off literally. read more

Such a delicious and fun place to eat! I'm not even a huge bagel fan but I loved eating here and am excited to come back!! The Zesty sauce was SO tasty and made my sandwich incredible. This is my first time trying Bruegger's bagels and I definitely will be returning often. First of all the staff member at the front was super helpful and friendly and was able to answer all my questions. Secondly the food was super delicious but the bagels sell out really quickly on the weekends so you have to get there pretty early. Lastly the facility was really nice and cozy inside and also clean so you can sit down and enjoy your food while feeling at home. read more

The service at this Madison location is HORRIBLE. No eye contact, no greetings... Pre-covid there was a different attitude and friendly service. A sign that tells you to ORDER HERE at register would help but you can't see what bagels are available from that angle. And the people preparing orders will not look at you or tell you that they don't take the orders. A good business and/or manager should take pride in what they do and represent. Don't even know why I tried again. Tried this place again on Saturday and to my surprise it still absolutely sucked. The service is always so terrible. Literally who is the manager? How do they just hang out in the back when the place gets busy. How are they always out of almost every bagel they offer. I will never try it again. It has been a loooong time since I stopped here. I was disappointed at first because the dining room is closed. At least give me the option :). Then I realized two teenagers were running the entire operation. Kudos to them--they were hustling, moving the line, and polite. I was disappointed again when I ordered the Farmhouse I saw in the big picture, and they asked me what kind of bagel. They didn't have the bagel in the picture so I went plain. Perhaps my 11:00 visit was too late for that type, I don't know. Four stars because they were open, my food was good, and the service was acceptable. I have never in my life been to a place so many times, that FAILS me every SINGLE time.. i have left yelp reviews, and they sincerely apologize? but let me tell you something nothing will change at this Bruegger's i have never seen a more lazy business in my life! I can come right at opening and do an online order to pick up a bagel before work, and this location will be completely out of most flavors that they charge "extra" for cause it's "gourmet" for them to throw a slice of America cheese on a bagel. But you can't even expect this location to do that, it doesn't matter if it's opening, 2 hours after, or what! They are never in stock of bagels, and won't ever make more. Which again, frozen bagel, yes i see then frozen in the back! Throw slice of cheese, then toaster!WOW, bagels! The worst part about it is, is that when you go there and they don't have your bagel, and they only have like garlic.. and things like that.. and you decided you want a refund? well every single time i have gone they've given me a long pitiful story telling me, i have to go online call them, wait 3-5 business days, or dispute it with me bank.. Three of us decided to try this Bruegger's store, being a fan of Bruegger's for many years. Our bagel sandwiches were delicious, perfectly prepared, and efficiently delivered. The coffee was fresh and good. A number of other reviewers had poor experiences with staff, but that was not our experience at all. There have been multiple occasions where I have ordered ahead 30 minutes or more and my order is not available. Juicy meat, very savory - Leonardo da veggie - I really liked this vehicle option for a summer lunch, very tasty and loaded with flavor - western brisket - very very good! Juicy and savory. I would say this is a must try! - hash brown - the hash brown should be eaten immediately and is best when it is fresh because it's crunch on the outside. When I walked in though, the young lady behind the counter was sitting in a chair on her cellphone and acted like it was an inconvenience that she was going to have to get up and wait on me. To start, the food is good. The bagels, although small, were fresh and tasty. The two young ladies working were not kind or helpful. The cashier seemed put out as we ordered and told us they were out of one of the bagels we wanted when they weren't. We went down the line after paying and saw the type of bagel that we had wanted, so my wife asked about it. The grumpy girl behind the counter with her earbuds in said it was for another order. We said ok and went to sit. When our order was done, they had made my wife's wrong. I went back and the bagel she wanted was still there. A friendly man behind the counter asked the grumpy girl if it was for another order and she told him no. This was the same girl that told us it was for another order. The nice man made the new sandwich with the correct bagel. My daughter ordered an iced caramel macchiato and it tasted like very sweet milk with a touch of coffee. I think maybe the best thing to do at this place is order bagels early - to go - and pick it up without interacting with the staff. First time and last time visit. Staff was young but nice. The menu items posted was not what the store had. The sandwich my friend ordered came on a certain type of bagel-did not have and with spicy brown mustard-did not have. It did come with the meat if you want to call one thin slice of meat a sandwich. my sandwich was supposed to have lettuce which they didn't have because of a recall but also didn't have cucumbers. We were the only customers in the restaurant during lunch time and I can understand why. Also I am 99% sure there was a child in the kitchen even though I didn't see one could definitely hear one and that's the only place it could have been. Haven't been here since before COVID due to terrible food. We came in after a unwelcoming experience across the street. This place was no better. No soup and no salad because of COVID staff said. They are serving bagels. Fountain drink machine was broken. No brewed tea setting next to it. Table tops dirty. Rotten lettuce on my bagel sandwich. Took lettuce off and most of the sandwich. Honestly, avoid this place. The staff is very immature and borderline rude. I'm not asking to be treated like a Princess or anything, but you don't have to laugh at me when I ask if you're out of a bagel (in this case it's the very popular jalapeño cheddar bagel) for the day or if you're going to possibly make more. They do not seem to be able to multitask very well, either. I'm generally left waiting for at least 10 minutes before they take my order if someone ahead of me has ordered. Ordering ahead is futile because the app doesn't even list all of their products, nor does it update if a location is out of something. I've witnessed plenty of frustrated Door Dash/GrubHub employees who have to call their customers and find out and alternative because their order isn't available. You're guaranteed a hassle free experience within the first hour of opening. Go there past 10:00 am and it's slim picking's.
