The food is always good from brueggers. I've never been to this location so I wanted to try while I was in town. I was waiting in the line and I was next. The guy comes out from behind the counter and says to me "you will not be served" . He says I wrote a racist survey of the service and location. I've never been here and the surveys are anonymous. I don't know what will happen next. I am not allowed back in the building and I called the district manager. She says she thought she already fixed the problem. read more

Ordered the Hot Pastrami and chips for delivery. Customer Service did a good job on the presentation. Little heavy on the mustard for some, but I like mustard, and the pastrami, deli pickles, and bagel were fresh and combined for a delish taste bud mix. First time coming here since moving to the area and the service was good and my bagel was good as well. I thought at first the place was closed because the open sign was turned off and the caribou sign was on but as we looked in their were lots of workers. All the tables were empty because of signs saying the dinning room was closed which seemed off to me. This is still one of those things that I'm not quite sure why people can't dine in anymore. I've noticed people place their order and go into caribou to grab a drink and tend to eat over there which is what we did. I hope that policy changes because it's not pleasant to want to come to have breakfast and then if it's your first time being forced to figure out we're to eat. read more

Asked for toasted bagel with cream cheese and veg- but it wasn't toasted at all and they gave just a very thin smear of cream cheese on part of one side, nothing on the other side. Too dry! "Out of order" and a new one that said to "ORDER AT THE REGISTER" so you cant even see the menu, and so it was fitting that everything was BACKWARDS. IT FELT LIKE A PLACE GOING OUT OF BUSINESS. One person at the register and one making orders and the guy in the back who sometimes makes sandwiches appeared to just be walking around. Today the food was great, as always with this place, but I had the worst customer service I have ever seen. I ordered when they were pretty busy, and sat down to wait. They called "Sydney" pretty fast which was unusual , and I took the bag. I went to look in and saw it was not my order. I went up to ask for a new bagel and the woman at the counter got so mad and threw the bagel away aggressively. She said "that was an online order, you're not sydney" I said "oh there must be two sydneys, sorry i didn't know this was the Online order counter" She told me she had to remake it and I said sorry again. She just sighed and turned around. Then, When my bagel was actually ready, I went up to get it and said "Thank you, sorry again" and the same woman threw it onto the counter and gave me a nasty look. Not a good look to put bad lettuce on your sandwiches. The worker barely put any sun dried tomato spread on it. I just hope I don't get sick. Over priced for the quality. I sometimes wonder if listening skills have gone away completely. With no line I was assured my order in less than 30 minutes. I was vey clear: "One sesame bagel cut ONCE, with plain cream cheese. First question I get is how many times do you want it cut? ONCE! She cuts it once, puts on cream cheese then cuts it again! Theoretically I could've refused it but that'd be a waste of food. $3.75 for ONE bagel. I go to pay and there's a line for a tip Ha! Never again. I am making a commitment to review every place I go in order to bring back, hopefully, a level of customer service that is expected when purchasing ANYTHING. This morning, I went to Brueggers to get an egg sandwich. Standing in line for over 15 mnts, when I finally ordered (650a) I was told they had to make the eggs. So, waited an additional 5 mnts. No apologies, no smiles, no attention to the time already spent in line. I paid over 8$ for an bagel with egg whites, bacon and cream cheese. Here is the problem-it was clear that the workers were defensive, frustrated, unhappy and that reflected onto every person in line. We had to wait for them, many online order pick up were happening as well and none were done, creating more chaos and stress to ALL. I understand being understaffed...what I don't understand is how that continues to be put on the customer. Prepare, as an organization. Stop increasing prices, asking for tips when payment is made and then not give an ounce of customer service to those who are paying for it. God forbid anything negative is said because then one becomes a "Karen" or is told they are insensitive to those working on the other side, but come on: it is 645a. Coffee should be done, eggs should be done, attitudes should be upbeat. If they can't be-work somewhere else where you aren't having to deal with the public or find a company that values you enough which then is reflected to the customer. Done with you Brueggars. I visit this Bruegger's at least every couple weeks, and have done so for at least 30 years. I was surprised at some of the prior reviews. I've ALWAYS been served quickly and gotten exactly what I ordered. I can't think of an incident when the staff has been less than polite and considerate. Occasionally one is even humorous. I love the seasonal variety and will make special trips for things like the St. Patrick's green bagels. Early on I worked in TX but would come to MN every other week. I had 2/3 staff in TX and 1/3 in St. Paul. I'd always stop in Bruegger's on the way in to the office to load up on bagels and cream cheese. I wanted the staff here to think - "Oh good, boss is in town so there will be bagels" rather than " ____ expletive deleted". It definitely helped. Nowadays I'm happily retired. This location never opens on time! 6:05-6:10...even though there's a line of people waiting outside! Went on Bruegger's birthday and was greeted by the older female manager , "Ahh Jesus Christ!" WOW!! That's really what I want to hear first thing in the morning!! Did you think if you were giving 3 free bagels away that you wouldn't be busy at open?!! My experience at this location varies. Mainly on who is working to be honest. Some days its really slow service, other days its great service. I love salmon and I usually buy the smoked salmon bagel. But I had one day in particular that just really left a sour taste in my mouth. Though it doesn't inhibit from me going to this facility, I would just rather go to another one or even another store altogether like Einsteins bagels which... to be honest.. They give more salmon, am I right? However, their bagels in the morning are the hit!! I love me a warm, freshly baked bagel from Brueggers in the morning. Especially a cinnamon sugar one. Not to mention they have other great ones as well like sun-dried tomato. I like Bruggers but there are some days when I kind of feel like its over priced for what I am buying if the bagel seems old or the product seems old overall.. Mind blowing experience. I order a bagel sandwich and the kid behind the counter grabs a bagel, throws it back in the bin, picks another one, throws that back in the bin and then finally grabs a third one. I thought it curious but didn't ask why. He makes my sandwich and I buy it. I go to my table and bite into it and the bagel is basically goo on the inside. I bring it up to him and tell him the bagel isn't cooked and he says (and this is the actual quote) "Yeah, our oven isn't working right." Now I don't think i need to state the obvious here but what the heck was this kid thinking? I would have complained to the manager but everyone behind the counter was like 19 and they all looked like they could care less than the other one. My family and I have been going to this place regularly for 7 years. They used to have a staff that was above average for a Bruegger's, including some really good people. In the last few years, the service has dropped. A few weeks ago, we went in for some bagels in the evening. The server hit the wrong buttons and charged us for several items incorrectly. She had to call the shift supervisor to refund our money. When my wife asked the supervisor for a receipt, he called her a b@#$%. I called the store the next day to complain and was told they would send us something and that the store manager would call us. Neither of these things happened. The supervisor in question is still working there. As long as he is there, we're not going back. read more

Work close to here so I decided to stop in after picking up some Caribou next door, it wasn't busy at the time I went there was only one person in front of me waiting on the worker to finish making her order. The worker looked at me but didn't say anything to me like "Hi, I'll be right with you" or anything just ignored my presence. Once she was done making the order for the lady in front of me, another person had gotten in line next to me. I'm not sure if I was invisible or what but the worker helped the lady behind me, before me. Never had that happen to me in my life but I was in disbelief. She knew I was there first because we made eye contact previously and I was first in line. I should have walked out, or said something but I am not one to cause a scene.
