Pulled into the drive through last night at 8:30pm. (4/22/24) 2 cars in front of me. I sat there for 15 minutes with no advancement. Luckily, there was no one behind me and I was able to back out of the line and go home. (unfortunately without my Blizzard) Not the first time this has happened. Last week when I was there I sat at the order station for at least 5 minutes before anyone waited on me. The drive through service is terribly slow. I love ice cream. I make it a habit to stop here when I am out in the community for work so I can get my fix of a Blizzard. My favorite Blizzard is the New York Style Cheesecake. Note, I came here on Customer Appreciation Day when the place was beyond busy. I was very pleased that everything in the store was 50% off, so I got two ice cream cakes for upcoming birthdays. I also ordered food, which took probably 40 minutes to come out. While I would usually write a poor review for that, like I said, it was Customer Appreciation Day so the place was mobbed. Nonetheless, everyone was running around trying to get their jobs done, and they were friendly too. The girl restocking the cakes (Rachel) was very helpful, knowledgeable, and kind. There was also a guy who was bringing orders around, and he even saw how much I was struggling with carrying two cakes and waiting for my food, that he held on to my ticket and held the doors open for me so that I could run the cakes out to my car. All in all, the staff was so sweet and I must commend them for that! read more

Rating based on being in the "fast food" genre. No culinary greatness here, but my kids like it, and sometimes a "Blizzard" is just the thing you want. The food preparation seems a bit longer than other national burger joints, but I prefer DQ, if given the option. I have been here many times, and this appears to be a clean, well run franchise, what makes it 5/5 are the employees here usually are very good--even on "1/2 off everything day" they were all polite and efficient, even though the same cannot be said for a few of the rude customers I observed. read more

Much as I hate to lower my review from a clever poem to a mediocre, slightly angsty criticism, I was not too impressed with the last time I was there. The food was good as usual, got what I normally would, along with the ice cream which they told us they'd bring out when we were done with our food. We ate inside and it was extremely busy, so I figured it might be awhile until they got to us. But as it happened as the crowd dispersed, and there was a few workers there who were asking if the folks sitting near us were ready for their ice cream... Yet breezed right by me and my mom, whom I was eating out with. Okay, so we wait a little longer, foods all gone, and eventually mom asks the fellow who had been serving everyone else around us that were were ready for our ice cream. He sort of responded with a lazy 'okay' and dashed off. At this point I was getting a little annoyed, as even after we'd let them know we were ready (and the place was just about empty save for us now) still nothing came. So FINALLY I went up to the counter and told them we were ready, and they finally got to us. So I was very irked about this experience, the people seemed happy to help everyone else around us but never paid us any mind at all. I mean, did I stink or something? I'm pretty sure I showered that morning, not sure why those people avoided us like the plague...People who arrived later on were getting their stuff before us, so i didn't get this at all. anyways, probably won't eat inside again since they usually get it right at the drive through at least. read more
