Chickpea Scramble. Hotcakes with berry compote in the upper right corner.

The decor, menu and service is all basic L.A. ingredients to open a restaurant. None of it's bad, but it's all been done other places around town, and it's the same stuff, different restaurant name. It's located on a busy street in Studio City with too many other popular restaurants already, and parking is incredibly challenging. One thing I do appreciate at Great White is table service. Loads of L.A. restaurants are a fast, casual concept and you have to order at the counter, take a number to a-table-of-your-choosing, and wait for your food to be dropped off--in which you never see a staff member again. Service has gone out the window. Great White is going to be a go-to for the girls who brunch. Parents in from out-of-town to visit their adult children and/or grandchildren. They will be brought to Great White because there's enough room for the number of people, and it gives an upscale, SoCal vibe.

Loved the decor. Very California laid back beachy vibes. Gorgeous waitstaff. Now the food: lots of choices. Me- I'm boring. I had the margarita pizza. It was a little different than usual pizza, very light undercarriage and a thin layer of cheese. Two people could've eaten one or shared it as an appetizer. I took half home. My companion had the salad with salmon. She was very happy with her choice which was recommended by our server. It was a little noisy, but what do you expect at lunchtime in a popular restaurant? I'd like to return at night. They don't have a proper hang out bar, but they do have cocktails and wine. I would imagine it's a good date spot.

I've been to their other locations before, so I was excited when this one opened since it's much closer to me. I finally got to try it, and it was just as good as I expected. We ordered the chicken kebab, the curry salmon, shared a pizza, and had a cocktail, and everything was fresh and really flavorful. The service was great too. We had someone in our group with soy and egg allergies, and the staff was super helpful and made sure we knew what was safe to order. I'm so glad they opened this location because I'll definitely be coming back.

Great White is one of those places where you're really going for the atmosphere just as much as the food. The food itself was good, but nothing that completely blew me away. What makes this spot stand out is the decor and overall ambience -- it genuinely feels like you've been transported to a chic Tulum café right in the middle of Studio City. Every corner is gorgeous, bright, aesthetic, and honestly so Instagram-worthy. The service was good too. Our waiter was really kind and welcoming, though he disappeared for a bit toward the end, but it wasn't a huge deal. I'd definitely recommend it as a cute brunch or daytime spot, especially since it's open all day. Just know the portions are on the smaller side and the pricing is definitely a little high for the amount of food you get. But honestly... that's kind of Studio City. You're paying for the vibes, and the vibes are very good.

10/10 breakfast. Such a cute restaurant, stoked to have one in the valley! Banana bread is a MUST! Delicious I came after a night shift, in scrubs. They comped the banana bread as a thank you for my "night shift service". made my day! The amazing service definitely made the restaurant that much more amazing and will be my new go to spot.

Duuun dun...duuun dun...duuun dun...No, it's not the OG "Jaws," but it was named after the "Great White." A huge splash in Studio City on the same street where they hold the weekly Farmer's Market every Sunday. The interior reminded me of a stone cafe you might find in Italy or Greece. Yes, a trendy place but with a very casual dress code. You can sit at the small bar in the back for a cocktail and watch the staff do their thing before heading to your table... Went with a few girlfriends ~ we decided to share 2 small Margherita Pizza's at $24 a pop, a Farmer Market Salad @$22, & Fries. Myself and another gal had margaritas while the other 2 had a few glasses of white wine. The food and drinks were good. Decent sharing size if you want to try more of a variety. Service was good. *Definitely on the pricey side...this street is slowly becoming the "Bev Hills" of the SFV. A tad boujee for me but I am willing to go back again...as long as I am not buying...LOL! ~ and that's all I have to say about that...

    Great White Breakie
    Melissa O.

Met a friend here for brunch around opening time, right before it got super crowded. We both ordered a Great White Breakie which has folded eggs, bacon, avocado, goat cheese, roasted tomato, arugula, sourdough. It was simple but SO delicious. All the ingredients were fresh and the eggs were so fluffy. I also had a yuzu lemonade - it was carbonated and not very sweet, pretty good, too. Customer service was good, servers were attentive. The space is gorgeous and very modern looking, bummed I didn't get any pictures.

I absolutely loved this place quite alot more than other great white locations. Very chic-cozy and modern interior, super friendly staff and very quick service. The food was okay, we absolutely loved the crispy Brussels and salad dressing (champagne vinaigrette) was divine, however their pasta was so tasteless and dry, maybe they are not the best place to try pasta. Definitely try this place, highly recommended.

This place is overrated to me. I went because it's the buzz of the town. All my industry friends keep mentioning it. But, it was crowded, hot, and had average and very overpriced food. Ambiance 3/5 Big place in the heart of Studio City. I know there's one in larchmont and one in Venice I believe. So the concept isn't new. It's just new to here. It's a big space. Ok looking. Semi open concept which was filled to the brim with people and no AC. Not great on a hot day. We opted to sit at the bar to not wait for a seat and we sat right in front of their I'll placed pizza oven, which literally burned our faces. Thankfully they moved us to another area of the bar in a corner. But yeah. Avoid that back bar in the summer! Service 3/5 It's a lot of aspiring influencers... I mean waiters hustling to serve fast. They were nice but had no time to be personable. We originally got the wrong order sent to us. But quickly fixed it. Food came out in about 10-15 min. Food 2/5 Here's where I take real issue. This place would be a fine brunch/lunch spot if the food was either top notch for the price... or much cheaper. I walked away paying 90 bucks for my partner to have a super mid breakfast sandwich (no sides). I had fish tacos that were more like a a lettuce wrap. They tasted ok. But it was maybe 2oz of actual fish and some lettuce, dill, and cilantro. A hot sauce they claimed was really hot that wasn't hot at all. We had a tuna tartar app that was tasty but really small. And two ice teas (8 bucks each!) I know things are expensive these days but I continually think to myself - if I'm going to pay this price, which I am fortunate to have the means to do - then I want something exceptional. It doesn't have to be big in quantity. Just something unique that doesn't feel like a rip off. Something can't make at home for 1/8 the price (that will actually taste better and be healthier) So yeah, this place is a no for me dog. I don't need to feel important or trendy eating my brunch lettuce fish wrap. Pretty looking though it may be. Hop over to aerloom in Toluca lake for a bit more history and a better meal.

Great White just opened in Studio City, and we stopped by for lunch on a sunny Friday. We've been to the Larchmont location and loved it and this one feels very similar. The space has a few layout differences, but overall it's the same experience, except this one is in the Valley. One notable difference is no outdoor seating. The menu is basically identical and the food comes out fast. And it's consistent, too. I ordered my usual breakfast burrito to compare and it put the usual smile on my face. The chipotle aioli that comes with it is still the star. My wife got the poke bowl, which she enjoyed eating and I enjoyed looking at. The biggest difference is the crowd. Larchmont leans heavy on tourists and Instagram types, while Studio City feels more local with families and industry folks. It's definitely on the pricier, bougie side. But you still walk away feeling like you had a solid, cool lunch. We even spotted an actress from "Scandal" as a bonus. Also worth mentioning, they allow dogs inside. A huge plus for us and our pup.

    Chocolate mousse + Pavlova

As usual with my reviews, I like to start with the most practical detail -- parking. Parking in this area can be a bit challenging. We visited on a Sunday afternoon in March 2026 and had to park a little farther away than expected. Add to that the one-hour wait, and naturally our expectations climbed sky-high before even walking through the door. The restaurant itself was very clean, and the service was surprisingly quick considering how busy it was. Tables and floors were well maintained. The only small detail I noticed was a few bread crumbs or tiny food particles on the couch/chairs. Nothing major, but worth mentioning. We didn't visit the restrooms, but judging by the overall condition of the restaurant, I wouldn't expect anything less than sparkling clean. Now to the best part -- the food. Everything arrived beautifully presented, almost too pretty to disturb. For drinks, we kept it simple: a basic alcoholic cocktail and a cappuccino. The coffee was excellent -- rich, smooth, and served in a generous cup. For our main courses we ordered the Salmon Yellow Curry and the Bolognese. Both dishes were wonderful, but if I had to choose, the salmon would win my vote. It carried just the right amount of spice and depth of flavor that made every bite interesting. Dessert was a small adventure of its own. We tried the Pavlova and the chocolate mousse. The Pavlova leaned a little too sweet for our taste, but the mousse was fantastic -- silky, balanced, and sprinkled with tiny crunchy pieces (which I assume were hazelnuts) that added a lovely texture. As for the price, it felt fair for the location, quality, and overall experience. Our total came to $120 plus tip (March 2026). Will I go back? Absolutely. It's the kind of place that feels perfect for a relaxed meet-up with friends or even a casual business conversation over good food.

Just tried the new Great White in Studio City and it's honestly such a great addition to the area. The space itself is beautiful, super bright, clean, and aesthetically done. It has that classic Great White vibe that makes you want to stay for a while. The food was amazing. I got the breakfast sandwich and really liked it, everything tasted fresh and the flavors were perfect. My friend ordered the breakfast burrito and loved it. The drinks were also really good. The strawberry matcha was one of the best I've had, and their dirty chai latte was super flavorful without being too sweet. Service was great and everyone was really friendly. Overall the whole place is just a complete vibe. Definitely a spot I'll be coming back to.

This new location for Great White is an amazing addition to Studio City! Love the ambiance and design and Nick our server was great! He was so friendly and funny. Very knowledgeable to the menu and what they do well at great white! Love that they use fresh ingredients from the Studio City Farmer's Market. We got some glasses of orange wine which was so refreshing and tried the truffle mushroom pizza. INCREDIBLE. Strongly recommend and can't wait to try more off the menu! 10/10

Unfortunately, my first visit back in two years was extremely disappointing. My server wasn't very communicative and didn't explain the menu, portion sizes, or that many dishes were meant to be shared, so I ended up ordering far more food than I needed. The food was not what I remembered. The curry was overly salty, I didn't enjoy the dumpling filling, and the protein inside the spring rolls had an unpleasant aftertaste. Overall, I simply didn't like the food (beside the vegetables soup) The atmosphere was extremely overwhelming. The outdoor seating I used to enjoy was gone, and inside the restaurant was crowded and very noisy, with loud customers, music, and kitchen noise all competing at once. After a long day, I was hoping for a relaxing dinner, but instead left with a strong migraine, I was trying to eat and felt like I wanted to run away from there to just get peace & quiet. When I paid, I explained that I genuinely didn't like most of the food. Despite barely eating more than a soup, a few bites of curry, and one spring roll, I was still charged $53 and was told "there was nothing they could do about it" This restaurant is nothing like the Hope Kitchen I used to know. Between the disappointing food, poor service, and uncomfortable atmosphere, it was a terrible experience. I won't be returning, and I cannot recommend it.
