This place has potential but service was so poor and inconsistent that it was not a good experience. Put out names down but the hostess didn't seem to be using the waitlist system. We were seated fairly quickly, and they took our coffee and food order quickly. Then it was just waiting watching people who were seated after us get their drinks first. One dish came out relatively quickly, but we had to ask for silverware. Then we waited another 45 minutes before I told the waitress that we needed to leave for an appointment. It seemed the kitchen was understaffed and instead of someone helping them out, they have one barista focused only on coffee orders and waitstaff just standing around chatting. We had to ask for our coffee three times but they were quick to rush the check out before we got our food. Management needs to take a look at how their staff is serving, set goals for getting entire meals out together and quickly. read more

The hollandaise was velvety and beautiful, lobster perfectly cooked! Their hash browns are perfectly crunchy, bacon or sausage, whichever you choose is perfectly crunchy, eggs are prepared with precision and the Belgian waffle is light and fluffy. They also make a light and airy Belgian waffle that comes with their own homemade honey bourbon syrup that is out of this world! I got the Lake Hills omelette and she got the chicken & waffles. SO GOOD! The portions were just right and everything was delicious! We have been waiting a long time for a Diner like this close by to our neighborhood and actually within walking distance for us. I came to this place after school with 4 of my friends. As we walked in we were immediately serviced. I ordered the chicken and waffles and got it within 10 minutes and when I tell you it's one of the best chicken and some of the best waffles I've ever had I'm not joking at all. The chicken was tender, crunchy and so flavorful and the waffles... soooooooo sooooo soooooo good, they were delicious and would just melt in your mouth and not even to mention the syrup was to die for. And to top it all off after this amazing meal, the owner of the restaurant came and gave us cookies and talked to us for a little bit before we left. This place could have been good, but I'd recommend going somewhere else considering the prices and service. There needs to be improvements with the service. The restaurant is very small and not many tables. Many tables would stay there for awhile because the servers wouldn't bring the checks quickly or get people to get moving. We had to flag down servers for everything. They had multiple servers but it seemed like there wasn't good organization of what each person was responsible for. Many of them would walk around but not come to check in. The servers didn't ask if the food was good when it arrived and we had to ask repeatedly for our check.
