Not sure why they make the store so dark? I came here last night to buy pastry, the lighting makes me feel like they are closing. However, the staff was friendly, I bought sandwiches from the shelf and she even ask me do I want to make it hot? This morning, I came here for sea salt coffee, the coffee was very watery.

medium iced hazelnut latte with oatmilk

My family has been coming to this bakery every few months since they opened and we are obsessed. My go-to is the hazelnut muffin but they were completely out today. It's so perfectly rich and creamy, I love warming it up in the microwave. I wanted a Brown Sugar Milk Tea, but despite having a Brown Sugar flavoured coffee and a Milk Tea on their menu, they weren't able to make me a Brown Sugar Milk Tea. Instead, I ordered a Hazelnut Latte with oatmilk and it was really yummy. The coffee flavour was a little stronger than I normally drink but I loved the sweet balance of the hazelnut. My sister got the iced strawberry matcha latte with oatmilk and she liked the flavour but thought the strawberry chunks in the purée were too dense. The drink was super pretty though. My only complaint about this place is that they've recently gotten so popular sometimes the line is super long and only one person is working. It makes for a pretty rushed check out experience. Our cashier prompted us to pay multiple times while we were trying to order our drinks and kept having to cancel the card reader transaction which honestly took longer than if she'd just waited for us to finish ordering before trying to rush us to pay. I've never sat down at this bakery to eat, but while we were waiting for our drinks, the seating area was pretty gross with water and trash on the floor. I probably wouldn't have eaten there even if I wanted to.

Hard to choose from so many delicious bakery items. Loaded up our tray and had a quick checkout. All the items were delicious but my favorite was the cream cheese pastry!

    Very hot cafe latte.

This was the first time I've been in to this location and surprisingly it was fairly empty, which was a plus. I must've missed the rush! Most of their baked goods were running low, but they were replenishing it as I was browsing. I was able to find what I like without having to wait, which are the egg tarts, berry tale bun, and milk pudding bun. I just love how these treats are not too sweet and boy, it just melts in your mouth! So much goodness in every bite! Lastly, I like how they have everything all set up for you upon walking in. You have your tray, all the treats to choose from. Also to make things quicker or convenient, if you would like to order drinks there's a kiosk at the entryway too.

Unfortunately, the Bellevue location speaks really poorly to their customers. I witnessed a child accidentally knock over the napkin holder, an elderly man came to help pick everything up. The child ran away, and the staff member at this location decided to tell the elderly man " maybe next time you should try being more careful" I don't think any person should speak to a customer like this, especially someone who was actually stepping into Help. I just don't think the service here is great compared to other locations I've been to, constructively. Also, the bathroom is disgusting. And they have speakers inside them with music super loud. What they do well is the food is stocked and everything seems available especially if you go earlier in the day, everything looks really uniform, and the cash register does go quickly, so no lines get long. Drinks are pretty good as well.

A newly found dessert delight. Deserves 5 stars for many reasons - squeaky clean, great presentation, freshly made desserts, amazing staffs, no tips asked, affordable. The desserts stands for it's freshness and taste. They keep filling the desserts regularly. You will know that the breads are freshly baked. They have cakes too - we got a strawberry cake and black forest. Both of them were made with favor rich ingredients. This place seemed like a great find because they seem to rotate the desserts, so you will find something new to try every time you do. I didn't even mention about their coffees and drinks - they have a wide selection and we liked both the hazelnut latte and milk tea we got. Definitely coming again.

Hokkaido cream bun. 2-3x less filling than other locations near Seattle.
    Gina T.

I love 85C for their Hokkaido cream bun but this location has significantly less cream filling than other locations in Seattle. I once got a bun with 0 filling. Tukwila and Edmonds' locations are packed full of cream.

Great stop for a rainy day. A few indoor tables but seems like more of a to-go vibe. This location has trays for the buffet snack style, but you don't really need them because everything is already wrapped in plastic. I don't love how much plastic is being used, but this is probably just a symptom of COVID. The hot sea salt matcha has a great strong matcha flavor, the salt is only at the top and brings out more flavor (I don't like a lot of salt and it wasn't overpowering at all). The mango creme brûlée was so fluffy! Not as tangy as I'd like so it didn't cut the sweet cream flavor much, but delicious nonetheless. The texture made it worth while. I wish I could try everything !

Incredibly difficult to decide, we chose a sampler of Opera Cake, Raspberry Napoleon, Lemon Tart, Almond Pistachio Passionfruit Mousse, Rustic Chocolate Cake, Berliner, and Pistachio Baklava. Everything was amazing. My husband loved the Lemon Tart--incredibly flavorful. My ultimate favorite of our sampler--the Rustic Chocolate Cake: chocolatey, moist, and lovely mousse; this cake is the best chocolate cake I have ever had. A very close second was the Pistachio Baklava--everything baklava should be: flaky, buttery, syrupy- also a top contender for the best baklava. What struck me the most was the hospitality. Miss Daniela made note that baklava should not be eaten cold; she took the time to warm up the baklava, and let us know that the Berliners are best eaten day off. We had no choice but to listen to the expert. The only drawback is that the bakery is only open two days during the week, but it can also be a blessing in disguise, as I would be lined up every day! Definitely plan a visit to Daniela Solis Bakery--you will not be disappointed. No images of the baklava--they did not make it out of the parking lot.

A fun fact is that Mercury's headquarters is located right next door to this location. One of my favorite things is that many of their pastries are made fresh in-house, and you can actually watch the staff preparing them. Their croissants are always a great choice, and I also highly recommend their breakfast sandwiches. They even serve pizza if you're looking for something more filling.
