The place was good but I guess it lacked a bit flavor and sauce for our order. We ordered the pork belly salad and chicken plate with rice and veggies plus we also tried their yuzu drink no sugar. I think they forgot to add the sauce in our order coz we didn't enjoy it as much as we thought we would. The service was great, the servers were nice and the place was nice and clean. I guess usually people do pick up or takeout and only few people were eating inside too.

Not as good as toast me but if you're on the Eastside, it'll do...and it does if by evidenced by the crazy long line they had snaking through the whole restaurant on a Monday afternoon . Super busy, so order online! You can walk right up the counter and grab your order. Lots of chicken but a little skimpy on the sauce. Super loud inside.

So much food for the price so it was definitely worth it! The pork was great, not a big fan of the pork belly though. It was fast and the inside was clean.

Sizzle and Crunch bring me back to my college days. I remember when they first opened in U-District and the crazy line out the door to get a yummy Chipotle-style Vietnamese rice bowl (or banh mi) topped with fried egg and their iconic green sauce (cilantro mayo). They have since expanded to South Lake Union and now Bellevue. My friend and I were excited to visit their Bellevue location for the first time on a weekday evening a couple of weeks ago. The new Sizzle and Crunch in Bellevue has street parking and I believe parking in the adjacent apartment building, but don't quote me on that because I didn't park in there. The inside is clean and modern with 10-15 booths/tables. My friend ordered their Pork Bowl ($14.99) and I ordered a Build Your Own Vermicelli bowl with half salad/half vermicelli, grilled chicken ($11.99), vegetables, egg (+$1.99), and green sauce. With tax and tip, my total came to $17.71. The grilled chicken was just as phenomenal as I remember- super well-marinated, sweet, savory, and perfectly charred. The vegetables were fresh and crunchy. However, I have to say that I remember portions being larger in U-District as I used to barely be able to finish a bowl on my own. Eggs were also half the price 5 years ago ($1), but with the egg inflation, I'm not surprised that an egg costs $2 now. While I like that they have vermicelli noodles as a base option now, I wish they offered brown rice as an option. The green sauce was also fantastic, but I wish they gave you more of it as well as sides of fish sauce or soy sauce as there just wasn't enough sauce for the bowl. Another downside is that even if you order for here, they give you plastic takeout containers which seem like a waste to the environment, especially because they're not compostable. I would love it if they switched to real bowls or at least compostable paper bowls. Also, other than putting your bowl together, there isn't really any service involved as you bus yourself at the end of your meal. Tables and floor are clean. They were also quite busy for a weekday night. Overall: 3/5 for food, 3/5 for service, 3.5/5 for atmosphere

Ambiance is good. Noise level is average and there's a lot of seating for dine in. House pork plate (4/5): so yummy. It was really flavorful. The green sauce had a good kick. The beef was tender but the smoky flavor was a bit much. I loved the chicken though. The salad was good too. Tap to pay is accepted. Service is quick and the line moves at a good pace. Overall, Sizzle&Crunch is a good place.

Always a fast, healthy, and convenient place to grab food! My go to is the chicken vermicelli bowl, everything is always super consistent and you can always change up your toppings if you want! Staff is also always friendly when I've stopped in! There's a lot of seating at this location and I've never seen it get too busy!

Been told this was a go to spot in Bellevue and finally gave it a try and yes, indeed it lived up to the hype! In fact it was so good we went there twice in a week's span. Each time we got the rice bowl filled with your choice of proteins - we had the chicken and beef - that had just the right amount of spices and a hint of lemongrass. They've got great options for vegetarian's too! After you get your bowl move on. It add a sunny side up or over easy egg plus all the other veggies and sauces. The green sauce is definitely our fav! On our other trip we also got the vermicelli bowl which equally as deelish! The cost is right on par and the servers in their Bellevue location were great. The ambiance is no grills and there are tables for those who want to eat in. If you get it to go be sure to pay up (only 25 cents) for one of their cool reusable bags!

    Grilled pork banh mi

I ordered a grilled pork banh mi and received the worst, saddest, soggiest, blandest banh mi I've ever had. The store name is Sizzle&Crunch, but the baguette wasn't crunchy at all. In fact, it was soggy and cold. The seasoning was bland, the meat lacked flavor, and the pickled veggies were neither sour nor sweet. Don't trust the ratings here, Uber, or Doordash, because it's way worse. There are many better places serving banh mi around the Seattle area.

I been to their other location in Seattle so was very excited to see they have a location on the Eastside now! Parking can be hard as it's mostly street parking. I ordered online right at 11 and the food was ready within 20 minutes. They were already busy by the time I was there though. A lot of online takeout orders were in the queue. It can get loud if people actually come to dine in. I got the vermicelli bowl and the rice bowl both with pork. The rice is probably the better one in my opinion as the Cilantro cream sauce was really yummy and they use broken rice as their base. Both dishes were good though. Fresh and hefty. Overall, Im happy they have a location here and will be back for sure.

They always give a lot of protein and topping! I love all the vegetable topping options. The green sauce is delicious! Their beef is also very yummy. You pick base, protein, then toppings, just like Chipotle.

I first had the U District Sizzle&Crunch and loved the broken rice with marinated meats! The sauces are delicious and the added lettuce, other greens and vegetables plus cucumbers make you feel you're eating a healthier meal. Aka Chipotle but Vietnamese bowls. It's probably not authentic Vietnamese but it's more like a guilty pleasure visit. The service was great! The restaurant was very spacious, tall ceilings and most importantly, clean!

Jasmine milk tea, skip this lol

    - Food is great, longer wait during meal time - This place is popular and a lot of tech ppl working in downtown Bellevue come here for lunch (mostly takeout), so the wait is quite crazy and the line is usually super long. I ordered through Ubereats 10 minutes before 12, and they really made me wait for 40 minutes for the food lol. I can't blame them, the line basically maintained the same length if not longer. Plus tons of people ordered takeout as well. Note that they don't update you when the order is ready, so you have to check with them constantly for your order status. This is our second time here, and we ordered the beef sirloin steak vermicelli bowl and the salad bowl. I also got the Jasmine milk tea, and regret it since it's quite watery. I'd recommend skipping the drinks here since they fill the cup with ice first, so you really don't get much from here. Plus it's not even good... I don't know, maybe the Vietnamese coffee is okay since they fill the cup with tons of ice everywhere. Their main dishes are always good and balanced, so just get your meal here and skip the drinks. Be prepared for a longer wait time during lunch on weekdays, and you will be good.

Amazing food with good portion. A relatively healthy, fresh, and flavorful option. Price was great for this set up too. I really enjoyed it as a workday quick dinner. Will definitely come back and try more

Great place when you're craving Hainanese Chicken…read more I had the combo chicken rice, which comes with your lighter Hainanese chicken and fried chicken. The Hainanese chicken was so tender and almost pure. It had depth and complemented the chicken fat infused rice. It's a nice balance and you can dip sauce into it if you like more intense flavors. I also liked the fried chicken because it had more texture to a tender dish and I found it nice to go back and forth. We also tried the noodles and it was decent and had a slow burn (spicy) to it but i like the rice dishes the best. The combo chicken was more than enough food for me - I left very full. Ambiance is casual. We arrived on Friday around 6:45pm, and joined a waitlist of 9 for 2 ppl. We waited about 25 minutes for a table. You sit down, order via QR code, and food comes out! Service was decent - nice and friendly and attentive - it's not a place where they'll wait on you regularly but it's also not that kind of setting. Parking is either on the street or in the H Mart complex parking lot. All in all - great eatery

The chicken was steamed beautifully, and the pieces tasted very fresh. The dish came with two kinds of sauces, and both are perfectly delicious. The rice was cooked with chicken fat and juices. Also, I noticed their floor were extremely greasy and slippery. They put down black rugs in main walkways , but on the way to the restroom was without and I almost slip and fell. They really need a deep clean to their floor, or someone might fall for real.
